I ran my first 2019 NYC marathon in my gaviotas. They have changed a lot. I love the lighter shoe now and you fixed the fact that they used to be too hard. Stable and cushioned with some movement/play. It's how I like a stability shoe. I use neutrals too since either is fine for me but these are excellent for the gym too. I use them mainly on the treadmill. They are a bit too bulky for other stuff but good for an elliptical or recumbent bike. It's an excellent walking shoe too. I use them to run mainly too but once retired they will walk too. Haha TY Hoka what excellent improvements you made on this one. Keep up the good work and will we ever see a Gaviota X? I hope so! I'd dig it 100%. Ty they are awesome!

I love hoka shoes they're so comfy & go for every mile. My feet don't hurt at all through out the day because I'm always on my feet at work.

Buying to have support and comfort. They are great and comfortable. They give support as well helps keep balance.

Once I started to wear these a lot of my issues with my feet improved. I have several pairs . Bondi 8 excellent and just trying g the Gaviota 5

I am a nurse that works 12 hour shifts and these shoes feel like you are walking on clouds as well as seeming like I have owned them for years. Great support!!

I have suffer with bad supination. I crook sneakers fast. I tried brooks glycerin gts and it actually made it worst. The guard rails are too far on the inside and short on the outside. At first was find but two weeks in I was crooking them and my feet hurt. I could feel my supination. These I like but felt like wasnt as soft as the brooks plus I was wishing for more of a drop. Well I got insoles to support my arch and they were perfect! The insoles didnt do nothing in the brooks gts 21. I returned them. I am getting another pair of these so I can rotate for the gym. I go a few miles on the treadmill daily. First time my feet don't hurt after a mile. I go 2 and 3 still no pain. I was blown away. I am sooo beyond grateful for the H frame. Finally something that supports us who supinate! Too many sneakers are for only those who overpronate. Us who truly supinate need support too. Plus the base is wide and toebox area roomy as heck. Yet the heel is more slim, which I love! Netural shoes crook too fast and start to hurt. Thank you Hoka and for making the H frame!

Hokas are obviously a great shoe brand. They are supportive and comfortable. I have a heel spur that I'm dealing with and the Gaviotas have been helpful for me especially because I am on my feet a lot at work. They have a wide toe box which is probably good for everyone

I bought to wear everyday walking. Love the support it provides as well as the cushion. Comfortable and help me keep my balance as well.

Super comfortable, cushioned and breathable

I purchased my first wide shoe in the Evening Sky / Coral in 8W, and let me tell you these are the best shoes I've ever worn. Ever! I have bunions and refuse to get surgery for now and I've recently switched to only wearing Hoka shoes. As of now I have about 11 pair between the ora luxe, flip flops, hiking boots etc. The Gaviota are my favorite and go to for every day wear. They're lightweight, plush, feel like a cloud around my ankles and have lots of toe room too. They're awesome at the airport for slipping in and out of and they are wonderful after traveling for 14 hours!! Seriously when I don't wear my Hokas my feet scream at me. I'm a Hoka girl through and through and more importantly I'm a Gaviota Girl! Also, they're gorgeous too! I get compliments on them every time I wear these shoes!! I'm in love and already have the gray and rose gold in my cart.

I was hesitant because of the price. Recommended by many of my friends. I am glad I bought these. It is like walking on air.

I wore my Gaviota all over Europe walking 15 to 22k per day. My feet and legs never felt fatigued!

Omg. These shoes are the best, most comfortable shoe! I started having knee pain so I started researching and trying out so many orthopedic shoes including a lot of the other hoka lines s to styles. This spends by far the best! Soooo comfortable.

I'm 75 and walk 3 miles 3-4 times a week. This is my second pair of HOKA shoes and I love them. I don't wear the same shoe 2 days in a row, I have a total of 5 shoes, 2 pr Hoka and 3 others. I would only wear the hoka if I could afforestation.

This is my 2nd pair of HOKA (Gaviota) shoes. I don't run or even walk fast much anymore, but feet are important and HOKAs provide me with the support and cushioning that I need to be comfortable whether I'm walking on uneven ground or on hard surfaces. I've experienced what happens when I'm not wearing proper footwear so I will wear these forever.

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I wish I could wear them all day, every day! I wear these for HIIT style workouts, weight training, walking and running and they feel great in everything I do.

I have very unstable feet and see podiatrist who recommended HOKA shoes. Has really made walking easier. Highly recommend these shoes.

My son and his partner gave me a gift certificate to buy my first pair of Hoka's, and they are just amazing! No going back now.

The Gaviata running shoe is the shoe I wear just about exclusively. They are supportive, light weight and very comfortable. I like the Bondi 7 but if your foot is narrow, Gaviata is the way to go.

This Brand was recommended by my foot doctor and I love them. My feet feel like they are walking on pure air!

I am just like a weeble! I tip easily and get unsteady. I need a shoe with a rounded toe space and stabilizers and the HOKA Gaviota 5's are the one! Soooo comfortable! Thank you HOKA!! Polly Heaton
