These shoes are more like a walking shoe, with a rocking motion that throws your foot forward when walking- makes shows feel tight in toebox. They do have good cushioning, but I prefer previous models of Gel Kayano for overall comfort.

These shoes are amazing! So comfortable, cute and just what I needed. They are not a part of my everyday wear!!

These are the best and most comfortable running (and walking) sneakers Ive ever had! I have very flat feet that are somewhat wide, and these sneakers fit perfectly. I just had ACL surgery a few months prior, and these sneakers have made running comfortable for me as Im just running again for the first time in over a year!

Bought a pair for myself and my husband decided to buy 2 more pairs

Way too big. Followed the sizing recommendations and guidelines and they were easily a full size too big. Did not like that there are no exchanges and I could not return without paying fees.

I have a lot of trouble finding good tennis. I suffer from plantar fasciitis and my podiatrist recommended these and they have made a big difference. They give me the support and comfort I need.

I am a big fan of the Kayanos and have bought them every year for the past 12 years. However, I don't really like the new style of the Kayano 30 because the sole has gotten so much bigger and it sticks way out from the rest of the shoe.

I always tell people its got all the support I need but now with the luxury cushion that the nimbus has always had. Such a great shoe, I bought it in multiple colors!

Great feel but smaller in size than before. Ive been an 11.5 for the past 5/6 years wearing the Kayano. But this one was so tight. I exchanged for a 12 and its better but realized I need A 12.5 possibly moving forward. Its annoying to not know the size you need. Used to save me from having to go in the store. Not sure why they made them smaller this time but thats why I gave It 3 starts. Comfort and feel are 5/5

This sneaker is very comfortable like the Nimbus. If you prioritize comfort and need a bit of guidance stability, this is a great option. The fit should work for many - normal in the heel and mid-foot and accommodating in the forefoot/toe box. There should be no issue with heel slip. It is secure and plush at the same time. I tend to find 0-6 mm drop sneakers the most comfortable, however this sneaker works well, so I wouldnt cross it off your list on account of stated drop, and I am a mid-foot runner. I think it is very durable and will perform well in all weathers. Now that its on sale, if you can afford to, go ahead and purchase. I think its a sneaker you wont want to take off and that will last.

I am not fond of the huge sole's. That makes the shoe looks so large. I returned both pair. I have gone to Brookes

New construction is disappointing, too much change in a great shoe ruins it, I wouldve thought that you all wouldve learned not to ruin a great thing with the 2170, but I guess not, just lost another 15-20 year customer to Brooks

Very comfortable shoe. Used them for marathon training + marathon and they felt great. Would definitely buy again.

Great for my problem knees and I'm able to walk 2 miles but I could not before wearing these shoes!

Feels cushier than previous editions. I have gotten used to them but it is a different feel. I do put an insole in them.
