I only buy Hoka and for some reason this last pair wasn't as stabilizing or cushy. The Clifton 9's are the best for me because I can just slip into them. I sure hope the quality isn't going down because they are usually great shoes!

I can't pinpoint what it about Hoka im not liking. Im an avid Oncloud user and took a friend's advice to purchase Clifton style. I stand 10 hour days 6 day weeks and have bad knees. Oncloud I've been able to do but eith Hoka im feeling tge need to change halfway through. Im still trying them to see if they will ever conform either my feet.

Sizing is off. Ordered an 8. I was walking out of it. Ordered a 7.5 and it was too small. I could barely get my foot in. I usually wear a 7.5 in Hokas and that’s comfy.

This version has a larger tow box and a larger overall fit.

The shoe is hard and not that comfortable. I guess I was expecting the comfort of my other Clifton.

I am a nurse and have always worn Hoka on the job. The last 3 pair I have purchased have been poor quality. The last pair the sole began coming loose after only 1 week the pair before that was about 2 weeks. From the first pair of Hokas bought 4 years ago to now the quality has decreased significantly...same job, no changes in wear or care. I will no longer be purchasing Hoka shoes.

Loved the offered color options however found for myself the fit is not near as "good" or as comfortable as the Arahi or Bondi. Would not buy this again as long as Arahi & Bondi are being offered & continue with their high quality.

Same shoe I had for 2 years--bought a new pair and they are breaking down quickly. Not as comfortable. Not sure if something has happened to Hoka quality. I bought these as they lasted longer than. my other Hokas which have a 6 month usage. Quite sad that quality has gone down.

2 pairs of my Hokas have had the soles detach within months of having them. Other than that, I love them!

I have wide feet and own the Bondi and I'm disappointed the Clifton 9 GTX doesn't offer a wide size, I needed the GTX for travel but day one with 8,000 steps and I already have a blister on my pinky toes. I did size up hoping it would give my toes more room, but now I have shoes that are too big but still too narrow

This shoe ran much wider than most medium widths. Felt like I was trying a wide.

Foot strike was hard, ankles rolled in due to lack of arch support, pinching at toes. was recommended to me by a hooker representative so this was disappointing. I will have to return them.

These shoes, though the same size as my previous Hoka's, feel wider and larger. I also am getting numbness on the left foot after a short walk.

I really wanted to like these shoes, but unfortunately, they were just not for me. I have had one pair of challengers and three pairs of Clifton's and honestly, the GTX for some reason made the shoe seem very stiff. I gave it a good shot for 30 days, but ultimately I ended up returning them. The soul and the body felt stiff and rigid compared to the cushy Cliftons I am used to. I did not find them comfortable at all. I'm not loving the design of the new Cliftons, which is why I went for the GTX, but I've decided to go back to the Cliftons.

These fit a tad bit tight and are much less cushioned than other Hokas. The GTX definitely changes the feel of these shoes.

The feel of the shoe was too rigid, and although I do not have a wide foot, the shoe was too narrow. Uncomfortable fit, so i returned the product.

I am a Hoka fan , I bought many Hoke shoes and I loved them! But this one looks so big! It's like wearing boots! Also they colored my white socks! First time wearing! Unfortunately, I wore them after the 30 days and can't return them.

I use them for work, I'm on my feet all day in a grocery store. The shoes rubs against my ankles and they don't give me the arch support that I requested

The shoes looks good and it is good for rainy days. It is light to use. But it is tight and it hurts on my right pinky toe.

Color was nice just a simple combination of black and vermillion/red. However, material is too hard for a 12-hr shift. The minute you put in your foot, you know, this will not be a good shoe for the entire day. Had to return quicker than a speed of lightning.

I'm in the market for "walking an amusement park all day" shoes. I decided to try Hoka's. When I slipped into them I noticed that there is not much arch support & my foot began to ache. I'm giving them the 30 day test to see if they are worth keeping or not.
