I bought these for a trip I had planned to Chicago. They're super cute but are not made for walking long distances. My feet and legs hurt so bad after a casual 10,000 city steps type of day. They kept my feet warm and they're comfortable until you actually use them for anything more than a run to the store or something.

Loved the look and the fit bit the sole was too stiff for my purposes so I sadly returned them.

I ordered the Icicle White size 10. It was beautiful and I like the features. However, it ran short and was extremely HEAVY. It would really make your legs tired in a very short time. Disappointedly I had to return them.

I love a cute lace-up boot with a zipper so you don't have to do the laces up every time. But it doesn't work with these boots. If I lace these all the way up I can't pull them on and off with the zipper down. I have to unlace the top two and loosen the rest of the laces. I also had to purchase new laces because they were too long and they kept coming undone. They had no grip so the bow/knot would slip out.

I normally wear a 9, and my feet run wide. Since these were lined, I ordered a 9.5. I bought these for my trip back to MN for the holidays, and was so disappointed at how tight they were. I thought of a 10, but they may bee too long. These are beautiful boots, great quality, I just wish they fit wider feet. I had to return them sadly.

The boots were attractive and well-made, but too tight around my ankles so I returned them.

I agree with the most recent reviewers about these boots running large - they are not true to size (TTS). I ordered my normal size (7) and these fit as if they are at least full size larger. Beautiful quality and very warm otherwise!

I have had wet seep in, making sock wet/moist. Also when boot is wet outside, it takes a LONG time for exterior to dry.

Unfortunately I have found these to be very stiff and heavy and not great hiking boots. Yes, very warm and good with grip on the snow but just can't seem to break them in and get comfortable. Overall not living up to other LLBean boots I've had. Disappointing.

Sole is very slippery on pavers, metal and plastic. Very disappointing and dangerous. I was not expecting that with this type sole. Cheap material not performing as expected

I really wanted to love these. They were sturdy, warm, comfortable, and nice looking. However, the side zippers would creep down about 1/2" even though the boots weren't tied very tight. This didn't look great and I could feel the zipper teeth rubbing on my ankle. I ended up returning the boots.

These boots were never delivered to me so i was never able to try them on.

I bought these a year ago and have only worn them a handful of times because they are quite uncomfortable. The worst feature is the zipper which keeps opening! I'm not sure if the zipper is malfunctioning but I'll zip it up all the way and after walking half a block the zipper is already halfway down. Obviously, the unzipped zipper prevents the shoes from being functional because they let in cold air and snow. The right shoe zipper seems to hold up more than the left shoe zipper but still partly unzips. I had heard great reviews about LL Bean boots but I am very disappointed with this purchase because the zipper won't stay up making them incredibly inconvenient and useless as winter boots.

I bought these to replace the LL Bean Women's Rugged Cozy Boots, Lace-Up, which I wore down. These are sadly not a worthy replacement. They are bigger, heavier, stiffer. They no longer have the vibram soles, and are slipping on snow and ice. They have caused pain in my left foot, even with several attempts to adjust the laces. Really uncomfortable and dissapointing.

For context, I purchased this on 12/4 and received it on 12/10, it's only been 8 days and the soles have started to wear out. I'm so disappointed as I pride LL Bean on their high quality materials. I use it for my morning walks, averaging from 3-5 miles (I am 5'3" 115 lbs), I did take it "out on the town" for a day or two and my feet paid the price. There's barely any sole support, there is fleece lining but it doesn't offer much. I will be returning this, so mad.

Disappointment doesn't even cover it. Purchased for usage in the rain and cobble stone.

It's too bad you never carry the boots or shoes I like in wide. You lose lots of business that way.

Short boot sizes run a little small. When ordering boots, you should order the next 1/2 size or full size up. Tall boot sizes are your normal every day foot size.

Tried 2 different pairs. These ran 2 inches bigger than all my other size 9 boots. Reviews said true to size. I was greatly disappointed! Customer service was helpful to send the second pair. But I HATE being charged to return things that are poorly sized.
