Bought this recently and wore during my trip to NYC and it was perfect. Even on urban walks. Love the no tie laces as it makes it much easier to take off shoes at the airport security too. Came back and went hiking on trails and it was just perfect for the terrain. And it's water resistant! It was raining in NYC and my feet were completely dry and not cold. Always loved my Salomon shoes. H this is my third pair.

Love walking my dog and shelter dogs and need a comfortable shoe that is waterproof. This is it! I love the zip ties (no more laces to tie). Would highly recommend!

Comfortable right out of the box. No break in required. Same great quality shoe that we have come to expect and appreciate.

I have these and the speed cross, I prefer the tread on these for everything except running on mtn trails in wet conditions.

Let's start by saying that I am in avid Solomon customer. They are my go-to company. Over the last few years I had been a bit more disappointed with the quality and design of the shoe. I am not alone - you can read reviews like mine elsewhere online. Something has changed and not for the better. Some of the styling changes that they have made to the X ultra have been less than ideal. My last pair I returned because the heel of the shoe blew out (see pictures) within a year or so. I was reminded of the warranty program that Solomon has and decided to write in. The process was relatively simple. We had just a couple emails back and forth. Thank goodness I had purchased my shoes online so that I still did have a receipt because without that I wouldn't have had any options. They do ask for a number of photos of the shoe from all different angles including the inside of the tongue where details were almost unreadable. I received a credit to purchase a new pair of Solomon's at approximately 85 to 90% of the original value of the shoe that I had purchased. The credit can only be used for a purchase made through the Solomon website. I chose the XA pro 3D. Another Gore-Tex product. I am an absolute lover of the shoelace system!! I have seen others who have written reviews that don't like this system but I have no idea why! It's fast and easy and tucks away the laces so I'm never having to stop and tie my shoelaces. The overall shoe design is lovely and makes my foot look narrower than others in the past. So we'll see how the new pair last but based on the warranty system they have in place I feel very comfortable with remaining a loyal Solomon customer.

I love these shoes. The fit is perfect to my size 61/2. I've always loved the speedy zip up feature of some Solomon shoes. The gore tex fabric is a buying point to me.

This is by far the best, supportive, high quality shoe I have found so far. I have tried other popular brands and they can't even compare. True to size and great design!

I tested these in sand, on rocks, on rocky gravel and super dry sandy hills. They've been solid, comfortable, supportive and honestly have the best vibe and colour combo I've ever had in a hiking shoe. Big win. Haven't tested in rainy or muddy conditions yet, but the sole has outperformed most of my other pairs so far, so i have high hopes.

These were a replacement for my Ultra 4's which were OK but the XA Pro are definitely an upgrade both in terms of look and function. Comfortable from the get go love them.

This is the finest trail shoe I have ever owned. I always buy Salomon for my trail shoe, but the fit and quality makes me think about ordering another pair to keep as spare. PLEASE don't change this shoe.

I have been wearing these for about month and all the other shoes are staying at rest as these are really great to wear, comfort and the traction is really amazing, get real grip while walking on rocks and trails. My feet table is quite wide and fit is just perfect.

I bought this shoe about a month ago for everyday use. I am not a runner but walk at least 5km every day. I find they are very comfortable and provide me support I need

Probably the best trail sports shoe I've ever owned. Delighted with the fit, quality and comfort of this new shoe. My feet are comfortable from the moment I put them on, throughout the time of use regardless of time spent in them to the moment I take them off. As an ex triathlete and marathon runner, these are the best shoes I've ever owned.

I am so pleased with my new shoes. The fit is perfect! I have always ordered a size 6 and this shoe fit just right. I love the design and quality too. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.

I searched far and wide for a shoe that was technical on the trail and sleek on the streets. I needed a packable shoe for hiking Madeira, Portugal, but also something that would look sharp with cute fits. This was 100% it. They weathered mud and waterfalls, they felt light running trails, they were super cute going out with jeans and cute top very versatile. I try not to wear them all the time because I want them to last. But I love them! They withstood the hot cobblestones of Portugal in the summer (grip didnt wear down like other sneakers). And I just took them to slightly snowy Sequoia still functional! I am a true 7.5 and this was just right with a bit of room in toe box for downhill.

I have had many Salomon shoes in the past, the fit is perfect, this model is great for dirst and city, love the color palette too

I have been wearing Salomon running/hiking shoes for about 5 years now. I purchased my first pair during the pandemic when everything was closed. This is my 5th pair and second in this style. I purchased them in black for work and they are a perfect choice. The sole grip is perfect and I have heel spurs. So, the heel gives me enough support and lift that it is much easier to walk. I love these shoes and would recommend them 100%.

These shoes are very comfortable and lightweight. They have good traction and are true to size.

I bought it in Black color and My feet are size 5, but I bought size 6 ,it fits well and walked so comfortable, the shoes are looking beautiful and cool I love it . Thank you Salomon !

Bought these for everyday wear, fit perfect, true to size. Comfortable for 14 hr a day wear.

Fit is very good and gore-tex helps for hiking in colder, damp conditions.
