These are super supportive shoes which is exactly what i needed. i don't go home with pain in my feet anymore

The wide toe and cushion make this a dream. Stable and soft.

Following knee replacement, I needed new shoes. I've had Bondis before but wanted fabric tops this time. This is my second pair of Gaviotadifferent color. These have a wider toe box which is perfect for me as I normally order wide. Truly comfortable and lighter than leather.

I'm relatively new to Hoka and started out with the Bondi 8's in wide. I don't normally wear a wide shoe but I've been having some foot issues and thought wide would be best. The Bondi 8's were ok for a while but they started hurting my feet. I decided to try the Gaviotas and I'm so glad I did!! I immediately felt a difference! I got a 6.5 regular width and it's way more comfortable than the 6.5 wide width in the Bondi 8! Everything about the Gaviota 5 is perfect!

The shoe fits very well. I like the wider toe area. With arthritis in my feet this shoe doesn't hurt my feet.

I've been a Bondi girl for a few years. Decided to try Gaviota due to the color available. I absolutely love the roominess of the toe box. And it has the cushion of the Bondi.

I literally own 5 pair of Bondi 8's. Sometime last year I feel like they were not being made the same. I tried and tried and sent them back within a week. Enter Gaviota. WOW. WOW. WOW. I have plantar fasciitis, a torn meniscus amazing sneaker for me!

I have high arches and double wide feet, nothing ever fits. My toes have been curled for years because my options have been to wear shoes 4 sizes too big and trip constantly or squeeze my feet into shoes that claim to be double wide. These fit. Period. My toes are straightening out and my lower back has literally never felt better. If you're a high arch, double wide girlie absolutely give these a try. I literally cried trying them on because they actually FIT.

I thought my Bondi 8's were the most comfortable sneaker I ever wore. It is now the Gaviota. Most comfortable sneaker for not only my feet but also for my back and knees.

I bought my first pair because they were recommended for plantar fasciitis. My condition has improved! I'm convinced.

This shoe is perfect for me- I like the roomy toe area and the stability it provides.

I have worn this model shoe for years now. This time the toe box seems a bit wider and I just want to say thank you for doing this!!!!! It is so hard to find a regular size shoe with a wide toe box. The cushion and stabilty of this shoe is outstanding for my everday wear.

I'm an avid walker with sever feet issues, arthritis in all my digits, crush injury to left foot and several decades in high heels. HOKA has literally changed my world. I have 20 pairs, I wake up thrilled to have pain free feet, and many choices. I saw the Gaviota 5 on a lady asked how she liked them, had to have them.

I have had several pairs of Hokas but the Gaviota is by far my favorite. I have high arches and lots of foot problems but these shoes are a dream to wear. I would highly recommend them!

Pros: Very light weight. I noticed right away that they don't weigh as much as the Bondi 8. More breathable fabric than the Bondi 8, perfect for warmer seasons. Good cushioning, somewhat less than the Bondi 8, but I can feel the Gaviota's cushioning with each step, and it is good. I require a lot of cushioning from working 40+ years on cement floors, and Gaviota does not disappoint. Good colors, of course. :) The fit is Wide. In the width I'll say they feel too wide. Actually, they feel perfect for me, but I have wide feet across the toes. In the Bondi 8 I need to order a Wide shoe. In Gaviota, the B width is perfect. Gaviota B width = Bondi 8 Wide. Cons: Not too many cons. There's a little less cushioning than Bondi 8, or at least, it feels different. Some may feel that the wide toe box is a con. Conclusion: I have ordered a 2nd pair of Gaviotas. Am extremely pleased with Gaviotas, and still love the Bondi 8, as well. They are both excellent. The major differences between Bondi 8 and Gaviota seem to be width, (with Gaviotas running wide) and cushioning. Gaviotas are nicely cushioned, but the cushioning has a different feel than the cushioning of the Bondi 8. I wear them for everyday use, and 5-mile walks.

I have plantar fasciitis. The therapist at my work told me that I should try.Hokas.. I put them on and didn't want to take them off. My first pair were a very light color. Less tan a month I bought this darker colored pair. Now my husband bought 2 pairs. I can't say enough good things about these shoes!!!

Great shoe for every day. Can be worn with wool socks. Wide toe is very appreciated
