I have just bought my second Cerium Hoody. For me its the best down jacket, because it is really lightweight, very packable and at the same time very warm too. The qualitiy is also very good, as you would expect from such a price.

Super lightweight but really warm, the best of both worlds for me when I need that extra insulation of warmth.

Great Fit and excellent style. Wish the zipper was a little more robust. Fits great under my shell without looking bulky. Like that it is longer at the back for when sitting on a chair lift.

I bought this jacket last winter and wore it all winter. For Vancouver, this jacket is just right as the outer layer.
The hood is too big for me, even with an adjuster. The hood blocks my view when I turn my head. Obviously, this hood is designed to be compatible with helmets, but it loses the comfort in most situations.

Great mid layer. I wish it did not have the hood. I will probably pay to have it altered. Other than that I am very happy with it. If it's a mid layer and not a jacket why would you put a massive over Helmet hood on it?

This could be a really great coat. But, the zipper is really flimsy. It feel like its going to break any minute

I have the very first gen jacket, and then another jacket and hoody of more recent iterations the two recent gen (the hoody I ordered and received in Sept 23) are super fitted than my 1st gen. The hoody for some unknown reason lost a baffle worth of down around my left sleeve. Deadbird CS is excellent and I got a credit as replacement.

Great hoody with fantastic craftsmanship, materials, and warmth. Fit was just off for me, though, so I had to return. I'm a Large in all my other Arc'teryx jackets, but the Large here, with the "Fitted" fit, was way too tight in the armpits for me. For reference, I'm 6'1" 200 lbs. with a 42" chest, 33.5" waist, and longer arms (wingspan is 77").

I recently went on a 2 week Europe trip to London, Amsterdam, Berlin, and Prague during early Janurary and I was looking for a good lightweight jacket to keep me warm during the cold European winter days. After much research I decided to go with the Cerium hoody and I was not disappointed. The price was scary but after 2 weeks in 19-30F days this jacket shocked me. It is extremely lightweight, looks amazing, and is insanely warm for its size. On my trip I wore it every day and with only a shirt underneath, even on the 19F nights, and it always kept me warm. It is also very windproof. Being a pretty thin guy Im always looking for lightweight warm jackets that also look good and this is by far the best Ive had. Will definitely be buying more Arcteryx in the future!

Will give it a test drive this coming week. I loved the last one. I would like to see a much stronger loop on the stuff bag and a better anchoring of that loop. A fixed name/ contact info label with the other labels or attached to the stuff bag would be very useful or offer that as an option. You guessed it, the loop on my last one broke during a previous trip. I had contact info on one of the product labels, but it hasnt made it way back home in more than a month.

I bought the sprint color of this jacket during the black friday final sale. It is absolutely terrible experience. The product i received looks like has stains but actually it's coming from the down itself. But it look terrible, does not match their product pic at all. I contacted their customer service, and they claimed this is not a flawed product and do not accept return due to this is a final sale. (Fine, i do accepted the fact that final sale product cannot be returned) But the product I received do not match their picture at all!!! So disappointed on how they handle this.

Bought this jacket about two weeks ago. Everything is fine except the zipper is always detached from the lower end. And it is hard to unzip. Not such quality expected from Arcteryx.

The coat is great ans the colour is great The only draw back to these coats is the zippers the teeth are too small and the zipper tab is tiny its been an issue with this coat for years

An amazing jacket. Great fit, nice and comfortable. Perfect to wear on its own or as a underlaying for a cold day.

I recently purchased the Cerium Hoody in the Yukon/Relic color, size small. I'm 5'7" and weigh 140. The jacket has a trimmer fit that will easily accommodate a fleece mid layer while functioning as ideal insulation under a shell jacket for those frigid lift rides. The outer fabric seems more durable than past iterations (I own the Cerium SV Hoody and Cerium SL Hoody, both of which are no longer made). The only hang up I have is the color of the jacket material was not exactly as the online shop photos represent. The brown (Relic?) is just not quite as crisp dark brown as the model pictures would have you think. It seems slightly muted, if that makes sense. Otherwise, the jacket is the same top of the line Arcteryx style and construction you would expect for the price. I'm an Arcteryx super fan.

Ive been a long-time Arcteryx purchaser and Ive always wanted to add a Cerium hoody to the collection. Problem was the fit was never quite right. Now with the recently revised fit the jacket fits me much, much better. Contrary to whats is stated on the website about the large/XL being a bit more relaxed, I felt the large was a bit more snug (body weight hasnt changed) as is the XL. As such, the XL now fits much closer to the body but it certainly isnt restricting or boxy/loose. Fits me perfectly for wearing with a simple merino tee or a more substantial base/mid-layer. Additionally, I like the more substantial front zipper and the change to a 15D face fabric. Admittedly I havent had enough wear time to comment on durability but I believe the changes will lend nicely to the longevity of the garment. This is a great jacket and Ill wear it as a stand-alone or as a layer under a Zeta LT or a Beta.

Bought this jacket for my Everest base camp trek. It was exactly what I needed - very warm, comfortable, and easy to move in. It also comes with a stuff sack and can be packed small, which was perfect for a 12-day hike with limited space.
