Uneven size. Right longer than the left. Uneven size and plastic at the bottom, makes it hard to walk. Too bad as it was recommended by a physical therapist. I'm trying to return but unable to find the return label as it was not emailed. Difficult return practices as they come from the UK. I've found UK products to be always inferior to U.S. as you get a lot less for your buck

Shoes are a perfect fit size wise. Super cushion only issue is they rub at the arches.

Bought this after it being recommended since I am on my feet all day. It feels WAY to wide on the side of my feet. It fits ok, but I didn't get the extra width, and it feels like thats what I was sent even though its not listed as being a wider fit. Length is fine, just insanely wide to the point I can move my whole foot in the shoe. Past the return date so I am stuck with them. Wasted money on an expensive pair of shoes.

I exchanged my shoes because I had an issue with the Gaviota 4 and was hoping to get my same shoe but they didn't offer the 4 anymore therefore I was forced to get the 5 thinking that can't be much different but boy was I wrong. The support in need was more some in my heel but the 5 give more support in the front of my feet instead. I wish I could get the 4 again because the support it gave my back was outstanding. I am an avid runner and they were great for me but know I don't even run in the 5 because its just not the same support where I need it. The 5 also fits to small on my feet

I heard nothing but great things about your shoes. Maybe if I didn't already have issues with my feet, I would be a happy buyer as well. I did the "find your shoe" and purchased the ones that were recommended for me. Wearing these I started having more issues with my feet...

I hate these shoes. This all-new version of the Hoka Gaviota is horrible. When I walked around my living room, they seemed fine, and I was so pleased with the nice wide toe box. But the first time I wore them outside, the right shoe slipped off my foot. I had to stick on one of those heel protector foams to keep my foot from slipping out. And then I noticed the very aggressive arches. They are aggressive and huge, like Oofos. I have Oofos, which worked great for a year, and then I started getting pain in my knees and hips. It was those Oofos sandals! I was so enamored with these Hoka toe box, I didn't notice the aggressive arches until I walked outside on concrete. The huge aggressive arches causes me to kind of fall back onto the rear of my feet, which started hurting. So then I had to use a thick foam insert. But that still wasn't enough. I had to add lifts. This was all to basically raise the footbed so that the aggressive arches could be lowered when hitting my feet. I thought all this doctoring would work, it felt pretty good. But after walking around in the mall for a couple hours, my knees needed to recover for a day. They basically put Oofos arches into these Hokas. It may be good for some people for recovery after a run, but it's bad for everyday wearing. I hate these Hokas that I spent $175 on.

Color was great . Size was way off . Got my usual size 9 medium and felt a size larger . Also these were extremely wide ! Very wide through the toe box and wide through the heels ! So disappointed . Now I guess I'll have to wait a year for the Goviota 6 ..

I didn't keep the shoes. There was a flaw in the arch of the left shoe. Made me sad. I would like to have been able to keep them and wear them. I did not re-purchase a pair because I was afraid of having the same issue.

I love my Gaviota 4's so was looking forward to getting a new pair in a new color. These are not the same shoe. I do have narrow feet, but even so these were incredibly wide. As soon as I opened the box I wondered if I had accidentally ordered the men's version. Nope, they are just that wide. So I have returned them and am left to figure out what my new shoe will be because this isn't it. Please come out with a narrow version for people with normal sized feet!!

I have extremely flat feet. I've searched high & low for a comfortable shoe. As a teacher, I'm on my feet on concrete floors all day long. This shoe was recommended by my local shoe store, by friends, and by the internet. I knew I didn't like the Hokas I had tried on in-store, but thought I'd get some to try for longer & in my daily setting. I feel like I'm walking in moon shoes wearing these. They did nothing for my overpronation, and by the end of the day, my feet were sore and tingling. I tried to give them a fair chance, but my search continues.

The shoe fit perfectly. The major problem I had was pain I experienced on the top of my foot. I bought them for stability, but I could barely walk in an hour. I have exchanged them for the Bondi XS. I need shoes I can walk in for hours each day. I have other Hoka shoes that I love and can wear immediately with no time for breaking in.

I have been wearing the Gaviota model of Hoka for at least three years and have loved it. I ordered the new model, Gaviota 5, in wide as always and it is nothing like the Model 4 or 3 or the one that preceded it. It is constructed entirely differently, it looks very wide, it does not give the same kind of support or cushioning. It is awful and I have returned one of the two pairs. I wore the other pair just to see if I could love it like my other Hoka Gaviota models but I couldn't. The love affair is over and I have to start again with a new model--or maybe a new brand.

I purchased the Gaviota 4 about 15 months ago and I am just an average walker, not runner. The bottom of the shoe is already coming apart, cworn down. The bottom of the 5 looks the same as the 4 but I hope it has been improved otherwise you will be disappointed. It says made from recycled products, maybe they shouldn't. I have purchased about 5 different pairs over the past few years and I have loved most of them, but not this pair.

I love Hoka!! That being said I love the yellow color but the shoe was big and hurt my feet within an hour. Not the shoes fault I just think I don't need the stability shoe. My go to is the Bondi 8 so I will stay with those. Just wish you guys would get a yellow color for the Bondi.

I really wanted to love these shoes. I expected a lot since they were so expensive. I have worn them 4 times and my feet hurt so bad when I wear them. Also I don't like the way the toe box looks so fat and round. I look like I have duck feet.
