This was a gift for my daughter. She loves it. The only thing I/she wished it had more pockets on the sides of the inside. Not a lot but at least one more to slip an iPad in.

Seems well made. I haven't had a chance to put it to the test on the beach or the boat, but I think it well do fine.

This is a great bag - very lightweight, foldable, and it has a nice zip top. It's a great alternative to the traditional boat tote. However, be careful of the measurements when you're buying online! I have an older version of this bag which I love & use every day, but I wanted to upgrade it to something slightly larger. I laid my bag out flat & measured it, then used those measurements to gauge which size I wanted to get. It turns out the measurements listed above aren't for the flat tote, they're actually for the standing/full version of the tote. So the bag I received was much larger than what I was expecting. They don't state how to measure anywhere in the item description. I would still recommend this bag, but just be careful about measuring before choosing a size!

I have several of these totes in different sizes. Sometimes the stitching on my newer ones is not as good as the stitching on my older ones, and the white stitching is more noticeable, but that isn't a dealbreaker for me. I use the newer lightweight totes though: the medium one I sometimes use as an everyday bag/purse to carry a book, umbrella, etc. The large and extra large ones I fold up to take on vacations to be used as beach/pool bags. I much prefer the older ones I have from years ago, which have sturdier fabric and several outer pockets (whereas these newer ones have only one outside pocket), as I miss the multiple outside pockets.

Great bag for the beach - lots of space, zippered interior pocket for keys and phones, sand brushes right off, easy to pack to take on vacations, durable so far.

The bag is great. I ordered wanted the bag with the long handle but received the regular handle. Other than that, it is roomy and lightweight.

Overall I love the tote. There was a small place where the zipper was ripped out straight out of the box. Not worth returning, but not expected from a company known for high quality

Bought this for my boyfriend. I think it'll make a good travel bag. It's a nice color

This bag seems to be very well made. It also looks great. I bought an XL and at first thought it was going to be too big but it has been working well on my trips to Lake Michigan. I really like the fact the whole bag zips. The only downside is the handles could be slightly longer for wearing over a shoulder. Great bag though!

Nice bag, well made, good capacity, and very light weight. I think it will be durable. It works well for my purposes: I got it carry my personal items to and from the golf course (wallet, range-finder, sunglasses, sunscreen, a clean shirt, etc.). I like that it has an internal zipper pocket and a key lanyard, although the lanyard might be more useful if it were in the main compartment, rather than in the zipper pocket. I do wish it came with a bottom stiffener, like some reusable grocery bags. I added one, cut from a piece of plastic "cardboard", and it makes it easier to separate objects in the bag when I'm searching for something. I like that the outside pocket will hold a water bottle, although I think that function would be better served by a pocket on the outside at one end. The fact that it zips closed is great: since it has no structure, being able to close it means that when it flops over, it doesn't empty itself all over the place. On the whole, very pleased.

I Love the bag. However, I just bought it and the treads on the seems are coming undone... I am hoping the bag will holds up.

This is an excellent, light weight bag and the size was generous but not too big. I do wish, however, that it had a strap across the back so that it could be slipped onto a raised luggage handle.

I bought this everyday lightweight tote in this early April and it was useful on my recent overseas trip. Above all, this bag was very lightweight and easy to carry around. I will try to use it useful on my next trip. Unfortunately, however, after only one trip, there is a hole in the bottom part. The material of the bag is very light and good, but I think it would be better to use a different material for the bottom part only. The color of this bag is very good and I was satisfied to other parts of this bag. Only the material of the bottom part was a problem.

I liked the fabric and size of the bag, but returned it because I needed more inner pockets.

Nice looking, quality tote bag at a good price. I haven't yet used it but expect it to perform well as is true for LLBean products!

People pay to advertise, isn't a review an advertisement? - shouldn't I get a discount or free shipping or something for my time and review? Good item but could be improved. Loops to attach shoulder straps and 2 way zipper would be an improvement. Used for grocery shopping on a scooter and works well (other than no shoulder strap a finicky zipper)

Great bag for toting snacks on our road trip! Purchased because it is machine washable. Only wish that the outer pocket could be larger and also zippered.

Good bag, good size, pricey. Good and durable for those quick grab n go shopping trips or hauling a small load pf goodies to and from grandma's house but same can be said about much less expensive bags

I like these bags I am having back pain and since I am always hauling things around this is better for my back

Much more lightweight than I thought..would have returned but it wasn't worth it . I did love the colors but honestly, for me this won't be useful for much since the bottom is unstructured. Struggling to find a purpose for this bag. My mistake sadly.

Nice tote bag - giving it 4 stars, not 5 because it does not stand up on its own - as the canvas bags do. I returned it for that reason, and because the olive color was more drab than I wanted.

This bag matches my other LLBean blue bags and I am able to overstuff it will all I need to travel with on extended trips. The bag itself is lighter weight and needs to be filled well with bulky items to maintain its shape, so is less suitable for smaller loads. Folds down nicely for storage or carrying along for supplemental use however.

The large is much larger than I anticipated and the orange color is more garish. I am disappointed since my second choice (which would have been my first had I known the true color of this tote) is no longer available.

I love this bag, but I rarely use it because the handle is not as comfortable as my other LL Bean tote bags to carry over the shoulder. LLBean - please consider offering this bag with a longer handle option as you have done for your canvas totes!

Although this is a high quality tote, it is very much NOT lightweight as the web site describes. It is, in my opinion, a heavy duty tote bag - very tough material that seems as if it will hold up well. But it is way too heavy to be considered lightweight. I was wanting something that will pack up small in my suitcase, but this takes up a lot of space. Also the handles need to be a few inches longer to make it comfortable for carrying it over the shoulder.
