Good fit for wide feet. Cushion supports your feet; very comfortable.

Had been a Gel Nimbus shoe person for last 2 years. Great shoe, but the Gel Kayano 30 has a better fit for my foot, providing more stability when I walk.

Glad I bought, will buy again. A little bigger in terms of width than I thought but they are ok by me

I have a bad knee and ankle. The Kayano line has help prevent me from twisting my ankle when being active, and also offers the most comfortable shock absorption and helps keep the pain at a lower level than I've experience with other shoes. I've been using Kayano shoes for the last 15 years.

I have owned several pairs of the Gel-Kayano line over the years. Each year they just keep getting better. I am a basketball official and these shoes provide the support, traction, and stability I need. I will continue to buy the Gel-Kayano.

I dont like these as much as the Kayano 29. It seems they tried to copy the bulky and ugly HOKAs. The 30 is foamy and the soles started delaminating after one week. The appearance isnt great. The instep is horrid looking and looks like an orthopedic shoe. Ill wear these out and probably switch brands.

First off I am not a runner. I purchased these shoes because it was on a list of recommended shoes to use along with my custom orthotics. I am on my feet for hours at work as a pharmacist, and I have flat feet. We are required to use nonslip shoes by our employer that has ultimately led to my foot pain. These Asics were odd to walk with at first because of the large and thick soles. The toe box seems a little tight despite purchasing the widest width. However, I can make it through a 10 shift without removing the shoes. I do wear compression socks and cotton socks along with the custom orthotics. Therefore, that may be the reason for the slight tightness of the shoe.

I have been a diehard Kayano guy for the last 8 years but this model missed the mark and I will be changing brands. It feels big and clunky on the foot. It is not nearly as comfortable as previous generations. I am not sure why they had to make the sole of this shoe so large. It drags your foot down. Go back to the 27 or 28 style.

Zero break-in needed. Just go! Loved how it fits like a custom-made glove out of the box - no chafing points.

my favorite shoe. an actual breathable fabric and hands down the most comfortable shoe ive ever owned/wore. I wear these every day since im always walking/jogging around. the running experience is great with these as well

Overall an extremely comfortable shoes that I'm using for daily casual. Compare to Kayano 29, it is lighter and bouncier. Bouncier is a subjective preference because I prefer the Kayano 29 firmness, it was a right balance of cushion and support. The top material is more glossy polyester-ish texture than the Kayano 29 having matted complex weaved texture that outfit better in daily casual.

I need a shoe that helps support my foot while running. For years I've gone with Brooks Adrenaline, and had been happy with them. After researching other shoes I came across the Gel Kayano shoes and am very impressed so far. Much softer and lighter feeling. Im a very large "runner" and these are great. Will definitely buy another pair.

These are my second pair of ASICS Gel-Kayanos, and I am completely satisfied with them (actually both pairs). They are easily the best-fitting and most comfortable running shoes I have owned...and I have owned many, as a competitive runner and then, after developing knee and back issues, a person who needs comfortable and supportive shoes for everyday wear. I highly recommend them.

I have always wanted Gel Kayano but honestly couldn't afford them for years. I bought the 30 model on sale. They are perfect for me. I need wide shoes and for years I had the regular width Asics. Once i got the shoes and used them I hurried up and ordered a 2nd pair. I also bought a pair for a great friend who had some wore out Hoka's. When I run or walk I do not have any discomfort in my knees that have some arthritis. Feels like I am on a cloud. Needless to say I highly recommend them.

After a month of very light, use the upper started to deteriorate and get holes in them for no apparent reason. Ive never had that happen in any running shoe Ive ever had. Other than that the shoes fit well and were comfortable, but not worth the price for the holes. Its hard to believe theyre still selling the shoes for $120 to unsuspecting customers!

Even more comfortable than the 29s. Fit is just as expected.
