My podiatrist recommends Hoka shoes for my neuroma. In the past I put a small orthotic in the shoe to help alleviate the neuroma irritation. Best news- these shoes with the cushion and smidge of extra width require no orthic to keep the neuroma pain away. It is nice to not have to mess with placing an orthotic in these shoes. This is my sixth pair of Hokas (I keep wearing them out).

I absolutely love my Hoka Gaviota's!!! I started wearing the Gaviota 4 and then went to the Gaviota 5 when they came out. These are hands down the best athletic shoes I've ever had! Highly recommend

I have both the Gavita 5 and Bondi 8's in the Hoka's love them both. Would highly recommend either for comfort and quality.

I'm very been wearing these for 3 weeks now. I'm on my feet 9 hours a day and so far no feet or lower back pain. They are very wide. But I don't mind.

This was my third pair of Gaviota 5 shoes and my fifth pair of Hokas. I like the way this shoe contours to my foot and gives me great stability. I am on my feet all day at work and love the feel they give me. I also use these to work out in. Order a 1/2 size up for a better fit.

Bought the Gaviota 5 as recommended for a comfortable shoe for working in the hospital setting. I love the color and the shoes are comfortable especially when standing in one area for lengths of time. I'm used to buying the Clifton 9, but like the Gaviota 5's too.

I have dealt with Bursitis in my fifth metatarsal for years and this is the only footwear that has made a difference. Very comfortable yet still built solid. Would recommend for people with foot issues or if you need a comfortable shoe in general.

These could be the most comfortable shoes I have. owned. I just had a knee replacement, and the extra cushioning has been an added plus during my recovery.

This is the best sneaker I have found to wear!!! I struggle w neuropathy and injury from the result of turf toe. I'm also on my feet 8-10 hrs a day grooming, so I need something w great support to provide for a pain free day. You will not go wrong in purchasing this shoe....your feet will thank you!

I've purchased multiple styles from Hoka and the Gaviota 5 is by far my favorite! I have fairly wide and flat feet and needed something comfortable, but also supportive. These are both of those things!

I had foot surgery in February and non weight bearing for almost 3 months! I put this shoe on right out of the box and it was like a cloud. I had no break in period at all. I will be ordering another pair of these.

My feet require the stability that only the Hoka Gaviota can provide. I've been running/jogging/walking in the Hoka Gaviota for the past 4 years - I'm a super fan!

After trying several pairs of stability running shoes over the last year I have found that the Gaviota 5 and Stinson 7 H-Frame sole is one of the best stability shoes on the market. My feet feel great after a 3-4 mile walk in them. If I decide to run, I have total confidence in the support the midsole will provide. Hoka has made a great stride in the stability shoe market with the H-Frame. My wish would be for Hoka to be one of the first companies to make a stability shoe with a premium foam like PEBA. The foot feel of the Gaviota with the support of the H-Frame and a bouncier, more responsive foam would be an amazing shoe.

I have large (15) and extremely flat feet. At 67 and weighing in at 300lbs, my precious bark at me and the Gaviota quiets the bark better than a shock collar. I wear them daily and only ask them to make them in a dressier shoe. I will buy a dozen!

I walk daily and I love the bounce and cloud feeling of the Bondi9 and Skyflow, but the Gaviota 5 keeps my foot from ending up walking on the side. I do wish the Gaviota had more bounce but it is still a fantastic shoe!

After wearing my Gaviota 4's out, finally settled on for Gaviota 5, which initially thought I would, not like as well as the 4's. Surprisingly, the 5's are very comfortable and stable which I need. Have tried all other Hoka models rated as stabliity shoes and could not find any that felt right for me, so went with Gaviota 5 and after several days of wearing, know that was the best choice. Hoping they do make this shoe in updated color selections that seems to happen in other models. Chose the black again, which is fine but would like better colors that are not screamingly bright but more subdued for the summer season.
