I have end stage arthritis in my left ankle and arthritis in right hip. I am 81 years old and walk at least 4 miles a day. Have tried many shoes and the beast and adiction 2 from brooks have given me the best results.

These arent the old Beast18s First off I got these shoes on the recommendation from Brooke to give the beast a try again. They were originally recommended by my podiatrist as good for pronation. And plantar fasciitis. The shoes are not good for this anymore as they turned my feet inwards way too much and made it feel like I was twisting my knees without twisting anything causing knee pain. That was weird, Ive never had knee pain before. Hopefully podiatrist are not recommending this shoe anymore. I do not know if Brooke ever sold the shoe for pronation and plantar fasciitis or if they were just recommended by Drs. So would not recommend these shoes for those conditions at this point in time. The Beast shoes were very comfortable its just not a good fit for my feet. I was able to trade them in for the Glycerin 21 which are similar to the Glycerin 20s I previously had. My knees are again happy. Love the quick work of the staff to get me shoes that work for my feet! I would highly recommend using them as they stand by their products and make sure youre happy with your purchase.

Best one yet!! Seems to fit a little tighter and provide better support than previous models. I've been wearing the 'Beast' models for close to 20 years

I like the style and the cushioning.

I have been wearing Beast shoes for a long time. I pronate, wear orthotics and stand on my feel for 11 hours daily. They are fantastic. Tried other brands, nothing comes close. Wear 4E extra wide...just wish that I had more of a color selection.

The Brooks Beast is the most supportive shoe I have ever worn. I have worn nothing but Beasts casually and for exercise for over 20 years. They are the best!

My Podiatrist recommended this brand of shoes,since I cannot articulate my Left foot because of suffering a Stroke, I thought I would go ahead and give this brand a try Obviously I ordered this style Man! Awesome shoes! FINALLY, a shoe that is ACTUALLY, narrow around the ankle and HUGS,the heel and ankle like a shoe is SUPPOSED TO! And, a roomy Toe Box so my feet dont get squashed, unlike Nike shoes which are VERY NARROW I like these shoes so much, I ordered a 2nd pair, intend on ordering more of this style I would definitely consider ordering this style of shoe

Great fit for a wide size. Looks good. A dark sole on a white shoe to hide dirt a plus!

Great shoes. I bought a pair about 3 years ago, and the pair I bought recently are to replace the pair I previously bought. The pair I bought 3 years ago are actually still in great condition, although a bit compressed.

Extra wide did the trick. Big feet already but a bunion on one is a problem. This one made the difference. Still fits well everywhere else. Comfortable and doesn't really look like an "old guy" shoe! Expensive but hopefully will hold up over time. Most importantly, I can where them for long period without having to take off because of pain at bunion.

This shoe gives excellent support in addition to comfort if you are looking for a good looking walking shoe with quality construction.

I purchased these as a gift for my adult son. He said they fit well, feel great, and they look great too. He uses them as a work shoe. He is not a runner.

I really like the stability these shoes offer, just wish they offered a little more cushion with it.

Been using the Beast for years. Do not run anymore, just like the shoe and it does help with my over-pronating. As I said, been using the beast for years. I think the first pair I bought was $35!!!

Tried using SAS shoes when the dyads went out of existence. Feet were hurting so bad I almost gave up running. Went back to Brooks. Beast GTS and been using them about three weeks and my foot pain is subsiding

Double black (upper & lower) looks like orthotics! Need black upper & white lower option like before!

I have only walked on Beasts for the past 10 years. I typically go through 3-4 pair a year. I walk daily 3-5 miles. This is my first pair of the Beast GT 23 and Im not impressed. It feels like a down grade. There is less support throughout and most disappointing after just 1 week of use I have worn the front of the sole down to nearly 0 traction. For $160 I am dissatisfied.

The Beast GTS 23 are the perfect shoe, they are the most comfortable shoe I ever owned. But Brooks please make it in more colors thats the only thing missing from this shoe.

Good, comfortable fit & great support. Needs longer laces.

Best shoes Ive ever worn. Not really for running other than a short jog, because theyre heavy, but if you need support and stability OMG these shoes are amazing! Very comfortable, well made, and with my flat feet and some balance issues I just love wearing these shoes all day long and using them like cross trainers at the gym. Better than any prior versions of the Beast too.
