This coat is so warm and cozy and I can't wait to wear it. It looks beautiful and arrived just in time for the cold front this week. It folds up nicely to wear to events. It's flattering and a slight A line.

Awesome coat i bought my fianc for Christmas and she lives it. She typically wears a size 10 coat and i went with the large which fit snug. I would go XL if you plan to wear heavy clothes under it. The material and construction are everything you expdct from LL Bean and this price point.

Excellent purchase. Warm but not too heavy. Waterproof enough to wear in rain and snow walking around urban centers. Took to Europe and blended in nicely.

I always wanted a toggle coat so this year I splurged on this lovely coat. It is sewn with top level craftmanship and materials, very high end traditional looking. It is great to wear with jeans and riding boots. This little coat is something I reach for every time I go out into the cold PA winter weather. It has a soft lightweight wool construction that keeps me warm when I am out and about running errands. Don't hesitate if you want a coat that will look stylish and will be durable for many years to come. Great investment.

My boyfriend bought this coat for me as a gift for Christmas. This coat is beautiful made, quality all the way. Very very warm and has thinsulate technology. Very light weight and true to size. I read many reviews and some reviews were just plain, not valid complaints. The hook and eye closures are beautiful and functional. They aren't made of wood which makes them less likely to break and distort if made of wood. Hood is amazing and this coat is soft and not itchy at all. I looks fantastic on the body and is tailored nicely! The best coat I have has in many years. Love it!

The customer service person was very helpful when ordering this coat. My wife's size is a "small" and I was informed that coat comes in numerical sizes. The service person reviewed past orders and recommended that I order a size 6/8 coat. The recommendation was taken and the coat is wonderful and a perfect fit! My wife loves this coat. Following is her personal review: Warm without a lot of bulk. A classic look that goes with everything from a dress to jeans. I did have to order two sizes up, I don't like a "tight" fitting coat. My typical size seemed tight in the shoulders/chest. We live in NW lower Michigan and it gets cold and snowy here and I wanted a coat I could wear a sweater under. I am a very average build woman, wear a medium in all my other Bean clothes.

Beautiful coat but wifey just learned wool is too itchy for her. Unfortunately, we had to return it.

A unique, classy and well-made coat. I ordered petite and the sleeve length is perfect. To me the dark toggles on the navy blue look nice and not cheap. Fits tts.

Classic, will last forever LL Bean coat. So well made. This coat is heavy, warm. The side pockets sit flush no bulging. The rust color is just beautiful. After reading reviews i sized up and I am glad I did. You can't wear a big bulky sweater under this, it is more of a dress coat. The double zipper is a huge plus allowing adjustments when sitting or bending in the coat. The zipper is no mystery just make sure it is pushed down into both zipper heads. The leather accents on the toggle buttons give this a more lux look. A too agree wood toggles would be nicer but the plastic ones don't scream "cheap". The coating will likely wear and thats when the lifetime warranty come in. One improvement would be an inside pocket for security. Great coat.

I love this coat. In fact, I now have two of the same--one navy (just bought) and one plaid (have had for two years). They are the perfect weight for cold days. I like the longer-than-usual length; the bi-directional zipper is super convenient. It also has great, deep pockets, making it perfect for dog walking (treats, poop bags, phone, keys--it all fits). And it attractive enough to dress up a bit. The leather frogs are great if it's not cold enough to zip up. The LL Bean quality is exceptional. I am 5'4" and weigh 125 lbs. The 6 Reg fits well, with room for a t-shirt and sweater.

This coat is so toasty on chilly evenings, perfect for wearing into town and making even jeans look classy. The only downside is the sleeves are quite short but otherwise it is a great coat!

I purchased the hickory color & it is GORGEOUS! Perfect color for fall ... or anytime, really. This coat is delightfully soft & tailored just enough to look feminine while also accommodating curves. I'm a 12/14 & purchased the 12R. It fits like a glove with enough room to comfortably accommodate a sweater underneath. This coat is lined with Thinsulate, which I especially appreciate; super warm without being at all bulky. I am SO happy with this purchase (my 2nd LL Bean wool coat) & I look forward to wearing it for many years to come. It's perfect!

I bought this as a replacement coat for my wife. She has a chartreuse duffel coat and was trying to repair it. Finally I found this for her. It arrived several days after placing the order. It fits perfectly. It's a good value .Her other duffle coat is still in good condition.
