I bought these in my normal size twenty-nine short. They stretch too much for me and became loose.

The boot cut is opening is more of a flare; definitely not a boot cut compared to any boot cut jeans I've ever owned. I'm always hesitant when a fit is described as slim through hips and thighs because I have curvy. I found these actually seemed to run a bit big so there was not an issue and they were, in fact, looser than preferred.

I'm bummed by these ones, they're the perfect rinse for me so I was excited for them (many of the boot cuts are a bit dark or don't have enough fading on the thighs as these), but when I tried them on they are quite relaxed throught the hip and thighs. I prefer the slimmer fit to the knees. Had to return as they look stretched out on me and they defintely don't "hug" in the right places for nice curves.

I calculated the size i would need since i wear a size 10, and it said i was a size 28 waist and it's a smidge to small. I could've gone with a 30 waist.

I tried these jeans on in the store and it was a perfect fit. Unfortunately when I had them shipped they were way to big. I am definitely bummed I had to return them.

Quality material, but fits more like a wide, straight jean (there was a lot of excess material at the knees and wide-leg opening). Waist fit as expected, mid-rise as expected, but wider, oversized leg throughout the jean than a normal boot cut, not what I expected. I did return these, it wasn't the fit I was wanting.

I ordered the exact same model number and size that I had but these ones fit way bigger.

Short length still too long. Had ordered regular length and they were too long so ordered short and still too long. Only 1" difference in length between regular and short.

Fits well. I am more wide in the hips and short but I bought a regular which is way too long for me. I thought I was average regular. But Ariat size runs longer. So a 30" inseam is SHORT!. Don't make my mistake. Otherwise, fit is comfortable.

The fit and length are absolutely perfect and they are so comfortable. The only issue I had is that there is a small rip in the leg that wasn't made by any outside object. I don't know how the rip got there but it's unraveling quickly...

The Boot Cut is a little too flared for me, Straight leg is much better.

I have been wearing these jeans almost exclusively for about 6 years now, and I love them. Not sure what is going on with my most recent pair, though- I ordered the same model and waist size as the other two pairs in my closet, which fit like a glove, but ordered regulars instead of longs. I couldn't get the buttons within an inch of each other! I thought I'd somehow become obese in the week since I'd worn my old ones, but they were only slightly more snug than usual when I put them back on to check. I don't know how a waist size measured in inches can vary to that degree- but I still love the jeans enough that I'm exchanging them for a couple sizes up.

Great fitting jeans. Feel good on. Thicker denim for outside wear. Great from front and side, however.....I thought thought the rear view should be sat upon (as intended). A longer shirt possibly would be the proper fix for me. Y'all are great, Zappos. Thx, PB

Love the stitching and the thickness of the material, but the legs are huge. Have decided to keep them and see how they are after a wash and dry but probably won't order the boot cuts again.

Item listed as low rise when using limiters from zappos when item arrives clearly marked mid rise on product. If you want a mid rise jean then this is your product but its true mid rise NOT low rise as advertised. All stars lost on comfort due to the lack of a low rise product. If they are mid-rise only then you need to remove them from the tag "low rise".

Super heavy weighted jeans, sized at least 1 - 1.5 sizes too big and even the Short length is way too long for me at 5'0. I am 160 pounds and ordered the 32 but it is huge. Going to keep them and just wear them as looses barn jeans/cut them for shorts.

the photos do not match the jeans. There is a nice little cut out or slit in the photos that aren't on the jeans

I have now bought two pairs of this style of jeans. One in 27 regular and the other in 27 long. I am 5"5' and 140 pounds with more of an athletic built. The regular length ones that i have are a perfect length, but when im riding i like a longer jean or i bought them in long too. The longs are very very long, probably about 4 inches longer then the regulars. Over all they fit about the same, but the washes on them are completely differently. The longs that i have are true to the picture in color. The regulard are more of a medium wash jean. Expect them to shrink a little bit in the wash. I like this style of jean because they are durable, i can bend up and down without wearing a built and withut having to pull my jeans up. They are a great jean even though there are some inconsistancies in the product.

I wanted to like these. But they are not low rise as the description says. They are actually mid rise, and not 8". I also found that they run big. Going to return. But for those who are looking for low rise...try the Isabel or Julia cut. Got those at a local store in a size smaller and they were perfect for me!

Bought 2 pairs of these in years past and was in love, they were my favorite go to jean. But the last pair that I tried on the fit had changed. The legs are now HUGE and are more of a trouser fit than anything. If you can find some in stores that still have the riding slit on the side of the pants then those will fit like everyone raves about. Any of the newer version from the past year have to big of a leg.

It makes me so sad considering they are my favorite pair but, I still cant find a pair of jeans that are cut for women that can keep up with life haha Hands down the best riding jean but, dont ride too much in them.

I bought two of the same pair. Totally different size even though the label say they are the same size. I also had the zipper break in one pair so now trying one more time to see if the sizing is ok ....I do like the way they fit at least the first pair I bought that now has the broken zipper .

I bought these jeans the material is not the same as my other Real Riding jeans they do not have as much give, I usually by 31 long these I should have got a 32 or 33. I don't like them as much as my others.

I got a 34 regular as I had another pair I got at boot barn. This style is about 2" too long but fits great through the hips and legs just length is long. If you want this pair and think you are a regular better get a short. I'm 5'6" so average height.
