After so many returns trying to find the perfect winter everyday boot while off the slopes, these are PERFECT! Warm won't be an issue, great tread for rough and uneven walking. Good looking enough for in town. Full sheepskin fleece lined, soft and comfortable to my broken feet right out of the box. They look small and narrow (deceving) but they really fit perfect and felt great the first moment I put them on. I ordered 8.5 and normally order a wide so I can wear thick socks. These fit perfect with socks right out of the box. I am hard to fit and have foot problems along with very cold toes. I was afraid Zappos would send the boot Nazi out saying no more boots for you but instead I got the perfect pair of boots. Yes, they squeak on tile flooring but for this outdoors girl they are perfect! Thank you Zappos

You can't often say practical and stylish in the same sentence but these truly are! They look great with everything from llbean flannel tunics/ dresses to leggings and sweaters and jeans. The color-,soft sable/paper white goes with everything in my closet! They are very well made. Love the side zipper for easy removal. Has a rugged sole that will be great for snow and ice. I also love the lining. It is warm but not overly thick that your feet will sweat with all day war.

I wore these for 12 hours walking around Boston - no blisters and my feet weren't sore at all! Very warm too for 40-50 degree weather without being too hot. I sized down a half size. I typically am a 10 in most shoes but was more comfortable in 9.5 in these boots. I plan on buying them in every color! Love everything about these boots!

These boots were comfortable from the moment I put them on. I've worn them hiking, dog walking, and to town and they've been good for all occasions. They're perfectly warm too!

These are so nice and warm. They are cute to wear in the winter months. I got the white and really love them. Wish they were on sale, but I was able to use a birthday coupon on them. They are not good for walking distances and wear more like a boot. Great for around town and casual wear.I purchased the 8 and they were true to size.

If you live in a place with snow, you need this boot. We recently moved from a place without snow to a place with snow, and my husband insisted that my fashion boots would be insufficient. I balked at not-cute footwear, but he was right! These boots are warm, comfortable, and keep my feet dry in the biggest snow drifts!

My previous winter boots from all Bean that I had and used for 25 years finally separated at the sole. Thank goodness! My son and DIL got me these for Christmas. I am normally an 8 but needed a 7.5. They are so nice. They have the tie and a zipper. Would be difficult to pull on without loosening the tie but I bought and returned several boots And returned them as they are not anything close to the quality, comfort and warmth of these. I got the cream ones and very sharp.

I was surprised but happy with the speed with which I received the boots after ordering them. I waterproofed them prior to wearing them. The fit is wonderful and comfortable. I like the style and the addition of side zippers does make them much easier to put on and take off. The inclusion of a spare pair of boot laces is a nice touch, too. I must say that I've never had bad luck when choosing something from LL Bean.

I didn't think I could love any boots as much as my LL Bean boots, but I can. These Alpine Boots are a perfect fit, love the warm lining and side zipper that makes them so easy to take on and off. Another perfect fit.
