I saw this vest in the almond color at Scheels and fell in love with the style, fit and color. I bought the matching merino wool long sleeve crew neck in the Almond Heather color and am very happy with it. For reference, I am 5'4", 124 lbs and wear a size small in most sizes. Bust 35", waist 30", hips 38". This is so cozy and comfortable to wear, too.

I'm a big smartwool base layer fan, and was looking for a core layer vest. I have tons of them, mainly puffers, from other makers, and none have a hood. This vest is genius! Not only does it fit my body great, has soft wool panels on the inside, but the hood is practical and well thought out with zipper that's offset under your chin so it doesn't hit you in the throat like most zip-ups do. Hood is generous fit but form fitting to keep the cold out. Smart smartwool! This is a lightweight but warm vest I can wear over anything, all year long, and I'm loving it. The light gray color goes with anything and styling is super flattering. Appreciate the two inner pockets to throw a phone or a pair of glasses inside, as well as a zip pocket on the interior to fit a few items. Well done!

Nice vest. Perfect for outdoor activities on cold days, like Nordic skiing or running - easy to move, thin and warm! Love the inner drop pocket for phone. Very comfortable and looks great.

LOVE IT! Bought 3 so far, I wear these constantly. They layer well and aren't too long for me.

Great fit, comfortable, stunning color, and layers well! I also appreciate the interior zipper pocket for my important items, such as keys, when I'm recreating and don't want to worry when using the main pockets.

I am very curvy in the hips so sizing can be challenging for me being a medium up top but needing a large to accommodate my hips. This vest works so well for me I now have it in two colors. The hood is perfect in design as it gives great coverage, fits perfectly, does not pull the whole vest up, and keeps my head and ears warm. Then, there's the pockets! All perfectly placed allowing me to carry a small wallet, keys, phone, and lip balm without funny lumps all about. Great on its own or for layering for this Chicago-based reviewer.

I have 4 of these in different colors. The fit is Perfect, not too short like other brands. You don't even notice you are wearing it as it's so light and comfortable. Keeps you warm on those in between temperature days! I have received so many compliments on it!

I work in Healthcare and wear my 3 vests all the time. Also great for traveling winter or summer on the plane!

I bought this to bring on the Camino de Santiago. Ultimately, I don't think a vest is the right option, but this is a very nice vest.

A good versatile staple in your daily, adventure, outing, or winter wardrobe! Wear over short or long sleeve, skirt, dress, leggings, or pants, open or closed. Already has the black vest; glad got this color too.

I wear this on the "warmer" cold days here in Minnesota. It is very comfortable and light but yet keeps your core warm.

Bought this to keep with me when hiking/camping - haven't used it yet in that sense yet but have worn it running errands. It is lightweight, comfy, warm, and it is stylish. I would normally buy a vest in a blue, green or red color, but I went with black so I can wear it over long sleeve shirts and under my jackets that are brigher colors.
