This is my second pair of the clifton suede. They are my go-to for day-to-day wear. Love the comfort, support and looks. Only reason for 4 vs 5 stars is you stopped offering them in black. The limestone (grey) is ok, but please bring back the black.

The fit and size were okay, however, the stiffness of the suede hurt my toe joint.

This was my first purchase from Hoka. I had heard a lot about their shoes, and had high expectations that this would be a good purchase for me. I purchased these shoes, thinking that the suede leather would help them to last two years or more. I purchased them, full price, from the Hoka website.
I will say, the shoes are comfortable. They give incredible support and cushion for your feet, and feel great when walking.
However, after just 4 months of use, the leather shoelace loops began to tear away. I went ahead and sent them back to Hoka, hoping that they would repair or replace them. Unfortunately, they sent the shoes back, telling me that they were outside the date for their return policy. Also, I was disappointed that Hoka never emailed me with a notification about receiving my claim or even denying it.
In the future, I will be going back to purchasing New Balances, which I have purchased in the past with great satisfaction. Their shoes have lasted easily two years.

Perhaps it's because they are "all gender"? My foot didn't fit the same...heel was slightly off. I was really disappointed since I did want a pair of Hokas built more for the winter season here in New England.

Love the shoes, but I ordered Earthenware/chili pepper. The shoes are a deep peachy pink. Trying to decide whether to just live with them or ship them back, and continue searching for something that works for me, in a color I want.

Great looks, comfort, and stability. Added bonus -- they keep my feet warm. Everything I needed and wanted in an autumn/winter trainer.

These are gender neutral and do not fit like other Hokas. Terrible Hoka policy not to refund shipping when product not as described

I've worn these a couple of times now they are pretty comfortable they who feel like a Clifton to me being very soft and comfortable, but they do seem to run a bit smaller than my Clifton knives that I put 1,000,000 miles on these not exactly the same as the Clifton, but pretty For a more casual style shoe I walked a few miles downtown last night and didn't have any issues

I'm a huge Hokas fan and was really looking for a pair of stylish walking shoes. These shoes are definitely trendy but not super comfortable. I've been wearing them every day, all day a week and am still trying to break them in. They're definitely not as comfortable as Bondi 8 (my favorite). I also feel like the sizing is a little small.

Misleading advertising to call these shoes Cliftons.
They are NOT made of the same material, do NOT have the same cushioning or build, and are just NOT the same model at all.
I have purchased several Clifton models over the years.
I wore them and only them for years to get my feet healed up from Morton's Neuroma, Plantar Fasciitis, and some neuropathy.
I bragged them up to so many people. I know at least three people who ordered Hoka's on my advice.
I purchased the grey and the brown Clifton Suedes a couple years ago to have something nicer looking to wear to work. My other Cliftons were not worn out, so I stuck the suedes in my closet. Forgot about them. I was SO excited when I pulled them out this fall and started wearing them.
My feet are back to hurting so bad after work that I am back to coming home, taking ibuprofen, icing, rolling and staying off my feet.
I have contacted customer service but basically have gotten "tough luck, you should have worn them right away".
I had NO reason to expect to have a problem with the same model of Hoka that I had been wearing for years.
Once again, I feel Hoka portrayed this shoe as something it is absolutely not. Misleading representation. Hoka should have made up a different name for the suedes.
I have never been so disappointed in a company in my life.

I am on my feet for many hours per day. This is my 2nd pair of Hokas. They both are heaven on my feet. I just got the suede for more warmth in a WI winter. The tread is also better for ice and snow patches. When I wear Hokas my feet don't hurt, my back and hips don't hurt at the end of the day. Thank you Hoka.

The shoes look really nice, but the pair that was sent to me had air pocket in the left sole only, which made it extremely uncomfortable. Plus I had high expectation for this product so it was a let down.
Requested an exchange so hopefully it turns out good.

I am so pleased with the quality of my purchase. These are the most comfortable shoes anyone could ask for. I am a teacher and on my feet all day. I had plantars fasciitis, bone spurs and an inflamed achilles tendon. Hokas are the only shoes that address these conditions. Well worth the price!!

These shoes are the best shoes I've ever purchased. I never write reviews, but i was so impressed with the cliftons i had to write and recommend. I have always had sore feet walking for too long or vacation trips that had a lot of walking. We went to Japan and walked on average 5 miles a day. A Buddy recommended Hoka and i decided to give it a try. We were there for 3 weeks and i never once complained about my feet or walking. I have wider flat feet and these first perfectly. So comfortable walking and had great support for a heavy set guy like myself. Definitely recommend these to anyone and everyone. Love the color on these. Big guys, don't miss out on these!

The fit was good & true for me. However, the color was not. I am required to wear brown shoes to work. I ordered what looked like the light brown color. When they arrived, they were more beige/tan than light brown. The color in the photos were darker than the true color they are. I will have to return them.

Like so many people, I too suffer fasciitis. Even after only a short walk with my dog or a trip around the grocery store - my feet hurt... I've tried many different brands and none of them provided the support necessary. A friend recommended HOKA and what a difference it made. I love this shoe!! I've gone on plenty of long walks without the discomfort and pain!! I bought some HOKA Slides for around the house and will be filling the closet w/this brand!! My only negative - the shoe runs a little smaller than marked. You may want to consider ordering a 1/2 size larger when you purchase your pair.

This is my first pair of Hokas. I like the color and style of these suede sneakers, and they have a good amount of cushioning. My only complaint is that they have an extremely narrow footbed. The shoes squeeze my insoles and rub against my pinky toes. I can alleviate some of this by not tying the laces tightly, but then I don't get the support I need. My feet are not particularly wide. I never order wide shoes, but if I ever buy Hokas again, I would try a wide width. I'm also glad I ordered my regular size instead of the size suggested by the Hoka website; otherwise, they would have been extremely tight and uncomfortable.

The lacing was a problem. Cloth laces on suede made it hard to pull the laces through the eyelets.
