I love my new long fleece sweater coat. I love the material it is so soft and comfy. It matches so many things because the color is a neutral oatmeal color. I would buy the gray one if was in stock. I hope LL Bean will continue to sell this product.

Beautiful "in between" seasons jacket. Purchased a large for my mom who is 5' 2", 140 lbs. it fits nicely - fitted without being too snug.

I order this sweater fleece coat in the lighter beige color and glad I did! This has become my favorite go to coat for walking and shopping in this cold NW winter. I'm 5'7", 133 lbs, and 74 years old. I ordered the medium and fits perfectly. I'd like to see more colors please!

This coat is good weight for most Mid-Atlantic regional weather. Nice length to cover longer sweaters. Love the sailcloth color for new year change from winter darks.

I love this coat. It is really warm and easy to pop on first thing in the morning to go out to put up the bird feeders when the weather is cold. The fit is regular and it washes easily.

I am 5'4 115lbs and ordered a small. I should have gotten xs but even then the coat is a bit shapeless. If you are curvy it's probably fine but for slender people a few darts at the waist would have made this a great coat. The quality is great but I look like I'm drowning in fabric so I will return for the jacket option in xs instead.

Really like this garment! I got purple and really like the color. Have been wearing as an outer layer: Great coverage for wearing with tunics. Great weight for fall's cool temperatures. Anticipate wearing indoors in winter and slipping on after runs and skis when I return to the car I'm 5'2" and ordered petite small. Fits really well. Can wear with a couple layers underneath (eg top and tunic).

I bought this in a size small. I have one in a shorter style which I have worn for years and love. This longer style is fabulous! I hope it wears as well as my shorter one which almost looks like new.

This was a replacement for one I bought about a year ago. The zipper broke and true to their policy was issued a Bean charge card with full price returned. So a second coat I bought because for me it's light weight, warm, with a hood if needed.

I got this extra large because it's super cozy and I didn't want it constricting me. It washes well. Will be buying another one soon.

It is hard to find a longer coat that is big enough for my boobs and hips but doesn't look like a box. This one fit the bill! Just wish all the new colors weren't so BLAH! Luckily, I got a d/c burgundy color. Brown is also warmer that appears on my computer, but I preferred the burgundy. I am 38 D, hips 41? I'd have needed the Large to layer bulky undergarments, but the Medium was fine for fall layering.

I love everything about this jacket...it fits great, is just the right weight (not to light or bulky), soft and comfy and I love the color. Every time I put it on I say "I love this jacket!"

I love this jacket! Sadly it is too small and there is not a larger size in black petite available so I will have to return. I will look for this again in the fall of 2020 and hopefully I can buy!

I live in Tennessee, so I rarely need a heavy winter coat. This is perfect for temps 60 to 40 (our usual Nov-Mar temps), maybe even cooler temps if worn over long sleeves or cold-hearty people. We southerners don't tolerate cold well. I also wear it to my son's hockey games as it is perfect for the 50ish temps in the rink and it covers my bum, keeping it warm on cold, metal bleachers. It's not bulky, but still cozy. No issues with pilling. I might buy another in a different color because I love it so much. I currently have the oatmeal color. I do wish the sleeves were a tad longer, as I'm 5'9" with long arms. They still come to my wrist, so absolutely fine, just a personal preference. Perhaps LL Bean could make it in a tall.

LOVE this. I bought three for Christmas presents. It's a trim fit. I'm normally an XS at LLbean but the S fits me well with room for a light sweater under. The fleece is surprisingly warm and the double zipper is key. Love the hood and that the pockets also zip. Only feedback is to maybe make the pocket bigger and/or add an interior chest pocket. It holds my iPhone5 in a case with room to spare, but I don't know that it would hold one of those giant ones.
