My 4th pair of Hooks and these are the best fit yet! I where a 9 or 9.5 in casual or dress shoes and sandals and size up for sneakers. Bought these in 10 Wide to accommodate tailor bunion and splaying that came with my senior years. Ugh. Perfection! I can wear a Bombas athletic sock and add my custom orthotic if desired. Plenty of depth! Love the toe box room - don't ever change this please! And am especially happy that additional "cush" was added to this Gaviota style. One request - more colors in wide please! I will be buying at least one more pair soon.
I'd also recommend:
Taos - wide width, Aetrex - wide width

I am 69 years old and have had knees replaced, ankle surgery, hip surgery, back surgery and two shoulders and suffer from osteoarthritis. I am also 300+ pounds. I have 7 pair of Hokas. Stinson, Clifton, Rincon and most recently, Ahari and Gaviota. I have been looking for shoes that support my ankles and also cushion the bottoms of my feet. I have finally found the perfect shoes. Perhaps I can reccomend a new demographic to market for. With an abundant assortment of colors (both bold and neutral) you have the perfect shoe(s) for everyone! THANK YOU HOKA!!!

I wear these shoes several times per week. They make my feet feel like I am walking on clouds. Super cushiony with lots of support. I have very high arches, and they feel wonderful!

After a stroke, I developed severe neuropathy, and finding a shoe that I can wear everywhere, and everyday is a difficult mission! It literally took me ten years...not kidding...to find this shoe. For anyone who has foot problems, please try this shoe!

Worth the price. I have ruptured both of my Achilles tendons in the military and am in constant pain. Have tried ASICS, Brooks, Adudas, Nike, and a few others.. Hoka is the only brand that lets me forget about the pain while I am wearing them. I do wish that the women's line offered more colors that did not include pastel colors. The men's sizes are too wide for me or I would order them. I like the basic colors, which I can wear with dressier clothes (black or brown pants). I have orthotic shoes, but when in pain like to wear my HOKA's with made to order inserts. These felt slightly wide, but fit better after I put my medical inserts in them. The inserts that come with these shoes can use some improvement, they seem very cheap for the price of the shoe. I also wish you would move your manufacturing to the US. If another company offers made in the USA shoes with similar quality, I will switch to that company.

The Gaviota 5 is the best. I only wear Hoka One One and currently had the Gaviota 4 , and 3. The 5 are spectacular and does not disappoint. Plush keeps my plantar issues in submission. Stable ride super Plush with stability these are absolutely gorgeous

I walk 5K's, 10 K's & 1/2 marathons and all the training that goes with it. I have been wearing this style since spring of 2019 and even though I sometimes have to jump through hoops to get a new pair, it continues to be my fave. Since I am walking the stability and cushion of this shoe is just what I need to make it all the miles.

I bought these Gaviota5 as well as a Brooks ArielGTS 23 . Love both of them. The Hoka’s are excellent for support, stability and cushioning.
I have plantar fasciitis (lots of miles on these 67 year old feet) and arthritis in my big toes.
I workout lifting weights and doing cardio. These Hoka’s are like wearing clouds. I highly recommend them. I switch between the Hoka’s and the Brooks to keep my feet happy. If you want cushion and support, try Hoka’s .
I like the Hoka’s so much I’m going to get some hiking boots to replace my Lowa’s.

I love these shoes--I have two pairs of the gaviota 4 and like them, but think the 5's fit better as it seems like there is a just a bit more room in the toe box. I have plantar fasciitis and just had surgery last month. I've been exclusively wearing only hoka tennis shoes since probably march and these are by far my favorite hokas of all.

I used to wear Arahi shoes, but since their redesign, I can't wear them. This is a perfect substitute for me so I'm back in the Hoka game! Super comfy and supportive. Great stabilized shoe!

Great, comfortable athletic shoe that comes in wide width. I wear a 10 W and this shoe fits great. I have a left inner ankle injury related to a flat foot, and this model helps with the pain. I have two pairs currently, and wear one pair to walk/hike/climb in for about 5 miles every other day, and the other pair I put on when I get home from exercising, almost like a "recovery shoe." It helps keep my ankles supported, especially the injured ankle. But I do wear them with arch supports inside too, which is why the wide width is so nice, as it gives you wiggle room to add your own arch supports without them getting too tight.

This is a great shoe because of how soft the padding is. The size guide suggested going half a size up so I did and these fit perfect. I'm going to order a second pair for me and hubby. Both the shoes we got were recommended by the podiatry association so that is a plus.

They are very comfortable and great for my daily walks on dirt roads. I like the fact thatchy have a padded tongue and roomy enough for wool socks which are nice to have for our very cool mornings here in the mountains. I have a few issues with my feet and I find that Hokas are the go to shoe for me. Great support and padding. I also wear these around town and love the color. The first time I wore them out to a dinner party I got tons of compliments and everyone wanted to know where I got them!

I usually buy Bondi but decided to try something different this time. The toe box is just a smidge wider and I also love that the tongue is not stitched in on one side. Don't change a thing with this fabulous shoe!

I have been a Bondi gal for the past 3 years and swore by these shoes. Recently, I have had issues with my big toe being sore after walking 3 miles but chalked it up to a prior injury. Gaviota came out with this cool yellow shade so I purchased a pair. WOW! What a difference in the toe area and they are just as plush as the Bondi.
