These shoes are super comfortable and the color is so pretty! They are true to size, and roomy without being too wide. This is my second pair of the same one! I have them in both the grey and the light peach color. I can wear them all day without my feet hurting.

I have been wearing Hoka's for a while now but not this kind. After having foot surgery I was looking for a wider toe box and this is perfect. I walk daily and needed the room and stability this shoe provides. The cushion is perfect amount - my feet no longer hurt after Im done with my walk. Thank you for also making them with such nice colors.

I received my new Gaviota 5s and, right away, went on a short 3.5 mile walk on very hilly terrain, my first lengthy walk since recovering from hip surgery. These sneakers are extremely comfortable!!! In particular, I love the elastic strapping at the insteps. They support and stabilize my feet for a steady stride. And they look GREAT! These are my first Hokas...and I'm so very happy that I chose them.

These new shoes are awesome!! I have a horrible pronation in both feet along with several other issues and these shoes really help. I previously wore the Clifton 9, which I absolutely loved, but found I really needed the additional support, which I get with the Gaviota.

Good neutral grey. They do case me to walk a little differently, causing some muscle soreness- happier feet will be worth a few days discomfort.

I use them as work shoes. They are SO comfortable! I work 9hrs and my get don't bother me at all

Needed new shoes for fitness and trail walking. I have knee, ankle and foot issues that have been limiting my activity but these shoes make all the difference. The Gaviota was highlighted for stability and cushioning and they are absolutely perfect! They do have a wide toe box which works fine for me - may not work for narrow feet.

I seriously hurt my foot in Iceland last summer and repeated that injury in Australia in October. Despite every attempt to make things right, I wound up with a foot and ankle surgeon who - bless her heart! - suggested Hoka sneakers. While a cortisone shot ultimately may make the whole thing much better, there was a marked difference when I put on this Hoka shoe. It truly makes my foot feel better and the cushioning is to die for. I'm sold.

Gaviota is very comfortable, soft and so easy to maneuver. As a Registered Nurse, I do a lot of walking but my feet are always happy at the end of my 8-10hr shift. I will never trade or look for other brands out there when it comes to comfort and style. Thank you Hoka!

I go for long, strenuous walks about 5 times a week. My feet and back were getting sore. I tried several sneakers but they were not giving me the support I need. At first, the Gaviota 5 felt a little clunky but it was more that my balance shifted in the shoe and I just needed to get used to them. It really only took about an hour to get used to them. I no longer have feet or back pain. These are so great, I bought a second pair.

I have chronic foot problems and these HOKAs don't even need my prescribed orthotics. Love the colors! This is my second pair.

So comfortable, I am on my feet 10 hours a day on concrete. They are super cushiony and my feet no longer ache when I get home.

I have problems walking and these shoes have helped me a lot. I will be ordering another pair.

I've had a complete reconstructive surgery of the L foot, I have a very wide forefoot and a normal heel width, and I overpronate a LOT on both feet and have bunions and also a hammertoe on the R foot where it was broken by a skid steer. All this to say, I have serious foot problems. Like, the kind of pain where many days I can hardly put pressure on my feet by the end of the day. Well, I decided to go back to school in my 40's to be a nurse and realllly good shoes were a must to get past my first set of clinicals. I got through them with no major foot pain at all, this wouldn't have been possible if not for these shoes! I do have a little arch soreness, but it's manageable and to be expected. They're pricey, but I need to order an extra pair STAT. Size up 1/2 size. I normally wear a 10W and I'm wearing an 11W in these, although I feel like 10.5W would be ideal. PS - I tried on Bondis in the running store also and they were way too small, even in an 11W. Too narrow across the forefoot.

These really surprised me. I have flat feet and very laxed ankles and these really help keeping my ankles in place from overpronating. I'm very happy with my purchase.
