My feet and ankles hurt after work and my other gel kanyos never felt like that. I work 12 hour shifts in an ER and I need comfortable shoes.

I have worn Gel-Kayano for years, mainly for inside walking on a track, and I've always been pleased with the fit. It's nice to find a workout shoe with a narrow width. This model, however, does not fit the same. My longest toe is so painfully cramped that I've had to go back to my old shoes.

Love the shoe but after 5 months the stability "blew"-for lack of a better term. Am a nurse, was not a great experience and limped at work. Cant afford to spend that amount on another pair that doesnt last but if you dont have to worry about money ... go for it. Runs Small

This review is for the color of the shoe not the shoe itself. The Shoe is amazing 5 stars! But I ordered this color and when I got it, it was not like the picture. If you are looking for a yellow color like I was this is NOT yellow. It is lime green....big big difference Asics!! PLEASE Asics change the name on the color to lime green. And also PLEASE come out with a nice bright YELLOW shoe!

Don't buy these shoes! Too stiff and too clunky for running.

Why did we mess with the sole!!!??? I tend to over supinate while standing still. I don't want to know what's happening while I'm running. The old Asic Gel-Kayano were BEST seen and worn. They were my favorites and now, I can't wait to get on my pair of Hoka's or older generation Asic Gel-Kayano. You've really gone and messed up a trusty steed.

I literally returned this shoe within 24 hours of receiving it and got my refund. The shoe was uncomfortable and made my feet hurt to the point that I felt like I was limping. I got a size 8.5 and ordered online, not sure if 9 would've been a better fit or whether the shoe was uncomfortable in itself.

Too short and uncomfortable - too highl in the middle

I'm really sad they changed the soles of their beloved kayano. This new model does not cushion my foot well. It is very stiff especially on the outer part of my sole. Please go back to the original model. I loved the 27, 28 and especially the 29. I will be returning these and getting an extra pair of the 29s instead.

This was my favorite running shoe for years and years and this most recent model had a weird sole with tons of extra material like those weird sketchers butt shape up shoes. I am so sad I have to find a new brand after wearing these for 20 plus years! ASICS please change it back!

I've been wearing Kayanos since the 13's... these are trash. There is NO PRONATION SUPPORT, which is eat we come to Kayano for! My ankles and legs cramp, and the worst forefoot pain I've ever had! (NEVER had this before!) Friends jumped Kayano ship after 27s and went to Brooks Adrenaline GTS 23. I THE ARCH SUPPORT! Very disappointed in Asics. As I've gotten older, I need the Kayano more than EVER! CREATE A HOKA-LIKE LINE, BUT GIVE US OUR KAYANOS BACK!

I have worn Gel Kayanos for years, loved them, tried Brooks and Hoka. Just bought 30 and my feet are sore after running! The memory foam or whatever they use makes the ball of my feet ache

New style - lots of sneaker that made my feet look and feel huge. Was not comfortable walking in- returned them and purchased kayano 29

They are heavy and walking in them caused my legs to ache after a few hours. I love the cushioning but they need to be lighter.

I have been buying KAYANO since the 27's came out. I buy multiple colors and have purchased back - up's of 27 28 29. I have had a sprained ankle and a difficult surgery, always wearing orthotics and these sneakers. Bought one 30 and so far very uncomfortable with or without my orthotic. The design is a big departure for those who love the KAYANO! Make a similar design like the 27 which was so sleek and add the technology. I am now trying New Balance and Andrenaline

Asics, what were you thinking?! The new Kayano 30 design has zero support for over pronators, which is exactly why people buy these shoes. With the extra cusion added, the support was removed. With every step I take, my feet cave in. I'd only be able to wear these for an hour before my feet will be screaming at me. Please continue to make the 28s and/29s or I will have to switch back to Brooks, which I do not love as much as Asics. Please, please, please fix this shoe!! I am completely disappointed in this new design as it looks ridiculously clunky and also lost ALL support. I do NOT recommend the Kayano 30s.
