I needed shoes for overpronation and stability. The Gaviota 5 fills the bill in style! It gives a snug heel fit to add to the security.

I'm not a runner. I got these for work. I'm on my feet 10 hours straight at a time 4 days a week. My feet were killing me. I put these on and in 2 days I feel absolutely no pain in my feet. This is the first time purchasing anything from HOKA. I am a very satisfied new customer that will definitely be a return customer. Thank you HOKA. My aching feet thank you.

Very light on your feet and the most Comfortable pair I have ever bought.

I walk everyday and am on my feet as a Raregiver (caregiver for rare disease) and my back, legs and feet feel so much better at the end of the day. Simply amazing.

Your site recommended these as the best style for my lifestyle as well as the Bondi. I decided on the blue which, I love! The toe is wide, so it definitely doesn't look very stylish, but again they are comfortable! If you don't want to be bright, possibly try the black! I walk about 4-8 miles a day at work, so again these are very comfortable!

They are super comfortable, width is perfect. I can walk in these all day long! So comfy that I bought 2 more pairs!!!! They are my new faves.

I have never had such comfortable sneakers. Until proven there is something better, I will always buy this brand and style. Maybe in a different color, but brand and style, same!

I am 78 years old and my walking balance is not what it used to be. I purchased this shoe, primarily made for rough hiking, and it is AMAZING what it has done for my balance. Hardly use a cane at all now.

these are my 2nd pair of hokas, but my favorite by far! i tend to land on the outside of my foot and these provide both stability and cushioning needed with a little gait correction. i'm looking forward to the next season's color offerings.

I've been having a terrible time with Plantar fasciitis and the Gaviotas appeared in my research. I have the Bondi's but I was looking for a little more stability and the Gaviotas definitely provides that. The only surprise with the Gavs were that I had to size down to what I wear in dress shoes! In sneakers, I'm typically a 6.5 but the Gav 5's had too much room, so I talked to a Hoka specialist and she suggested sizing to a 6. Well, THANK YOU, Haven, because that's exactly what I needed! They fit so perfectly and yet give my feet room for motion and expansion. I'm in love!

This is my second pair of Gaviota's. The comfort & stability are top notch. I have foot & ankle pain most all the time. So, good shoes are a must. I wear these daily for about 13 hours a day. My feet are pain free and happy when wearing them. I recommend Hoka to everyone.

I work in Healthcare. The reason I bought these shoes was I couldn't get through a shift without my feet killing me. Now my feet make it through 8 hours just fine .

My toes suffer from arthritis, I have spent Money for years getting proper shoes and it has not been possible until now, my chiropractor recommended them to me. I was wearing it all the time sandals because I have bones and hammer toe on my right foot, my feet have become very wide in front, I have suffered a lot walking very uncomfortable, until today, I was a size 7 and then size 8 very uncomfortable because they were big on me but they didn't provide any relief, now I ordered 7.5 wide and.... PERFECT, I am very grateful to God first of all and to this company, today I stand up out of the chair and my knees no longer hurt!!! They provide me with support and alive, a good space for my fingers and they don't bunch up anymore. Thank you thank you thank you HOKA!!!!

Love the wider toe bed.....love the feminine colors. Please don't change

As someone w a collapsed arched, these shoes provide such a smooth pain free run. I know I can't speak for everyone but they're almost as good as prescribed orthopedic shoes. Well worth the price and hype.

Very comfortable shoe and like the color too.

I bought these for my sister and she loves them as much as I love mine. She is on her feet working in a hospital all day. I am a truck driver and wear my Hokas daily. Thanks so much!
