I really liked this Rosewood color in an LLBean catalog. I thought the coat would work well in color and style--I needed a longer coat with good pockets. I was disappointed that it is darker than Rosewood--I would call it burgundy. I probably would have kept it, except the sizing was off. The sleeves are too snug even with a short-sleeve shirt underneath, and it is also snug across the breast--I usually have no problems with a size Small. The body was a very good fit, roomy enough in the waist and the shoulders. So ordering a size bigger would not have worked, especially since the sleeve length would be way too long. So disappointed to return it! The workmanship was excellent, which is why I am rating it 3-stars, rather than 2.

I love the blue color and the shape of this coat, but I returned it. I ordered an extra large for a loose fit. The coat hung on my body like limp fabric. The lining in the sleeve was so tight any type of long sleeved top causes the sleeves roll. This coat would fit great on a very slim figured person.

The first purchase of this coat was a regular/medium. I'm just 95 lbs., so thought this size would be perfect. It wasn't. Returned for a regular/large. Will not return, but extremely tight in the shoulders and not the most comfortable, but will try it with a light-weight turtleneck.

I absolutely love this jacket, very warm for what it is, and the burnt raspberry color is beautiful. However I would love longer sleeves, please make in tall sizes. I will keep it, but really really wish the sleeves were longer.

The jacket looks different than the picture on line. It is not soft and the accent colors are grey not blue. I am disappointed. I will keep it to go to the grocery store etc. I do not like sending items back. I am a big fan of LL Bean but not with this jacket.

I wanted to like this coat which looked like it would be very warm; while that may be true, the style didn't do anything for me. I personally felt like I was wearing a bathrobe. With the snaps and no zipper, it would be inconvenient. I have a feeling it's better suited for younger people than I.

The Material was nice and was a good fit in the shoulders and arms but the waist was much too boxy for a midi jacket.

The seam on left side of coat at bottom does not lay flat. I am not happy after spending 140$. I will return it. I also don't think it is true to size. I normally wear small and med is tight I am 5'4" and weigh 114

I bought this for my wife and while she found it comfortable and the quality is good she didn't find it very flattering and she thought it made her look like a "fat bear". I had no comment on the matter

not what it appeared to be online. Our family has several different LL Bean fleeces. This one did not feel plush and cozy at all. Fabric was stiff and coarse. Also dimensions of coat were very strange. Body of the coat was enormous while arms were very tiny. I bought a size large because I wanted room underneath for layering. Body of coat seemed to be extra large while sleeves appeared to be a small (for tops I mostly wear mediums). I have really wanted a longer fleece that would cover my hips because I don't like how cold my lower body gets with shorter jackets (have a great coat for really cold weather but wanted a mid weight one) but i guess I will have to keep looking.

I recently purchased this coat. The sleeves were WAY too tight. Exchanged for a larger size, but sleeves are still uncomfortably tight. (My arms are average size!)

Recently purchased this coat in Large. I'm a true 10-12. Very tight for a large and sleeves are VERY tight. Can only wear with a thin top underneath.

Bought using an old gift card so may just keep for bike rides and yardwork and such but the fabric is incredibly cheap. Not fleecy or soft, very matted and smells like plastic right out of the bag. Recommend sizing up. I am 5 ft 5, 145lbs and sized up to a large and it fits over a bulky sweater. Length and lining are the only good things about this jacket.

Not flattering at all. I just returned the navy fleece today. It's cozy but it looks like a 130 dollar bathrobe. I wouldn't wear it out of the house.

Very disappointing fit. Ordered usual size but felt too tight overall, especially through the shoulder area. Sleeves were noticeably too long. I felt like Pillsberry Doughboy. Had to go back

I bought both the coat and the jacket for Christmas gifts but was disappointed when they arrived. The color was less bright than pictured and the fleece was more matted, making the coat appear worn and dirty. I sent them both back.

I did not like the feel of the sherpa fleece on this coat. It did not feel like other sherpa items I had purchased at LLBean.

I loved the color and look of this coat but the cut of the arms are narrow not leaving enough room for thicker sweaters underneath. The larger coat size was too bulky in the body. Ended up returning coat.

I have several jackets and coats from LLBean that I like but my biggest frustration is the inconsistency with their sizes. I ordered a medium, which I typically wear from LLBean, and this jacket was so small I could barely snap it shut. The sleeves were short and the hem around the waist was very unflattering. I think the only people this jacket would look good on would be very small, thin, and without hips.

Disappointed that sleeves were too tight! I really liked everything else about the coat.

I received this coat today and I was so disappointed. I tried it on over a thin sweater. The sleeves felt narrow and snug. I would not have been able to wear a thicker sweater. I could not snap the hip button. An extra large size on me is always roomy and I have never bought a larger size in a similar item. I am returning.

For me this wasn't a big hit since for me I felt like I was wearing a bathrobe. The color was nice and I think it would look very good on some people, just not me this time. I also didn't want to be doing snaps on so long a coat and wouldn't have worn it open.

It just didn't look or feel comfortable on me. Didn't like snap closures. Sleeves too long.

I ordered this jacket because I liked the longer length for a fleece jacket. While it fit well it was the most unflattering coat I've ever tried. Also, the color, as another reviewer noted, just looked dirty. I sent it back.
