Shoes fit as expected and I love that the cushion has been upgraded to "Plush". I am a walker and the cushion is great for walking on the street. Shipping was quick and the shoe fit true to size.

I stand on concrete for work everyday, so I need a shoe that is comfortable. This is a good shoe. It is a little pricey.

I've never worn shoes like these before, it feels like I'm walking on clouds.

I have 3 other Hoka shoes and they are all in my size, which is 9.5, but in the Gaviota, they tend to run large overall. Not just in length but in width as well, they are significantly larger than the other shoes. Caveat emptor!

My doctor told me about these shoes a year and half ago for my bad Knee and they work great! I'm on my fourth pair of the Gaviota style. They are expensive but worth it to me.

I went up one size because my feet swell when running, but saying that this shoe has comfort, support and light weight. I was skeptical to spend this much on a shoe (I know people spend more, but not me) anyway it is worth the money my body (hips and knees) appreciate all the support. I have only run on them for 2 weeks so far so good!!

I ordered different shoes from this. Based on the online questions on the site. I wore the shoes for about two weeks but they weren't comfortable. Hoka responded to my review and addressed my specific complaints. They recommended this pair of shoes instead. They did all the return work for me. Made it easy. I've been wearing these shoes for a few weeks and they are great. My nurse customers recommended HOKA. I'm a cashier who stands a lot and does a lot of walking at work 1-2 shifts a week. These shoes are expensive but worth it. Especially given the customer service. They really stand behind their product and that tells me they value my hard earned dollar and I appreciate that. I would recommend these shoes. And I do get compliments on the colors. I didn't get the wide but they fit well and are not tight across the top of my foot. I'm 5'5 about 210lbs and size 9 foot. So 45 years old and a lot of extra weight and pressure on my feet.

Podiatrist recommended I get a shoe with maximum support. I have severe plantar fasciitis, tendinitis, hammertoe, arthritis on the big toe . I can actually walk fast when I wear my Gaviotas. I don't feel the pain on the soles of my feet and my toes. I cannot find black at my running shoe store. So I had to order from hoka.com.

Love these shoes! These give me the stability I have to have due to foot/ankle issues, but also cushioned well for my knees and arthritis pain. The perfect shoe for me. Customer for life!
