Since the lining is fleece it sticks to the sleeves of the garment you wear under it.

This is a repeat purchase of the sweater fleece in gray as I was very pleased with the quality, construction, and color. It is slightly fitted and falls to mid-thigh to provide adequate coverage and give a slimming effect for my pear shaped figure. It is my go to jacket for walking the dog and quick trips to the store. I purchased another in black, and although I was pleased with the fit, I was disappointed that the fabric pilled on the arms and cuffs after only a few wears and the zipper was difficult to use. I am unsure if there is variation in the materials used for different color products or if it was just a fluke, but after contacting customer service, I was able to return it for a full refund.

Love the weight and length of this coat. Wanted something to wear on cold days that would be long enough to go over a tunic length sweater. I bought my regular size and had to exchange it for a larger size. It is fitted on the top so if you have a big bust you would want to go up a size. Plenty roomy on the bottom. Have worn in 30 degree weather and it keeps me warm running in and out of the car and stores.

Warm and cozy long sweater, only wish it were longer in length.

Love the long length!Comfy warm and good fit. The only problem I have is the sleeve lining holds on to a sweater or fleece shirt so it's a little hard to get off. Smooth fabric shirts are fine.

When I saw it on the website, I loved how it looked on the model, unfortunately doesn't look as good on me. Had to return it

Warm sweater that is great to use in chilly weather. Fit is great and wears well. Only downside was after 1 week the zipper on the pocket broke even though I didn't use it. That was a little disappointing. Otherwise a great buy.

Well made but runs snug. I am 5'6" about 155 and usually buy medium. I went with large to layer a sweater under it but even a large was too tight. Otherwise it was well made.

I like that this coat is warm without being bulky, I still feel like I can move.

I like this jacket and it is warm, but getting it on is at times a struggle. The sleeves make it difficult to get on over a long sleeve shirt, and I haven't tried it with a sweater. I wind up with the sleeves of the t-shirt up over my elbows, and it is difficult to get them down. Maybe this is due to the size being a 3x? I am going to try and fix it myself so that I can wear it more often and more comfortably.

Nicely made and warm. I would have given it 5 stars if they would have finished the bottom on the interior pocket to make it usable. The side zip pockets are large enough to hold my phone, but would have preferred an interior pocket for this. I'm 5'3" 107 lbs; I ordered a Petite Small which works great for wearing sweaters underneath and the length is perfect.

I bought this to replace one that was so old I couldn't zip it anymore. I love the style, length and warmth. It's just right for fall. The only difference between the old one and the new one is the flannel on my old one was outside and the new one is inside. I prefer the old one. Flannel is not easy to get on when the top I am wearing is flannel also. It won't stop me from wearing it, just have to work harder to get it on sometimes.

Runs small. I had to order up 2 sizes. I have 2 long vests that still fit perfect and are a Large. I had to return and ordered a 2X. I will have to roll the sleeves up. Otherwise, fit is perfect. I love all the zipper pockets.

This coat is a nice style however, I feel that the zipper can stick a bit. The zipper is also a little awkward because the pull is on the left side and not the right side as is on all other jackets and hoodies I have.

I gave it a 4/5 because it fits little tight up top and loose at the bottom. So if you have a bigger chest, maybe size up but then you'll have a bigger flap at the bottom.

Made well, like that it is fitted, like the zipper pocket on upper sleeve, nice hood and tunic length. I purchased it in black and just traveled with it and was perfect

I absolutely love my sweater fleece coat! Have worn it constantly since it arrived. Warm and snuggly, it dresses up and down. The 2 way zipper is a handy feature, just wish it was a bit easier to get it started on its track. I ordered the blackthis is not a true black, it's a charcoal color. Fine with me, but if you're looking for a real black, don't order! I haven't washed it yet so can't report on how it comes through that process. Overall, this was good bang for my buck!

Have worn this jacket several times and received compliments (including from hubby :)! This fits well and looks especially sharp zipped up to the top. (No issues with the zipper being uncomfortable under my chin either). I wanted a jacket this length for weather that isn't super cold. The blue is a very pretty shade. I haven't needed to launder it yet so I don't know about the "pilling" some reviewers have noted. The pockets . are fine. Yes they're silky/thin so I will only only be putting my hands in them, not keys or heavy objects. I've had no problem getting the jacket on/off with the inside being fleece. (?!). Overall I love it, and only gave it 4 stars bc the sleeve length could be a tiny bit longer to suit me. (I normally wear a size Small but am glad I got the medium bc of that). Also a Small would have a little less fabric I assume in stomach area which I'd like so that it would be even more "fitted", but it's still attractive as a little-bit-roomier Medium. For reference I'm 5'6", 130lbs. Very happy with the purchase and expect to get several years wear out of this jacket. I feel "just enough" "dressed up" in it, as opposed to throwing on a sweatshirt for errands, etc.

Warm and easy to wear. Comfortable and versatile. Would recommend.

I bought this as a gift for my Mother and as she was trying it on for the first time the zipper came right off and flew across the room. I like to buy nice things for gifts and this was a little embarrassing. It appears the box pin was just slipped onto end of the tape and never machine joined. Comparing the zipper to the one on my own identical coat I see no machine marks on the box pin. This is my second time returning defective clothing items to LL Bean this year which is disappointing. I started shopping here with the perception of a little bit better quality. It is a wonderful coat otherwise.

I wish LLBean had a tall option, because that probably would have fit perfect. The arm length is a few inches too short, but not bad enough that I would want to return it. It's so comfortable and warm!

This seems like a quality warm coat but it just wasn't what I was looking for.
