I bought these for my husband he absolutely loved the shoe but while he was running on the treadmill his toe kept rubbing so bad that it blistered! He says walking in them was fine but no running! He liked the color so much he hated to return them but got another style !!

The color is very cute but my toe rubbed and made a sore on it as I was running in them! I had to exchange them! I hated to because they are very soft and comfortable but because my toe kept rubbing made them uncomfortable !

The GTX is as great as the other two regular Clifton 9 I have but haven't really tested how water proof the GTX cause it doesn't or haven't rain in Southern California. Hopefully soon I will know!

I've been wearing this pair for a few weeks now and I love them. Great cushion! Great looking shoe! I will buy another pair.

Good product I like it

I love the shoes. They are very comfortable and have perfect arch support. Very thick-soft sole for added comfort. The fit very well throughout except for a little excess room around the toes, something I only notice when running down-hill. I did try on a half size up and down to make sure this was my correct shoe size. It is only a minor discomfort which I do not always feel. Even with this small issue it is still one of the most comfortable running shoes I have ever purchased.

Comfortable shoe. Had the shoe for about two months. The sole is coming apart bottom.

Comfortable so far. Get lots of compliments on color. Need wide width. Bought size 8 instead of 7.5

I have neuropathy and Hokas have been a great help. The third pair... Clifton 9 Black and White.. seem to fit the best. Love the cushioning in the sole. If I could wish for anything the insoles would have a bit more plushness if that makes sense.

Helps me to walk and run for longer distances

I've used these in the snow, muddy trail, rain, wet grass and holds up very well. The inside didn't get wet and my feet stay warmer compared to the non gtx clifton 9 which I also have but in wide, and is also a great comfortable shoe for running and walking. One thing thats a downer is that there is no wide!!! HOKA PLEASE MAKE THESE IN WIDE. I would actually buy it again if you offer this in wide as the size offered feels narrow! Its a great capable running shoe thats suites my PT routine well, but I really need a wide to give it that 5 star.

Daily walking

I usually buy my Hokas a half size bigger in case of my feet swelling on long runs. These feel a little larger than all the other 8.5 I have bought. I wish I had bought an 8 in this particular shoe. Other than that the shoes are great.

Hooks shoes push your feet forward. Avoid blisters on toes when walking long distance. Shorter walks OK without half size increase.

Need a comfortable shoe for fast walking and am on my feet a lot. Years of wearing steel toe boots have destroyed my feet where now I need one size bigger for room and comfort.

The waterproofing is great so far. The shoes run a little bigger than the Solimar's I normally wear.

I didn't like the fit, the shoe seemed narrow. These were my first set of hoka's. I bought them online, so this probably led to getting a shoe that didn't fit correctly. I loved the styling it would be nice to have a wide option for the GTX model. I replaced it with a standard Clifton 9 that was a wide fit and these fit more comfortably.

The shoe stays dry in the rain. The fit is amazing as usual. The color is great and enjoy the fact that the sole and sides are a dark color.

I like these (I had to purchase men's size 8.5 because they do not come in wide widths for women) but as with so many HOKA styles (women's & men's), the collars (backs) slip. I have managed to wear through the collars on several pairs. Other than that they seem to be doing what I need; i.e., walking a minimum of 4 miles/day on asphalt in beautiful Colonial Williamsburg , VA!

A little hard in the arch, and narrow in the toe. Since it does not come in wide perhaps ordering in half size would be best.
