I chose size small based on the measurements in the size chart. It's at least 5 cm too big. I have to cinch in the waistband tying a big knot to make it comfortable, when snowshoeing and skate skiing. Otherwise it is great!

it is a pinch too short and runs a little small. Otherwise a great skirt. looking fprward to backccountry ski in it.

usually 10/12 in bottoms, Medium in smartwool. A medium wouldn't go over my hips and the large is too big. But I'm keeping it because of the adjustable waist.

I have the smart loft skirt in Medium but it's a bit tight. I purchased the Large and it was so much bigger, it almost fell off. Unfortunately I had to return it. Please make the Medium just a little bigger or the Large a little smaller!

I am a XS in everything I wear. this skirt is too big. The pockets on the side stick out.

I got this in black and plan to wear over leggings often. I am now at an age where I can't pull off just wearing leggings as well as I used to, and I feel like I need a bit more coverage with some of the leggings I have. This is a great option for that, plus it adds an extra layer of warmth on cooler days, and I can still take it off and just wear the leggings if I get too warm (e.g., on a hike or something). It is very comfortable and versatile.

Perfect for Apres Ski or running around town. Great look and fit. Definitely a go to piece.. .

My new favorite winter outfit. I have this skirt in a large as well, in another color. Large fits over the top of my snow pants. Medium is comfortable snug with base layer leggings. I'm normally a size 10, sometimes a 12.

I normally Nordic ski in tights, and these are perfect for putting on overtop for adding some extra warmth before and especially after skiing! On my last trip it was snowing hard and I started to feel chilled almost as soon as I stopped skiing, so having this waiting in the car to put on as an extra layer was perfect.

I have seen this product around the studio and thought cute. I have used once and loved. Nice to feel covered up. I will try the zipper on next, in a fun color

It really makes a difference to slip on this skirt over tights - it's nice and cosy with the wind but not too hot - looks cute too. I had to size down. I'm 5'10" 160 lb and wear a 29 or 30 in denim. I usually wear a L in bottoms. I ordered the L first and returned for the M. I love all the colours but the black seemed most practical for an item I don't wear every single day - I'd try more colours if I wore it more often. It works great for running and I Love the pocket for my phone. Being as I"m tall, the skirt is quite abbreviated on me - like just below the top of my thighs abbreviated. An extra inch would not be a bad thing but it works well and I'm wearing tights anyway.

I love this skirt! I have a lot of pain in my hips in the cold weather and this skirt is perfect!

I've worn it a lot since getting the small. Brilliant design with stretchy side panels and 2 phone sized pockets. The only thing I would hope for is a little more flex in the front and back panels. But totally cute ski bum skirt and goes really well with the merino leggings.

This article is well made and fits nicely. Worn with leggings it makes a cute, warm outfit for the colder months. Great for casual wear.

I love this skirt for an extra layer to keep my upper legs and backside warmer when hiking and snowshoeing. It allows for freedom of movement with the flexible, stretchy side fabric and the side pockets give me a place to stash my mittens, hat, a snack, lip balm, etc. perfect layer over my Smartwool active leggings. The smooth fabric is also very conducive to butt sledding! ;)

I recently purchased this cute skirt in black for my daughter's 52nd birthday. She is extremely active at the gym as well as outdoors. She loved it so much that I purchased another for her in the mink color! It's very flattering with boots and tights. She looks adorable!

You can wear skirt alone or with warm leggings! So many different ways to make your own style!

This skirt has fantastic pockets. It stretches and moves with whatever I am doing. It is warm and comfortable, but also looks classy.

The mink color is beautiful! The skirt is so comfortable and flattering, and it has pockets!!

It fits true to size I ordered an extra large, but it was too big. Sent it back and got the large and it was perfect.
