I volunteer at a trail head and often plan to hike before or after my shift. I typically wear leggings on those volunteer days. The skirt is great bc it keeps me warm and stylish while volunteering (pre or post hike ). I love the easy and modest way it zips on and off. It stores easily in my pack while I hike and doesn't add much weight. I never thought I would appreciate the skirt as much as I do!

Throw it on over long underwear and feel fully dressed. Comfortable with two great pockets. Adjustable waistband and stretch sides makes sizing easy. I purchased black and wear with everything.

This is a great winter skirt. I wear it with merino leggings for outdoor walks and hikes, indoors for comfort and coziness. I bought XL because I hate when things are too small but should have L, my regular size. Doesn't matter though.

I love this skirt. Looks great with leggings and is the perfect length. Kind of pricey, but still happy with purchase. I will wait for a coupon to buy another color.

Fits perfectly, doesn't make me look any fatter, and somehow kind of slimming. Wore it with leotards one cool night (it's still the end of summer right now here), and it was very comfortable.

This is a great quick layering piece. I'd say it easily makes me feel 10 degrees warmer just by insulating that core heat next to my body. It looks stylish over leggings rather than looking like I'm running around in longjohn bottoms. The pockets are useful and can fit a large iPhone, and there is an adjustable drawstring waist. I do make use of that. I normally am a size medium but sized up to large to have ample room and need to tighten the waist a bit. I probably could have stayed at medium because the side pocket panels have some stretch, but I feel like I have more room and flexibility with the large for activity and bending over without being "flashy".

Love it. I'm 5'0 and 118 lbs. Size S is just perfect with little space. I like the materials used and it's thick enough to cover my glute.

I like to hike in Leggings, but not all my leggings have pockets or are attractive on me hahaha. Having this skirt which has pockets allows me a place for my keys and phone and to cover my butt !

I previously bought the zippered version of this skirt, and although I loved it, it didn't have a pocket big enough for a phone. This one has pockets!! I use it for winter hiking over leggings and backpacking trips in the summer for this chilly mornings.

I wear it over baselayer bottom and absolutely love the design, length, stretchy sides, and spacious pockets! Pockets, pockets, pockets are essential. I love them so much that I got them in 2 different colors. Most unusual since I vowed to not buy new clothing 2 years ago and only upcycle, exchange, or thrift clothing.

I live in the northern USA and run all winter. I pair this skirt with insulated or regular leggings to keep my upper thighs warm on days below 20 degrees F. I can wear it for weeks in a row without washing and the wool dries fast and doesn't smell. The pockets keep my phone handy and safeand warm enough to keep the music going. Love this skirt, and have loved it for years.

Super cute skirt perfect for wearing on top of merino base layer so it doesn't look like I'm wearing underwear in public. Light, comfy. Medium is roomy for me.

Fits well, true to size. Not bulky. Have run while wearing it twice and hardly know I am wearing it. Pockets on the hip are too shallow to hold my cell phone securely. Overall met my needs and am happy with the skirt!

I wore this out for a hike over warm tights, temps around 40 degrees and it was perfect. The stretchy sides are great for ease of movement. I did buy a small for layering, but it is still a bit big. I wear a 2 in pants for reference.

I LOVE this skirt. It is my second insulated skirt (had to get a new one in a different size as my body has changed) and I will use it a ton this winter. I wear it for walking to work on chilly mornings in the Denver area, and under my ski pants for backcountry and resort skiing. It's short enough that it fits under my ski pants without bunching and keeps my butt warm on the chairlift!

Must say I’m extremely happy with this purchase!!! Fits well. I’m a 00 in most jeans and purchased the xs. Have high hopes it will help to keep me warm in the winter months.

Bought this skirt in XS for my sister for her birthday but I'm afraid it's going to be too big. Should fit according to size chart but she's a true 24"(waist)/34"(hips) so I may have to return it :-(

Love the pockets and have been looking for a quilted skirt. Unfortunately, it runs large. I typically wear a medium in Athleta products. Returning.

Worn once so far, and I didn't realize it had a drawstring. That should help. Pretty warm with leggings underneath. I waited til it was on sale to buy.

The skirt is cute, length and warmth good, and despite many comments that it's hard to get over hips, I had no trouble pulling it on and off. My ONLY complaint is that the side pockets stick out, making me look wide in the hip area, which I'm not. Maybe that's to accommodate wearers that are? If I keep it (still deciding), I'll have to take a tuck in the pockets to remedy this. Reviews on other sites have mentioned this as well.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
True to size. The waist band is not elastic. I had to pull the skirt over the head but it worked well. 155cm tall, 80kg, 100cm waist, 120cm hips. I bought a M. It fits tight but it fits. I am trying the L also
