Fits well, good arch and heel support and weather proofing as advertised. Can add inserts without any problem.

Love the Clifton and appreciate the new GoreTex version. Fit is exactly like the regular Clifton.

Noticeable shock absorption as soon as I took the first few steps. I needed a shoe with a good sole due to joint pain. My first pair of Hokas and I'll be back for more!

This shoe did not provide the cushion comfort and stability I was expecting. I've only worn it once and it felt heavy. It felt like I was rocking forward while standing still in them, and when walking in them it felt like an even more forward rocking motion that caused me to lose balance and control.. tripped a couple of times. I got the dazzling blue color it's such a beautiful shoe but sucks at performance for me. I'm so bummed I purchased another hook shoe that disappointed me.

About a month and a half ago, I took a job working at a supermarket. While I'm no stranger to being on a great for long periods of time, I did not account how labor intense this new job would be. Every sneaker I owned failed me. A co-worker suggested Hoka and I went for it. Not a decision I'll ever regret! This sneaker provided support for areas of my feet I didn't know needed support. I refer whenever I get a chance to. Looking forward to my next purchase!

I love these sneakers, I was so skeptical because of the size of the sole but I just went ahead a purchase and let me tell you I LOVE THESE SNEAKERS! I did the ultimate test and wore them all day at universal studios and they understood the assignment. Oh and did I mention I love this sneaker!! Run don't walk and buy them!

Work in the restaurant industry, and get at least 10,000 steps in per day. Have had them since early March and the treads are trying to peel off the bottom. Comfortable enough, but they sure didn’t last very long for the price.

My podiatrist recommended the Hoka Clifton 9 because I suffer with low arches that maybe contributing to foot pain and bunions forming. I'm in a season of my life where the comfort of my feet are more important. I searched the web for the Clifton 9 GTX in navy/red, which spoke out to me. After seeing the price, I vacillated over buying them. I read the reviews over and over and was convinced this was the shoe to ease my foot pain and bring me comfort. I received my shoes in two days. I opened the box. I wear a women's 11 and they looked huge. ButI slowly loosened the laces on one shoe, slipped my foot in, took a few steps and fell to the ground! I kneeled and thanked God for a shoe that was designed for my foot!! It was like walking on pillows. I had real stability. Finally, a tennis shoe that didn't need to be broken inthey came wide, cool, and comfortable.

Perfect fit. Not time to break them in. Off to Japan and they have been great for the nature and city walks. Keep my feet dry in the rain. Look good. Like the high feel of the shoe

Okay so after shopping around and comparing different brands, I decided to go with the Hoka Clifton 9s & boyyy am I glad I did. I recently bought a treadmill and wanted comfortable walking shoes & let me just say, these are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I'm not usually one to give reviews but I feel that they deserve that much. At first I was torn about paying so much for sneakers I've never even tried on but my husband insisted & I listened. After trying these on and wearing them I'll never buy another walking shoe other than hokas again. Extremely happy with my purchase. I love that the shoe isn't too tight in the toe area & the best part to me, is the high backs. My other shoes would dig into the back of heels while walking & it would cause major discomfort. These are insanely comfortable & breathable, no more sweaty feet! Hoping they hold up for awhile & I get plenty of use out of them. Would definitely recommend. 10/10!! Thank you Hoka! (No one paid me for this review) just throwing that out there bc I know some brands do that. Anyway, if you're torn about buying these like I was, just do it! You won't regret it. The only negative thing I have to say about them is, they do run a little big. I'm a true 8.5 but these feel like 9's. Other than that I love them.

I love these so much I convinced my daughter and husband to buy a pair also! I love my Hoka's been wearing this brand for very long 2 years. I always get my shoes with gortex so my feet are always dry. Love them so much I wear only these, even in Vermont!

I wear my Clifton 9 GTX for walking. I has a wide toe box. I feel like I am walking on clouds. It has been great shoe for walking post my knee replacement.

I purched the shoes for Australia. They are comfortable, not cushioney like Bondi's however i wanred the water proof protection. Only one suggestion, i needed 8W, no wide widths are available in GTX so I returned the 8 for a 8.5..Blue is a Very cool color

I ordered these based on reviews and I liked the design and look of these. I was between Brooks and Hoka and I'm glad I got HOKA my feet feel so good in these. I could walk forever in them and I don't get foot pain or lumbar pain. I have a high arch and usually my pinky toes are getting squished and it feels like there is 0 support for my inner sides but these feel like a dream with lots of room and tons of support. Now I'm going to buy a pair for my 13 y/o and my husband who both are picky about shoes and foot pain. My normal size 7.5 fit perfect so I'd say these are true to size.

I love these shoes, love that my feet stay dry they fit like a glove. I hope they come out with black with white souls in the GTX. Perfect shoes I hope they don't change anything.

This shoe feels very comfortable and light feels even better when walking. I have been wearing it to work. The only problem I have is my flat foot it makes my pinky toe feel sensitive to painful sometimes. The shoe feels great.

Bought these waterproof shoes for a trip to Alaska where I was expecting a fair amount of rain, which we got. They kept my feet dry even in some heavier rains and were comfortable. They are stiffer than the Biondi 7 which is what I usually buy and it took about 2 weeks of break in wearing to feel comfortable in them. Initially I wasn't sure they would work for me but so glad I gave them a chance. Love the cobalt blue color too!

Love the shoes. They fit great and provide great support. Only drawback was the treads starting to detach from the soles. This is the second pair of HOKA that have done this.

I was looking for shoes to run in. I am 6' tall and enjoy running but have had a stress fracture in my shin and have had a tough time finding shoes that are cushiony enough to prevent that from aching. These were perfect for everyday walking but when I went running in them I felt like I had clogs on. The base of the shoe is so much wider than my foot, I felt like I was being forced to run flat footed. Decided to return them since I bought them for running and didn't enjoy running in them like I do my asics. I was so very hopeful.

Just what I was looking for! Living in the PNW brigs so much beauty to my life with all the outdoor faves! However, wet winter runs are not my favorite thing most days. I need these for a more secure run on wet and sometimes mossy surfaces!

I recently purchased the Clifton 9 GTX and was hoping for the same comfort I experienced with the regular Clifton 9s, but unfortunately, I was disappointed. The GTX version feels noticeably less cushioned, especially around the heel. The heel tab is shorter and lacks the padding that made the original Clifton 9s so comfortable. After wearing them for just one day, I found the heel area to be uncomfortably stiff and hard, which was a letdown given my positive experience with the standard model. Overall, not impressed with this style it just doesn't deliver the comfort I expected from HOKA.

On the second day of wearing the tread on the one shoe started coming off. I was at work, the flapping sound kept bothering me, so I had to cut the piece of tread off.
