These jeans were the short option and still about 5 inches too long. Too bad Ariat thinks all girls are 5'7".

The jeans seem to be a very good quantity, however I ordered a short length but they are way too long! I am 5'1" and normally a short length fits great. I now have to decide if I should send them back or pay to have them hemmed.

The jeans fit great in the waist but were very loose and baggy in the groin area. The quality seemed good otherwise but I was disappointed that I had to send them back.

They did not sit where normal mid-rise should hit, different from my pair from a store.

More like flare but really wide in legs. Not like it shows.

Overall the sizing was correct. I wear a size 30 and the fit was perfect. I usually buy Hudson, Lucky, Free people and Rag & Bone Jeans, so these were a no for me. I sent them back. They seemed comfy, they just weren't for me. I just wanted those who like this style to know, that, the size was on point for me.

Bad chemical smell even after a wash. I should have returned them before the wash. I have never had this issue.

These jeans stink. I should have not even attempted to wash them because even after the wash they smell like chemicals. I have never had my previous pairs of Ariat jeans have these issues.

I ordered these jeans and they came in three days! I was shocked! The jeans have a perfect amount of stretch, the back pockets are nice and big, and the front pockets are deeper than in most women's jeans. I wasn't sure on the length to get since regular sometimes shrinks shorter than I'd like, so I got long. I step on the bottoms a bit but once I'm in boots I'm good. I love how cute these jeans are, and they might be my new favorite.

The pair I got looks great and they are long enough, BUT... They are too tight around the waist (even though they are supposed to fit; this is the size I usually wear) and they are too loose around the thighs, so the fabric bunches in a weird way in the back of the thighs.

My jeans came missing the front right belt loop. Very noticeable and very disappointing.

Just got my order and now it's on it's way back. not true to size at all, I suggest getting two sizes up from what you normally are with this style. They are great quality though and thick! Which is great for ranching and riding.

I was in search of some sturdy jeans to hold up to my job as a mixed animal veterinarian. These were recommended on a FB page I am a member of. I am 5'3" and ~145 lbs and ordered the 30S. While the quality of the jeans was excellent, I was highly disappointed in the advertised "short" length. I would have had to hem at least 3-4" off to even consider wearing them with boots. I returned them because at this price, I would rather purchase jeans that fit properly without having to be drastically altered.

great fit hips and thighs but waist was too snug, I have gotten many ariat brand jeans and this was the only one that I did not like fit

I wear size 27 x-long (in ariat brand) so I thought it would be ok to order the same size I buy in stores, well I was wrongI bought 2 pairs and they are just huge on my waist, how is it even possible? Same brand and same sizes to be completely off??? Very disappointed!

I ordered these in short and they are longer than pairs I have in standard length. The "bootcut" on these is also giant. It fits more like a wide leg than a bootcut. I am returning these. I have been really disappointed with the lack of consistency and quality control with Ariat clothing the last 2 years.

Way to long for a regular length very baggy in the butt

Lovely jeans but i am told Ariat No longer do xl Leg. Really disappointed. 26 waist is perfect but even with both feet on the ground these jeans are above ankle in the long leg. Would look like crop pants in the saddle

I bought "short" -- these are so far from short - probably 34 inches long. Not worth it to spend this much money then have to spend more to alter them.

The zipper on these jeans was broke and does not stay up

They came in new in package, but I cannot get the Formaldehyde smell out. I've washed them 5 times and hung out in the sun to try. I cannot get a response from customer service.

Have purchased jeans before and they always fit perfectly. These, not so much. Ran so incredibly small. Customer service did ZERO to help. Very disappointed.

Denim immediately stretched out and were way bigger than stated size.

These jeans had definite flaws during construction! The outer seam on one leg was done so poorly that you could see the seam when looking straight forward at them on a person. It ran more to the front then it did along the side where it belongs

I bought 2 pairs of these jeans about a year ago and I really liked them they for great. Went back a week ago bought another pair. There extra long is not accurate the jeans were clearly shorter. Mistakes happen I thought it was a manufacturer defect. So I went online and ordered another pair and the same thing. They are not extra long. Don't get these jeans if you are tall. They are not a 37 inseam
