I had ordered a popular brand only to return it after I saw LL Bean had a similar option that had a hood. This is a warm cozy, dependable yet light weight option. Perfect to keep you warm even on a windy day. The fit is great with a longer length and quality that you expect from this company. Love love it.

I did really like the fleece coat, thought it was well made, and would be warm and very comfortable. Unfortunately, the Size Small was a little too snug, and the Size Medium looked way too big. I had to return both items.

Have not worn this yet because I have to return it for the next size up. Quality seems excellent for the price,nice,warm,and lightweight.

This is a great jacket that fills the gap between heavy outerwear and shorter workout jackets that don't cover the backside. I ordered the S based on reviews and had to return it for an XS. The S runs like a size 6/8 and the XS like a 4. I am 5'8" 126 lbs with a slim torso and the XS fits wonderfully, loose enough for comfort but not baggy (I don't wear it over anything heavier than a long sleeve top because it is so toasty and warm on it's own). The length is perfect, hitting the leg at fingertip. My 25 yr-old daughter even commented on what a nice fit and good length it is. The purple color is actually a rich blue and very nice. This will be a go-to for years to come as it is sturdy and well made.

Just received this in the heather gray color. It's great for crisp fall days, but by no means would I wear this as a winter jacket alone. It's more a layering type long fleecy sweater. Perfect with a turtleneck or long sleeve thermal underneath. I am 5'5" 147 lbs. and a very full 36C. I ordered the size Large and it fit perfectly, either with or without a long sleeve garment underneath. I am thrilled with the cut and shape of this. I feel like I can probably wear a thicker long sleeve top under it and still have the room for it. I know some of the review say it runs small but I would say it runs true to size. I can take a M or L in jackets depending on the brand and if I had gotten the Xl I would have had to return it. I think I'm going to buy another in the blue-purple color. So happy with this!

I just bought this coat last month and I. LOVE. IT. I plan what I'm wearing around this coat. I have this coat on right now, as I type this. I don't want to take it off. Plain and simple. It's feminine, comfy, warm, cozy and just perfect. Fall is happening here in Alaska and it's perfect for this time of year. I wore it 24/7 camping a couple weekends ago and also love it for everyday wear. And kudos to LL Bean's customer service. The one I received has an unsewen seam in the right pocket which is a bummer. I didn't want to send this coat back because I love it so much so they have one en route to me, and I can return my damaged one when the new one arrives.

Great sweater but it was too small. I reordered immediately but it was already out of stock. It was super comfy just too small.

I have 2 of these and love them for the fit! They are a perfect length for me in a Petite XS size! PLEASE bring back the colors you once had them in!

I absolutely love this jacket! Just the other day, however, I noticed that the zipper on one of the pockets broke. I wanted to replace it, but now they are out of my size! I'm so bummed that it broke, only after just a few of wears! I'm keeping the jacket because I love it that much and hopefully I can fix the zipper.

Fits snug with clothes. Looks good with leggings or slim pants. The material isn't soft and is a little scratchy to me, otherwise it would have gotten 5 stars. I am not quite 5'4" and am plump right now so the Petite M fits me fine. I like the length as it covers the booty.

I've recently lost a lot of weight and figuring out sizes is problematic. My torso seems to now be XL, down from 2X. Yay for me, but it didn't work here. I bought a petite XL as I wanted to keep the sleeve length reasonable. Anyway, sadly it needs to go back,

I like the style and does look great over workout gear. It didn't get 5 stars because the material is rough, not soft. I wish more natural fibers were used. That said, it is great to throw on and go - and I might get another color.

Can't wait for the cold weather to come back so I can wear this more! The fuzzy warm inside with the tight knit outter shell is going to be great for watching my daughter play her fall sports. But again out of the two items I ordered the same size - this is the one that is a lilttle snug while the other ran a little bigger.

Several years ago I bought this jacket in brown. The quality was better back then but overall this is a nice jacket. Size runs a little tighter around the hips but the 2 way zipper is nice.

This is the second time I have bought this exact sweater coat because I love it so much and it's perfect for all kinds of weather. I had my first one for several years and it looks as good as the one I just bought again. BUT both coats are hard to zip up and the pocket zipper of the first one broke after a year. I had hoped they'd fix the issue but apparently not. If I didn't have to fight the zipper every time, it would have gotten a 5!!

I bought one and liked it so much, I bought another. I wear them all the time when it's not quite cold enough for down and not warm enough for just a sweater. The hood is nice when it's blowing or raining. All in all, I would buy a green one if they offered it.

I am 5'2 125 with very broad shoulders and an athletic build. I ordered this jacket in a small. I wound up sending this jacket back, as it was too small in the shoulders and arms. I have the mountain pile jacket in a medium to accommodate my shoulders and it is still a little restrictive in the shoulders but very large around the waist. I really like the llbean products but have pretty much given up on their tops and jackets for this reason. I have read other reviews that have said similar things. Their mens smalls fit me really well lol!

Overall satisfied with this jacket. I purchased a regular medium and it is slightly smaller than the petite medium that I bought several years ago.

I have purchased this sweater coat in both the gray and green. The gray one I purchased last year was of good quality, very versatile, slimming and stood up well to daily use. I was so pleased with my purchase that I purchased bought a green and a second gray one this year. I am happy with the green but unfortunately both pocket zippers of the gray one failed after a week of use so I returned it.

I love the material. This jacket hugs your curves, so if you have large bosoms you may want to consider sizing up (ex: M to L).

I have 2 Sweater fleece hooded jackets which I love. I just find the coat to be too bulky. It sticks to my pants and is hard to get into and out of the car. This style is just too confining for me, but it is good for somewone who prefers a longer coat. Nice, lightweight item.

Love this outerwear jacket. It's a little fitted so unless you are a more slender in build person you may want to try a different LLBean product

I thought this coat would be cute for my daughter and I was right. I love the contour. It hugs her body. It's light weight and perfect with some fingerless gloves and boots. Great coat for running around in mild weather.

I had this coat for a year and it was a little snug but I loved the zipper pockets and length. The one reason I gave up wearing it is that it attracts dog hair (I have a lab) and it's terrible to clean. It just clings to the fabric even with lint roller. I just gave up trying to get it off.
