This is my third Atom Hoody. They're the best - a key layering component for active athletes.

I wear this nearly every day during the fall/winter. Extremely comfortable, breathable, and wearable in various contexts.
Works underneath an outer shell for snowboarding or by itself in brisk weather out in the US Northeast area. Ive even slept in it with no issue of overheating. Highly recommend.

I'm 5'10 235 lb 35in sleeve 41in waist. I purchased an extra large. The sleeve length is good there's not too much extra length. Waist of the jacket has about 2in of room largely due to the fleece side flex. I only wear a t-shirt under this. I would recommend this jacket current temperature, 28 f and upwards if there is no adverse weather. I recently bought this to wear from the car to the bar and to not overheat inside. Ive worn it all day inside my house without overheatin and on 1-2 miles walks outside from 28 to 48 degrees Fahrenheit. I dont recommend it for colder as i took a walk when it was 32 with 15 to 25 knot winds and The hood and the rest of the jacket held up but i was cold because the side panels let in too much air. In my opinion they should have limited these more to the underarm and not the whole body length. The overall manufacturing is ok. I'm not a fan of Arcteryx insulated jackets overall as i think the assembly and stitching leaves much to be desired.

I bought this a few weeks ago and it works well. The size is a little bigger than I wanted. I wish I wouldve gotten it in a smaller size

The Atom LT (now just Atom) jacket is my go to jacket! Keeps warm up to 40F. It's light, comfortable, breathable on trail, and works for about everything! Just wish it was packable.

Wonderful, well made, warm. Slightly baggy in the arms which I would prefer to be more fitted. The discrepancy between M and L is huge, and I always had issues with finding the right size. I am 5’11” 173lb and the Medium is tight, Large too big.

I purchased this jacket for my son, and after the first where it ripped in the middle of the chest. I contacted Arcteryx and was told all they would do is send me TAPE. What awful quality and even worse customer service. I will not buy from this company again. I should have read more reviews as the complaint of lack of quality seems very prevalent.

Purchased this online after trying on a different colour at the store. What a great, lightweight jacket - keeps me warm down to 5 Celsius with just a tshirt underneath. And the yellow/orange colour is amazing - great visibility for early morning or late evening walks with the dog.

I own alot of Arcteryx products including Atoms, Protons and Nuclei. I'm trying hard to find a WHITE jacket and had hoped this would be the one but no dice. Arteryx - please expand your product line to include White! Thank You.

Not surprising, but this jacket is fantastic. The perfect weight to wear on its own when its cool out or to layer for colder days.

Just got it a week ago and this is my second one. My other has no hood and I us it under my motorcycle gear.
I dont know how this thing works but its like as if it adapts to your heat requirements. Cant go back once youve tried it.

As per, an amazing jacket. Not even sure thats quite the right term, but in any case, this one is now my current fave, third style of Atom, and surely not the last! All excellent and for different roles.

First time owning an Arcteryx mid-layer, and Im quite pleased. The Atom hoody is warm and comfy without the bulk. Ive only had it a couple of weeks so far, and havent got to test it out in the elements yet, but Im looking forward to it!

I finally saved enough to purchase the jacket in the colour I wanted. But when it came it was too small to layer over my nuclei vest. I went to the store and was refused an exchange because of the discount I used to buy it. So I had to return it. Very disappointed.

Ive owned 3 Atom Hoodys and once I found it I never went back to other mid layers. Fits perfectly with a helmet on, roomy enough for multiple base layers, and trim enough for multiple layers on top

This is the undisputed industry leader in lightweight layering and versatility. High performer from backcountry to town, travel, and beyond. Fits great and drapes beautifully. Stylish under a flannel or a Barbour but Ive been silently enduring a major design flaw for years. The colors are unworkable . Year after year after year. I own two of these and would buy a new one every year to flesh out my wardrobe, but you need to rethink your palette. You need to Blanket Shirt this thing. A wider range of colors is needed. Make sure there is always a choice of three colors to go with a few fashion brands including standard shackets by Outerknown, Filson, Pendleton and even a Barbour. There should always be two neutrals on offer (one warm, one cool), a range of blacks/greys, and a midnight blue (mine is Kingfisher), and an understated earth tone option every season (think chocolate smoke) for layering under a flannel. Keep one signal color per season and probably you need to add a tactical color, but keep it down low and change it once a year. I am literally tired of only being able to buy one of these every two or three years because the colors dont work with street wear. When Im in the mountains or on the water, theres nothing that works better and I dont give a hoot what color it is for backcountry try use. Start focusing on fashion please.
I gave this advice, as a Patagoniac, to the design team at your main competitor. They ignored my advice and now they are being buried by sustainable fashion brands that have learned to craft performance pieces that actually look good on the street in London Paris or Milan. ArcTeryx is the king of technical pieces. Play it smart and you will stop driving loyalists like me away with your weird colors.

Borrowed this coat from a relative and loved it so much, I went and bought one. It is extremely versatile, comfortable and warm. I had hesitated because of the price, but I've already worn it more than my other jackets.

This jacket is everything as great as everyone says it is. Outer is malleable yet durable, worn this jacket primarily for the last year and there are no signs of wear and tear. Surprising temperature range, worn comfortably standing around in a t-shirt in 32F weather with relatively high humidity. Overall design is fantastic, zipper is easy to actuate, fleece lined pockets add a little more comfort and warmth, hood has good coverage. Fit is fantastic, Im 63 and 155lbs and bought a size large. I have a little room to mess with layers. Great from both a casual and technical standpoint. I use it for everything, general use, skiing, hiking, backpacking, fly fishing, and others I cant think of. Its my favorite jacket bar none.

This is my third Atom hoody(atom Lt) since 2018. I use it as an insulation layer and top jacket during different activities or just as a daily jacket. Love them
