Love this shoe. Used to wear Arahi but the last couple style revisions made it uncomfortable for me so I tried Gaviota. Like running/walking on clouds. Great for a workout or for long walks while traveling. Couldn't be more comfortable.

I have worn this shoe stylefor the past two to 3 years. The fifth version is a lot bigger than the fourth version. I usually wear an eight wide. However, for the updated 5th version I needed to buy a seven wide.

I use them for walking and playing pickleball.

I've never been a runner, the one physical activity I despise. However at 35 I wanted to change my life and how I felt, so I started running and fell in love. I have finicky feet, one foot has a Taylor's bunion, where my pinky toe is starting to push into my other toes. My heel hurts from bone spurs/plantar fasciitis.... so I knew if I was going to run I needed to take my running shoes seriously. I invested in the Gaviota 5's and am incredibly happy I did so. Not only do I not have any pain in my legs, knees or feet while running, but my foot issues have gone away. I credit the H-frame in this shoe. I have knock knees as well and the H-frame corrects that for me. They are a wide, large looking shoe, but the benefits of this shoe outweigh how large they look in my opinion. I've bought two pairs of these shoes and both have felt they were made for my feet the moment out of the box. I am 90% of the time a size 9.5 in shoes and the 9.5 in this model fit perfectly. My only complaint is the color schemes - I wish they would come out with an all nude/sand color without color accents.

I love it! Didn't really have to break them in. They are so.comfortable that I want to buy them all!

I love the Gaviotas. They're super-comfortable and support a high arch. Last week, I walked all over Chicago (26 miles, y'all!) and my Hokas not only prevented any plantar fasciitis symptoms, but they still look and feel great! When I need a new pair, I will definitely be buying another pair of these.

I am a nurse, so I'm on my feet a lot. Also, I have plantar fascitis. I just bought my second pair of Hoka's (third, if you count my house shoes). They are so comfortable and my feet have been pain free now for several years!

I'm on my feet all day, these shoes seem to give me all day comfort. There is nothing bad about this product.

Love that they are so balanced with the wider bottom and very stable for whatever activity you are doing. Great all around sneakers

I ordered a half size up from 6.5 to 7 to fit my orthotics. Still need to test these in a long walk but very optimistic.

Wear them pretty much every day

I work in medical field. These shoes are the best. I have arthritis in my toes and no pain whatsoever with them.

I got fitted to these shoes in a shoe store. I was having terrible pain in my arch while walking. I walk at least 3 miles a day. Thes shoes are super comfortable, and they do a good job of supporting my feet. The only drawback is, that they are already dirty after 2 weeks of wear. I wish they were more hiking/athletic looking, in darker colors, but not black..

After going to the podiatrist I had noticed the doctors shoes and thought to pay the money and purchase a pair and all I can say is that I'm a very happy person with happy feet.

BUT , this shoe is wonderful.. I love the wide toe box.. & I really like the wide stability through the front of the shoe.. will certainly buy again in probably all colors..

As a runner who requires stability shoes due to overpronation (and who places a lot of pressure on my left heel), I was so excited about the Gaviotas -- and they did not disappoint! Incredibly happy with these. I had an initial assessment with Feet Fleet prior to purchasing here. I have small Size 6 feet, low-ish arches that overpronate, a narrow heel, and a wide foot due to mild-moderate bunions. I sized up to the recommended 6.5 to accommodate swelling. This shoes hit all the marks and my main concern was the width, which ultimately is PERFECT. Zero pressure or stress, room to spread my toes, and the stability frame really does its job. I've noticed a big difference in ankle and knee stress due to the form and cushioning on this model. To note: People complain these are "like clown shoes" and, while they are wider, I don't feel they look ridiculous which is potentially due to the small size. I think they're cute and know that a narrower foot box would never work for me, especially when I look at my husband's Rincon 3s. All Hokas are a little goofy looking by nature of being a sport shoe. They fulfill my walking and running needs, but are certainly not a fashion piece and should not be critiqued as such. I want them to last the km, so form takes precedence. Despite this, aesthetically, I love them!

These shoes are super comfortable and the color is so pretty! They are true to size, and roomy without being too wide. This is my second pair of the same one! I have them in both the grey and the light peach color. I can wear them all day without my feet hurting.

I have been wearing Hoka's for a while now but not this kind. After having foot surgery I was looking for a wider toe box and this is perfect. I walk daily and needed the room and stability this shoe provides. The cushion is perfect amount - my feet no longer hurt after Im done with my walk. Thank you for also making them with such nice colors.

I received my new Gaviota 5s and, right away, went on a short 3.5 mile walk on very hilly terrain, my first lengthy walk since recovering from hip surgery. These sneakers are extremely comfortable!!! In particular, I love the elastic strapping at the insteps. They support and stabilize my feet for a steady stride. And they look GREAT! These are my first Hokas...and I'm so very happy that I chose them.
