I purchased the Hoka Gaviota 2 a few years ago for myself and my wife. The shoes were super comfortable and stable. My wife is still using the 2 and refuses to give them up. I decided to purchase a new pair for her. She really likes the fit and stability of the Hoka shoes.

These shoes always deliver comfort. I use them for working out and walking.

Love how bouncy they are. They are a more cushioned wide fit than the bondis!

HOKA is the best shoes that I have ever worn! They fit me better than any before and most of all, they have literally cured all of my foot / leg / knee and back pain when standing or exercising for any period of time. I am on my third pair of HOKA's and have two different styles, which I have loved both. I am a walker, not a runner, but as I've gotten older, there were times when the pain just got to be too much. Then I found HOKA's and yes, they are expensive, but worth every penny. The saying holds true, you get what you pay for. Obviously, every shoe is going to fit every person differently, so you just have to be diligent and keep trying them on until you find the one. One thing I can say to the people who haven't had the same positive experience, is that I am truly sorry, because you just maybe one of the few unfortunate ones, who's feet won't comply and I am so glad that mine do! Also, one last note worth mentioning, they came highly recommended by my podiatrist and work perfect with my orthotic inserts.

Love these athletic shoes. They are the only shoe that I get the arch support that I need. And, I like the roomy toe bed. I've tried others and don't get both of these in one shoe.

These are helping me recover from plantar fascists. I'm on my feet all day, so I needed extra protection, and a friend suggested these. They are perfect.

Love my HOKA shoes ! Best fitting shoes that I have ever worn. Fit good and plenty of toe room. My feet are so happy and so am I !!!!!!

I am 68 and my husband and I go walking every morning and these HOKA'S are wonderful !

I use it to work, and it is very comfortable

I wear these shoes every day fall, winter and spring and sometimes in the summer. I have tried other HOKAs but the Gaviotas are the ones for me.

This shoe gives my feet great support and they are like walking on cushions. I use them for every day walking and light hiking on sidewalks,asphalt, dirt and mountain trails. They do make my feet look quite wide but I believe all the space in the toe bed is part of the reason the shoes are so comfortable. I recommend the Gaviota shoe to anyone who has had foot surgeries, need great support and/or have worked on their feet for 47 years.

The support from the Gaviotta is what I need. I have a pair for work and home and am very happy with how comfortable they are.

I searched so long to find a supportive shoe that helped with my problem feet and finally found it in the Gaviota 5! I have both plantars faciitis and peripheral neuropathy. Not an easy combo. The wide toe box and breathable upper was the best I found for my neuropathy. The amazing support around, and under, the heel has felt like near a miracle cure for my plantars faciitis. I've only been wearing them 3 weeks but, so far, I'm beyond happy with these shoes. I tried well over a dozen pair of shoes before finding these gems. Tbh, I never dreamed I'd spend this much but I don't regret a single penny of it. I bought the real teal color and they're very pretty. Not as teal as I thought they'd be (they're more blue) but that probably makes them a little more versatile. I bought my regular size for an athletic shoe (which is a size up from my old everyday shoes). The toe box is wide - a little shocking when you first put it on but they're so comfortable when you get used to it. I didn't know what it felt like to not have my toes all cramped in a shoe! My foot is medium width, borderline wide, but I've never bought a wide width shoe. This shoe may not fit as well on someone with a narrow foot. Finally, I'm not a runner, just someone with problem feet, so I can't speak to how they perform athletically. They are excellent for walking and everyday use though.

This is my second shoe like this one. My previous shoe was a Gaviota 5. Size 7B.this was about a year ago.I have read complaints about how the shoes change from year to year, so in between I purchased another model that was not good and was returned.So my recent purchase i bought the Graviota 5 and am pleased to say not much change so I am happy with this shoes. I am a Hoka shoes wearer for the last 10 years and have worn different models with only that 1 return.

I had been wearing the Clifton 9 wide and those always felt funny, like I the outside of the shoe was higher than the center and made me walk on the outside of my feet. Dont get me wrong, they were decent but after a full day walking, my feet were bothering me. I had tried others including the Bondi as well but they were not for me. The Clifton was the best of the bunch. Fast forward to the Gaviota 5, after reading the reviews I thought Id give them a try since my Cliftons were wearing out. These are great, I bought the wide and they were too wide, I exchanged them for standard width. They feel NORMAL, cushioned and fit to size perfectly. They are NOT floppy like the Bondi and are the perfect sneaker for me - I might have to buy a couple pair in case these are ever changed !!!

The comfort is unlike any other walking or running shoe I've tried. I wear a 7.5 W and this shoe fits like no other. I love the color ( blue ). Most times even with Hoka, if you want a wide shoe, you have to settle for the colors they offer. My only wish is that they offered more vibrant color choices in the wide sizes.

I am a resident doctor and spend a lot of time on my feet, and these shoes really help them from getting fatigued even through hours-long rounds and 12+ hour shifts. The wide toe box is perfect to accommodate a wider fit and the cushion is amazing! I had previously tried the bondi but the arch was too narrow and cut into my foot, causing a lot of pain, but no such issues with the gaviota. I have somewhat high arches, and these provided a decent amount of support (although I would recommend insoles for a more custom fit, as with any other shoes). Highly recommend for healthcare workers and anyone who is on their feet all day!

I have nerve damage to my feet which makes all foot wear extremely uncomfortable. After buying Hoka 5 I can walk 6 miles every day without any pain. What a miracle for me! At first the first day I walked 4 miles and one of my feet hurt near the toe area then the next day that pain went away. This is my 6th day of walking 4 to 6 miles in my new Hoka 5's and my feet finally feel great after 15 years of trying to find a comfortable shoe. I love these.

I just love the way these look on my feet so comfy and comfortable these are better than all the other pairs of Hokas I own perfect for me.

Love the wide fit. It is so comfortable . I've never had a wide sized sneaker before but found the regular size uncomfortable. Needed a good walking sneaker and this is it!

I walk a ton for work and my previous Hoka's were not doing it for me. My feet were still hurting at the end of the day. When I got these they didn't feel incredibly comfortable but the more I walked in the them the more I loved them. I have to walk so much for my job and my feet feel nothing at the end of the day. These are good shoes I would 100% recommend.
