I have been wearing an 8 1/2 Bondi. Switched to a 7 1/2 WIDE in this style and the comfort and fit of this shoe is so nice.

I was diagnosed with brown squared syndrome left side of my body is weak, so I walk with a foot brace and a knee brace, I have problems with my balance sometimes walking! These shoes are hands down the best shoes I've found since having to wear a brace since 2007 they fit my foot brace perfectly they are wide, so they help my balance they are sooooo comfortable I could be on my feet all day and I would have no issues. I first seen them at physical therapy and all the physical therapist had them on, they are a little pricey but so worth every penny!!

fantastic shoes and boots bought 3 pair in 2 weeks after trying my very 1st pair of boots, if you deal with any kind of feet pain this is the key, even after buying ON's last past 2 years many pairs later hoka's are light, very very comfortable and I can't wait to see how long that will last, hoka's are the shoes and boots of the future and I may never buy another brand as long as they make these life changing boots for the hard workers always on there feet for long periods of time

I fractured my big toe last year HORRIBLY! More like I shattered it. Almost a year later it is still swollen and aches off and on. I also have flat feet and ankles that pronate, so when I stand up, my feet and toes spread. For these reasons, I need a roomy toe box! In Bondi 8, Bondi 9, and Skyward X, I need wide width. It Gaviota, regular width has a fantastic roomy toe box, so I didn't have to do a wide width in them! They aren't as squishy as the Bondi, but they are still squishy and are very supportive! My messed up big toe is very happy in these shoes! I can walk a lot without getting sore feet, which is HUGE for me because my right foot (the one I injured last spring) tends to get sore after not much walking at all. I LOVE the Gaviota! Highly recommend!

These are perfect, for me. I need something stable but comfortable. I've bought this style once in the 4 and now twice in the 5. My feet have always been achy in other shoes, but not these! I can wear them all day long and they have not once been achy or sore at the end of the day.

I love these shoes. They have saved my feet from so much pain since I was told I had Plantar fasciitis. They are worth the money spent. Now with no pain I just keep buying them because I would rather not have problems later. The look is also cute.

I'm on my second knee replacement and bought my first pair of Hoka shoes and am amazed how all the stress on my joints are relieved when wearing them. Comfort, support, stability and nice looking. I'm hooked!

Very light and comfortable. IMO, the first time wearing them felt like they fit the way a new pair of running shoes should... just right!!

I've went through about 3 pairs of Bondi before finding these. I underpronate, and the height on the Bondi made me prone to rolling my ankle in them. The Gaviota adds the perfect amount of stability that prevents this from happening with the same cushion as the Bondi. These are so comfortable!! Please don't ever stop making these.

Very supportive; felt immediate relief from Plantar Facitis pain. A little clunky looking, but worth it for the comfort.

I have pairs of Clifton 6, Bondi, 7, and Gaviota 4. Just bought a pair of Gaviota 5s and holy cow are these the best shoes ever! I really thought the toe box was small on the Gaviota 4s but Hoka has improved this on the Gaviota 5s! I hope they come out with more colors. I would totally buy more and put them in my closet for the future. I bought the anchor/grapefruit. FIRST PAIR OF HOKAS THAT I DID NOT HAVE TO BREAK IN! The evening sky/coral is out of stock in my size. Would love a pair of the citrus glow/sunlit ocean but not sure if they come in wides. OMG get these shoes. I am not a runner. I just use them for everyday use and walking. I love that I can actually fit my orthotics in these shoes and don't have to take out the shoe insert. LOVE LOVE LOVE THESE GAVIOTA 5s!!!

I work as an Equipment Technician in South Florida and I walk everywhere throughout the hospital. I was using Saucony and Brooks prior, both of those brands of shoes my feet would continuously hurt after a few hours. I can walk 15,000 steps a day in these shoes and afterwards my feet aren't tired or sore. Being that my job requires me to have non slip shoes and comfort shoes, these are the best. Waterproof is even better in the setting I am in. Hoka has a loyal customer, thats the only brand of shoes I will buy now

I know these sneakers were meant for running, but I wear them to work and walk a lot. These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. They were worth every penny.

I have had issues before and I am re-purchasing them for the third time. I really enjoy the shoe. The tow box is super wide and my feet never felt like they were cramped, uncomfortable, hot, or that my toes couldn't spread out when I was walking on my feet. I actually wore them for the first time the other night and was on my feet during a really bad trauma and my feet never got tired. The support is really great as well. I felt like my feet legs and calves after the shift we're not exhausted and I didn't have any Charlie horses, I would definitely recommend this to a friend or any nurse that's getting into the medical field that is going to be on their feet for an extended period of time, it gives you the right support and the colors are really cute and they look really cute on you as well. I would definitely recommend this to any nurses out there that are debating on getting this shoe I personally like the shoe better than a lot of the other brands that nurses buy.

I recently tried the new saucony hurricanes and about 2 miles in my feet were on fire. Exchanged those for the Gaviotas and wow what a difference. Just ran 4 miles and no foot pain whatsoever. Also, that was the first time I've been able to run 4 miles in a while. I love these shoes.

I'm retired. I'm on my feet half of my day. I have a couple of problems with one foot, as well as a balance issue following a stroke. I feel much more stable with this style. I was wearing Arahi because of the J frame. It's very satisfactory. But now for my feet, I prefer the Gaviota 5. I always choose a dark fabric because it is aesthetically better for my size 11 feet.
