Wide toe box with plenty of room to accommodate an orthotic, dueling foot issues with plantar fasciitis and neuroma. Wear them daily for HIIT and kickboxing classes. Takes about a week or two to find your footing with these shoes, but now I will not wear anything else. Please keep making the Paradigm and make them in more colors with colorful soles! Love Altra shoes

Great walking shoes. Great for high arch yet zero level shoe. Only fault is material is a little too thin.

I wouldn't say that I have a wide toe box, really I just have shorter toes so I end up having to buy 8.5s to get shoes to hit the balls of my feet right which puts me in too large of a shoe and prone to stubbing the toe! These are so perfect I was actually able to buy my size with no issues. Not a fan of the super chunky shoes that are in right now and these feel light on your feet but with good support. Super comfortable for long walks and road runs. Will be buying other colors soon!

I am so happy to find a women's wide in this shoe and even in a pretty color! I previously purchased men's Alta's but grew tired of the color choices. I love the new laces and the shoe itself is wonderful!!!

I can't say enough good things about this sneaker. After having daily pain in my feet for years, I am actually pain-free and I NEVER thought I'd be able to say that.

At the Mouse. Other shoes in same price range left me with half a dozen blisters and aches and pains Feet felt great after walking and standing from park open to close. No blisters. Yes I guess at 65 I do need theraputic shoes. But I'm in love.

I love these so much that I bought a second pair to alternate during my half marathon training. I love the guardrail and overall support this shoe provides! Altra is my go-to for all my activities and even use the FWD Experience shoes for work since I walk MILES every day as a Physical Therapist. Highly recommend these shoes.

Three years ago I injured my ankle on a trail. I've tried PT, chiro, and everything else. My first time in these shoes and I have ZERO pain for the first time 3 years. Are they magical? Perhaps..

These are my first pair of Altras. Now 200 miles in, and about ready to order my next pair. The zero drop is a game changer for my tendinitis and the wide toe box is unmatched. Only change I like would be longer laces.

Can't say enough how much I love these. I've tried a few different Brooks sneakers previously (Ghost, Levitate, etc.) in various sizes and always had issues with knee and foot pain and losing toenails. I don't have any of those issues with these. I've put a good amount of miles in them and still have all my toenails and zero pain. The large toe box has definitely helped a lot with this. The zero drop did take some getting used to in the beginning but after a few runs in them I couldn't go back to the Brooks. I'm glad I didn't read reviews prior to purchasing these and bought them based on the recommendation from my local running store. The negative reviews about the changes from the paradigm 6 likely would have deterred me. I'm very happy with these but would love to have tried the 6. Hopefully the next version will be a good mix of the two!

These shoes have been a game changer for me. I have tailors bunions so I have been wearing toe spacers in my shoes & it is so nice to have a pair of shoes that are comfortable in the toe box. I've put a lot if miles into these shoes & am so happy with my purchase. Thank you!!!

Recent reviews said Paradigm 7s were tighter in the toe box & too firm in the foot bed. I wore my new Paradigm 7 today for the first time & found them to be as comfortable as in the past. Love them!

Perfect pair of shoes. I had Morton aroma surgery. These shoes have a square box in the toe area. That makes it where your feet feel more natural. I wouldn't change for nothing.

These shoes are so great! Very comfortable, very light, just amazing. I never thought I'd like a shoe so much especially after having bunion surgery. These shoes have been a lifesaver and are my go to. Can't wait to start running again after I heal a little more. The wide toe box in the shoe is perfect and the cushion is just right. Excellent shoe.

I ran in the 3rd version of this shoe. I wasn't keen on it then but trying it for a second time. I definitely like this version better than the 3. The overall comfort and roominess is what keeps me interested. I love the foot shape toe box but even the heel cup is roomier than the 3rd version.

I walk just about every day for exercise, and I've been wearing Altra styles for 6 years. After 3 weeks, I'm happy to say that the changes from Paradigm 6 to Paradigm 7 work for me. I like the closer-fitting upper, and the toe box is still wide enough to not aggravate my Morton's neuroma. The firmer cushioning is fine. I ordered two different colors. The black fabric is more like very dark green than true black, but in my opinion, it's dark enough. I like the blue and red color accents on the white pair.

I was directed to purchase these by my orthotist. I was reluctant, but I finally did and now I'm a believer. My feet have not felt this good in a long time and I'm especially pleased with the durability of the materials. I am hoping the company will soon make a waterproof shoe.
