These leather boots are well made and heavy. They are a beautiful color. These are more for function than fashion. I have had no problem putting them on, or removing them.

These are lovely boots, but I wear a 7, and cannot wear a 7 in this style, sadly. They're too tight to add a good pair of socks, and really hard to get on/off. I would order up a whole size.

I tried to use a shoehorn for the first time in my life . . . I am using a shoe stretcher in the boot opening now. Once I have them on, I like them. Hopefully, the elastic will stretch out.

While this book was initially stiff, after wearing around the house for a week, they started to break in. I wore them all day on a cold day. My feet were comfie and warm. The brown color is a bit maroon. I was hoping for dark brown, but I can live with it.

I really wanted to love these boots. The construction is incredible and they really look high-quality. Unfortunately they were too narrow in the ankle/calf for me and I had to return them. They are definitely worth trying, I really wish they would've worked.

This boot is beautiful: coloring was gorgeous and it has smooth leather that you can just tell will stand the test of time. However, I very much need a wide size option. My feet hurt after walking about 10 feet in these. Maybe the leather would have accommodated my foot width eventually, but they are too expensive to rely on that. I returned them.

I really like these pull-on's, great for dog walking. I'm still breaking them I so a tad tight but I'm wearing thick wool socks cuz it's cold outside.

Size down! I'm usually a 7 but exchanged for a 6 1/2 and they're still roomy in the boot shaft. Overall I'm so happy that I have these. They're high quality and I can tell these will last me for years, much like all LL Bean products. I'm still breaking them in so they are a little uncomfortable in the heel area but with thick socks these it's fine.

Like these a lot, but didn't notice the LL Bean name branded in the back. Returning.

Lovely boots, but I have high arches, and so they are extremely difficult to get on and off and too tight around the arch.

Very cute and high quality boots for commuting then wearing in the office. The shaft can be a little tight.

Love the look, comfort of this boot..it does run loose, esp for those of us with narrow feet but overall,( wearing thicker socks helped a lot), really love these Chelseas and even ordered another pair in black.

Runs smaller in ankle gore area so try on with socks you will wear with them. Thick socks for cold weather thin for warmer walks

These boots are so cute and I love the brown color. I ordered my normal size (8.5) and also the next size up (9) because I thought I might want to wear them with my custom orthotics. Unfortunately there was not enough room for the orthotics (even with taking the removable insert out), so ended up keeping my regular size and using 3/4 inserts for arch support. I wore them for a few hours one day and unfortunately they rubbed in a spot that ended up aggravating an old tendon injury from 7+ years ago. At that time I hadn't narrowed the cause down to these boots, so tried them again and confirmed it was indeed the boots causing me problems. I will unfortunately be returning them. I am so grateful for LL Bean's return policy in this situation! I would recommend these for people who don't have existing ankle/foot issues for sure. They are a bit stiff and seem like they'd need time to be broken in. But they are really cute and functional and seem like great boots for someone besides me!

I couldn't get my old foot into the boot very easily... it was a struggle.. making me think I needed a boot with a zipper

Just received these today so I cannot comment (yet) about how they break in comfort wise. I have average arch and slightly wide feet and with the back loop was able to slip these on easily enough, though I do see it being more challenging if I were wearing a thicker and more textured sock. At first walk they do rub the back of my heel a bit, so I'm really hoping either thicker socks or breaking in will fix that. They're beautiful and I want to keep them, but only if they're truly comfortable.

Do these boots have good arch support?? I'm interested in this boot but need arch support!

I really like the way these boots look for a walkable everyday shoe that can be worn casual or to work, but the fit is a little tight on the top of my foot. The suede is stiff, so I would recommend going a half size up if you'd like to wear these with thicker socks and more comfort.

I bought this pair of Chelsea boots about a month ago and enjoy the look of the boots. They are difficult to pull on as well as off. I have checked my shoe sizing again and that seems to be correct. I was hoping they would break in and be easier to get on and off, but not as of yet. They are not an everyday shoe so I'm sure I need to give it a bit more time to stretch out get easier.

I love the look of these boots but I can't wear them a full day because they are so uncomfortable. The leather is very stiff.
