Dr. Recommended for planter fasciitis.

I usually buy Bondi but decided to try something different this time. The toe box is just a smidge wider and I also love that the tongue is not stitched in on one side. Don't change a thing with this fabulous shoe!

I have been a Bondi gal for the past 3 years and swore by these shoes. Recently, I have had issues with my big toe being sore after walking 3 miles but chalked it up to a prior injury. Gaviota came out with this cool yellow shade so I purchased a pair. WOW! What a difference in the toe area and they are just as plush as the Bondi.

I love the graviota style. I have foot and ankle problems and these are winderful!

I have a really wide foot and the sides fit Good.

Love the comfort for walking without sacrificing stability in the shoe.

I waited to long to buy this pair. I usually get a new pair every 6 months. I wear them ever day, all day! My knees and feet were really hurting. After 2 days they started feeling better. Note to self order your next pair before this pair breaks down. The support is fantastic!

Love the cushion and arch support for exercising and just every day walking.

I walk 3 miles almost every morning and that's specifically what I bought these shoes for and they've been great. It's on paved road and they are so light and comfortable. I got the regular width and I have plenty of room in the toe box and the heels are nice and cushy. They are also really pretty! I love the color scheme of this shoe in the light blue/green and purple. This is my 3rd pair of Hokas, all different styles and I love every pair.

Love the shoes! Having good arch support and cushioning is important to me. These shoes do just that band are good looking, as well. I bought the three colors available in wide.I'm hoping they come out in light purple and pink soon. I have the black, grey and light blue shoes so far.

Walking everyday use them ALOT

I wear mine for walking for work. They fit well and provide a lot of Support and cushion.

Favorite sneakers ever. I have foot pain and I can only wear Hokas.

My plantar fasciitis is gone since I started wearing Hokas. It has also helped with the pain of my Achilles tendinitis. I'm on my feet for 12+ hour shifts at times & my feet are still comfortable.

I have owned over 7 pair of HOKAs and my all-time favorites were (are) the Hupana's. They were cute, had the perfect sole not too chunky or spread-out and most importantly, they had the perfect size toe-box so my baby toe didn't rub against the next toe and form a blister/callus in-between. I truly outwore my Hupana's because I didn't want to spend the money for a new pair and have them turn out to fit poorly in the toe area. After reading other reviews, I took the leap and bought the GAVIOTA5. Way out of my price range, but so far - they're worth it. I have to have shoes that don't hurt my feet. Although they look twice as wide as the HUPANA's, they still feel good. I don't wear a wide; however, I purchased a size-up to fit my dr. prescribed orthotics.

I love the Gaviota! It feels like walking in supported air and as I powerwalk 3 miles per day, they continue to feel great. I have feet that are difficult to size due to having narrow heels yet wide toe boxes due to bunions only, and these wider toe boxes allow the sneakers to fit perfectly. I wish this version came in purple or darker colors, but have already ordered 2 pairs in dark blue and yellow. I would also suggest a gortex version for those like me in wet or snowy climates. They don't look dainty and due to wideness maybe even a little clownish, but comfort makes up for it. Time will tell if these sneakers are durable and worth the money!

I walk 7 days a week and have now severe Osteoarthritis and my Podiatrist recommended this shoe. I tried one on in the store and it was great but I wanted it in black so I ordered it and it seemed a lot harder and was not comfortable. I took back to store to compare. I did order a pair of orthotics and now the shoe is very comfortable.

I have Achilles Tendinitis and could not find a comfortable shoe that would allow it to heel. The Gaviota 5 has saved me.

Are use the shoes for walking every day. They are very comfortable and give me great stability.

I love these sneakers. They are so comfortable and offer so much support.
