I have Bondi 8s. I like the Stinson better. Hey HOKA, think about making a court shoe?

For starters. So far so good! I have been running in Stinsons for a while now. Very functional all-terrain running shoes. Equal mix of tight, technical trail, plus pushing my BOB running stroller with my two youngest on the road. All-weather traction on trails is good to go, but not too off-road for the road. Smooth transition! Size 15D fit is good. I will say the 7s are a slightly more stable, and have a slightly narrower overall footprint platform than the Stinson 6s. I tend to get a lot of mileage and everyday use out of my Hokas. I literally wear the soles off of them.

Hoka Stinsons are a great shoe for backpacking. I've backpacked many trips in them and gone through two pair of these and love them. But seriously whoever is picking the shoe colors for these in their department needs to be fired. who wants a shoe that looks like a birthday cake or wine colored? just make a normal looking shoe. if you need help go check out altra or topo. returned my third pair not because there was anything wrong with them but because I couldn't see myself looking down at them for the next six months

Background: The only Hoka style I have worn the past 10 years has been the Stinson starting with original. My everyday shoe. Walks ,runs and into the office (casual). I am 5'9", 220 lbs so appreciate the extra support. Pros: Width good, better than last version which I returned Comfortable Hard sole which I think will wear less than previous soft soles (I believe this is the reason "ATR" was taken off the name) Love the orange color Cons: Just not as much cushion/bounce as previous Stinsons. Previously felt like walking on pillows, this model is cushioned but not the same Little tight on toe box from sole to top of shoe.

A really good combo for me of plush (for total knee replacements) with some structure for the sole height stability. Strongly recommend the shoe, BUT the color schemes (in many of the current models) are far from any desirable spectrum for me (with others unsolicited comments aligned, as mine).

Due to the structure of these i have been having issues with my knee. Initially they felt great. May need to take my time breaking them in.

Like the shoe. Good looking. A little narrow for me. Need to be offered in a wide.

Probably the first shoe I've bought from Hoka that just doesn't fit right. The tongue is shorter than the Bondi's and as a result I'm always pulling it up when i tie the laces. My fault - probably should have returned it.

Bigger Guys, Wide Feet, (Must Buy) Pros: Everyday walking, hiking, super comfort. Cons: Durability was good; however build quality-blah Suggestions: *Get rid of the laces and use Lock Laces or a cheap knock off. *Buy Darker colors as your shoes will be dirty anyway. Not Sure: Tread-I've struggle to have tread last as long as companies claim on Trail Runners. I cannot honestly talk about the tread as: *My first pair was warrantied and traded into a shop on the AT. *I didn't pay attention to my second pair-as they weren't sent in to HOKA for other reasons. *My third pair is still unused: Lesson Learned: These shoes are amazing with a couple flaws, I'm sure HOKA is taking in all the feedback to fix the shoes. Some companies just need to do the basics right, HOKA does that. Every piece of equipment you carry on the trail there is a trade off and nothing is perfect. That being said: Hoka has your six. They will work with you to fix the problem so don't get mad at them; just reach out to them and tell them your issue. I will be going to the Arizona Trail next year and I'll don't know if I'd take them on the Thru Hike. *Train here in Florida on Pavement with my third pair and whatever woods are around. *I imagine pavement will take the tread down sooner but I'm expecting rocky, hard, clay in AZ so I need to know the tread can last as much as possible as I do track training miles. *I really do prefer the comfort of HOKA shoes as well as the width even with minor flaws. Thank you, Hoka!

More clunky, stiffer, and worse ground feel than the Stinson Evo. "Broke" them in over 20mi on separate runs. Used them for a chunk of a flat 12hr run. Tried them more for longer vertical training, and used them for a 50kthey still feel flat and clunky. At 85kg, breaking shoes in is normally not an issue. Some delamming around the toe box as well..maybe that's just east coast trails though. I keep trying to like them but have resigned them to daily street wear. And the occasional "maybe they'll shine today" trail jaunt. Love HOKA, hopefully they'll make the next iteration better.

I absolutely love these shoes based on comfort and performance. I have had recurring knee pain over the years and these shoes really helped with that. I work out about an hour or so per day and I wore these throughout the summer. After about 2+ months, the interior of the shoe in the heel area started to disintegrate where the back of my foot rubs against the shoe. I've had multiple pairs of Hoka running shoes and have never had this issue. It's disappointing to have these shoes wear out on the inside when the outer, including the tread, still has a ton of life left. Perhaps I got a defective pair.

