Construction problem - I bought the black patent version. The sole of the right shoe separated from the upper. The shoes had never been wet, and they had not seen much wear; the sole is hardly scuffed. Since I was on a trip outside of the US, the failure was quite inconvenient. I did not think of calling Zappos when I returned. This is the only pair of Trotters I have ever had a structural problem with, though. I rather depend on Trotters because they make shoes in narrow sizes.

Good looking. I really liked - I really liked these. Very comfortable except on days when my feet were slightly swollen. I take a 10 1/2 so I was pleased to find something I liked so much in my size, but disappointed other colors were not available at the time I ordered the black.

New shoes - I developed blisters in the first three hours of wearing them and I doubt that I will wear them again.

Trotters Doris - Wish this shoe would have come in EE. Looks nice, comfortable...except I need it a little wider please!!

Functional - These shoes look okay, but they are pretty comfortable. I have decided to keep them for work. I think that I will be able to stay on my feet all day in these shoes. The shoes look a little matronly to me, but they are good enough.

Comfortable, but for toe box - These shoes have a beautiful color and are comfortable except for toe box. I should have listened to my mother when she said shoes should not pinch your feet or toes in any way. I now have arthritis in my left foot and toe. These shoes do pinch my toes and I can't imagine having to stand on them for very long. I would love for manufacturers to realize we need more toe room! Zappos is the absolute best. When I find a shoe that feels good I am going to order a pair in every color!!!

Though this shoe is not the most sophisticated looking shoe, I found it quite comfortable. I have it in black and now I am ordering it in white. Overall I am very pleased.

Trotters Doris - I really like the look and style of this shoe, comfort wise I was a little disappointed, could not wait to get them off after wearing to wedding. I had to buy the heel grips to put in them they seemed to slip up and down on my heel. Customer service was great they were here with in 2 days of my ordering them.

Good looking shoe - I bought this shoe in pearl white; beautiful color!! Really brought out the nice style of shoe. Unfortunately my feet looked like rising dough on top. I ordered the 9W but if felt like just an average size 9. I really liked them so I ordered the same shoe in a 9WW. I was disappointed again because it then felt like a size 10WW. Way too big all around and it flopped around like a kid in mother's shoes. Had to send these beauties back, just couldn't fit my foot with these.

Enjoying this shoe - Purchased the shoe in mocha, beautiful color, very comfortable just wish the toe was not so round, but that's my personal preference. If you purchase the shoe, you'll enjoy it too.

Nice shoe - I looked a long time to find a comfortable black pump that didn't look like a comfort shoe. This is a nice shoe and pretty comfortable. The backs rub my heels too much, but I think it will be okay after I break them in.

Nice Shoe, Kind of Fell Apart - I have the black patent leather shoe. Like all patent leather, it creases easily, but is nice and shiny. Very comfortable. I walk a mile to and from work each day; these are great for walking. However, half the rubber sole on one shoe completely ripped off after just a couple months. It's not like I go wake boarding in these things, so I'm not sure what happened.

Good dress shoe - I have very problematic feet, so it is probably them rather than the shoe that caused me to give a 4 rather than 5 star rating. I wore these pumps to a Christmas party and dressed them up with shoe clips, and they were pretty comfortable all evening--a big plus for a first-time wear. The shoe is well-made, stylish, and I like the look of the black micro fiber very much; a nice change from leather.

Trotter's Doris Is a Winner - It is difficult to find a nice looking pump for a wide foot size. This shoe looks great!

Black leather pumps - Nice shoes - nice basic black pump. Fast shipping always a plus, but this time they arrived as I was getting ready to go out. These shoes were a replacement for another shoe I have had for awhile that was not comfortable. I was thrilled to receive the new shoes and put them on my feet for our evening out - shoes arriving just 15 minutes before we walked out the door! For a first time wear - very comfortable. Thank you.

Comfortable shoe! I had to reorder one half size larger than what I normally wear, and once I did I was very happy.

The little heel - For this style of shoe, the shoe looks fine. Just wish I could still wear the really good looking ones!

Finally A Shoe To Fit My Weird Feet - After 3 surgeries, it is difficult to fit my very wide feet but Zappos makes it easy, I've found another pair of shoes I can wear!

Good fit, loads of comfort - Wearing a heel of any height and being comfortable presents a challenge for me. This shoe is perfect. I love its simplistic style because it can go to the office or a wedding. The leather is wonderfully soft. However, I generally wear a B width and found this fits better in a W. Thankfully I knew this before ordering. I have pairs in both navy and black.

Nice leather - They're a bit more "conservative looking" but very comfortable! I had to reorder 2 other pairs in order to find the right size for fit. They run narrow and snug in the toe area.

Good basic - I was able to wear the 8.5W 3 days in a row with only slight discomfort. Micro fiber wipes off OK. I like it and would get again.

Great Shoe - I really like the style of this shoe. It goes well with my casual clothes. I wear it mainly for business. The shoes felt comfortable after a few wearings.

Found the shoe very comfortable when having to be on my feet for long periods of time. A little bit wider than I would have thought - but at the end of the day they were great.

Not Quite as Good as Described - I was surprised that this shoe seemed snug on me after reading all of the reviews saying it felt great right from the start. It wasn't terrible but I was glad to get it off of my fee the minute I got home. Looks well made and good deal for the money.

Trotters Doris shoe I love it - The shoe is great looking comfortable except for the toe area being a bit narrow all in all a beautiful looking shoe that can be worn for dress or casual. Trotters is the only shoe that makes narrows over size 9 Thank you Trotters since I wear an 11 narrow I have many styles in Trotters.