The Stinson 7 has good stability, great cushion, and a nice wide toe box. But after wearing them only five times in two weeks, the heel of the right shoe is all ready squeaking with each step.

I bought the Sinson 7 to replace my beloved Stinson 6s. My initial impression is that the 7 is not as plush as the 6 and thus, is not as comfortable. The major irritant with the 7 is that the tongue does not seem as long as the 6. When I put the shoes on, even if I pull the tongue up hard, it seems about a 1/2 inch to an inch too short. I worked around that by not using the top locing holes, but that may not work for long distance. As to the question if I would recommend to a friend, my jury is out. I guess I would, but with reservations.

First let me say, I loved the shoe. Unfortunatly the fit was wrong for me as they don't come in a Wide size and they put too much pressure on the sides of my feet. I had to return the shoes and replace them with the Speedgoat 6.

The only problem was the toe box rubbed against to of foot.Open mesh no padding on top. Fit well true to size but the toe rub was more than I could handle

Aloha, I bought these shoes since I needed more support for my feet. A very comfy shoe, but its only been a few weeks and im already getting wear and tear. I'll wear them till they fall apart, but I expected them to last longer

First the shoes are super comfortable, no issues there. But they have changed something about the way the construct the heel. It wears out really easily, I bought two pairs of Stinsons, one heel has worn out. The second pair is starting my wife has some Arahi 7 and the same thing within 6 months, bought them on sale so no warranty repair, but if this is the new norm and considered normal wear and tear, I'm going to have to find a different brand to spend ridiculous amounts of money on.

I would've worn my Stinson 6s to the grave if I could've. But, all thing must end so I bought the next model, beliving it to be an upgrade. Well, it wasn't. Not only was the fit off from the get go, they began falling apart after four months of VERY passive use, as I was unemployed during the bulk of that time. My 6s lasted well over a year of fully employed, full time nursing. This is a shonda.

This was my 3rd pair of Stinson 7's and I have several pairs of the Stinson 6's. Hoka has shortened the shoelaces and now they are too short to tie properly (I like to wear my shoes looser for a wide fit). Disappointed that I need to buy new shoelaces after paying full price for these shoes.

These were not as comfortable for me as a daily wear shoe as the Challenger 7. Around 10 months in the material was starting to seperate from the soles. Eleven months in the front 1/3 of the shoe on both were separated. Submitting for warranty. In the winter months I wear Danner hiking so these were not in the winter elements. Disappoint but love the green color.

I switched to this shoe after not being happy with Speedgoat 5 upgrades. This is a pretty good shoe. My only complaint is that within 3-4 months, after daily use at work and gym, these shoes start to produce a sharp shooting pain that forces me to buy new ones. so they last about 3-4 months if you wear them constantly, and work out in the gym 1.5 hours a day 6 days a week. Which is pretty good. The toe cap needs to have a sturdy material. It is not covered by a plastic so the constant use of the force of your big toe coming up, even when your nail is sharp, will produce a hole. The other thing is that the sides of the shoe at the very top that touch your pants, will rub off in 2 weeks and bust open. I unlace my shoes and take them off properly, i don't use one shoe/foot to take off the other. It is a little surprising how fast they look like used shoes (2 weeks). I have raised this concern with HOKA. even returned some within the allotted period. I started to look beyond these shoes now, after speedgoat 5, and am looking Elevon X which has been a better shoe. at the gym: I lift, use stairmaster, and i do no running.

The quality of these shoes used to be much higher than it is now. This is my 4th pair of Stinson 7, and I love the fit, but my last 2 pairs, have come unglued where the fabric meets the rubber of the shoes. I exchanged the last ones for my current ones because of this problem and my current ones have the same problem. I decided to keep them anyway because I love the fit and these shoes are the only ones which don't hurt my feet and feel comfortable, but for the price they cost, they should not be ripping up during the first week of use. I'll keep buying and eating them, but wish they would be better quality.

I got these shoes for trail running and have been using them once a week for past 3 months . I run in mountains and dirt paths . This past week I just realized that the glue binding the top to the mid started to tear and leave a hole .
