I'm very happy with the Clifton Ten. The toe area of the shoe is pretty wide, but it's not a nuisance.

I love the cushioning and weatherproofing of this shoe! I've used it for both traveling and my walking job, and it's perfect for rainy and snowy weather.

Now I must say for my condition the Bondi 9 and the Clifton 10 do feel better. Not a huge difference but some. But I've tried Brooks, and all the others spent all this money and they legit don't even compare to Hoka. I have crpd and plantar fasciitis so it requires the control and comfort, Hoka has it.

Not as comfortable as the previous version. This newer version is supposed to have Gore-Tex. Three weeks into wearing them. It was raining and my feet got wet. Not so sure about the Gore-Tex.

If this shoe gets discontinued I'd cry. Only down side is the bottom rubber pods wear out pretty fast. & Tongue is sewn to the shoe other than that very comfortable. I'm normally a 7.5 men but I went with an 8 mens, recommend sized up if you have wide feet. They feel a little restricted when you first wear them but the loosen up over time. I love them, id buy another pair ON SALE LOL. Just purchased the bondi 9 we'll see how that goes...

The blue lugs on the bottom separated after light use walking after only a few months. I rotate through multiple pairs of HOKAs for everyday use/walking. Thought I stepped in gum or something at a boat show. This is the 3rd pair of HOKAs in the last year that fell apart or excessive squeaking after years of buying and wearing the brand. It's also the only ones I have purchased directly from HOKA. This shouldn't be happening from the pinnacle of shoe companies. Come on HOKA. I I received a refund and bought the same color and style of shoe hopefully this set is better.

I am currently on my second pair of shoes and they feel great. The only negative feedback is that the rubber traction pads come unglued from the foam sole after only a couple of months. Both pair did the exact same thing! I have not hit the max mileage for them yet so this was a little disappointing.

I was very pleased with the delivery time, the shoe runs a little big, I would recommend not sizing up. I did size up a half size because I was ordering online and my ankle swells, that's not a problem for me with this shoe. They look really cool from on and from a distance. My back enjoys them also when standing still or walking on concrete.

After trying Hoya's Im blown away by the comfort. I'm approaching 70 and they are great for older feet. But my 27 year old son in law loves his as does my older daughters 33 and 35. I'm a raving fan and continue to recommend them to others young and old alike.. I have 3 pairs and love all of them. Only issue is they seem to run small for me. I bought 12's and had to replace them with 12.5

I bought 12 1/2. True to size. Fit me better than the Bondi. Fit almost as good as the Skyflow. I liked it better than the Brooks Ghost which I returned.

i wear these for everyday work. They run a half size small and don't breathe well when it's hot.

It might be because I weight 245 lbs but the Bondi version and now the Clifton version squeak when I walk.
Very comfortable shoes though.

For me almost everything as I expected, the comfort, stability, cushion etc.. my only concern is I wish there is more color to choose for waterproof shoes.

Waterproofing is good, but it's quite warm, and damp inside from non-venting moisture at the toe cap. Cushioning is great. Fit is oddly large, foot sits far forward right to the end of toe box. Feels like a very generously wide shoe. Reflective accent are super visible at night. Glad for some color choices in a goretex shoe

I purchased a mens size 7, which, according to your customer support person is the same size as a womens size 8.5 wide, because the Gore-Tex Clifton is not available in a womens wide. The shoes were too small, so I am waiting for the next size up to arrive. I have had this issue with other Gore-Tex shoes - they always seem to run smaller to their non-Gore-Tex counterparts. So, this is just a warning to others to think about sizing up if they have wide feet and want a Gore-Tex Clifton.

I need waterproof walk/running shoes to take my dog twice daily in Seattle. The 8 is too small and 9 too long. Need a wide in this shoe.

I feel like the shoe was well-made and thoughtfully crafted. This is my second hoka shoe, purchase and I was pretty happy with my first ones. My main concern with this issue is that there seems to be a lot of space in the toe box and my toes sort of roam around up there. I tighten the laces from the toe towards the heel every time, but I wish it was a little tighter up there.

While I was trying to decide if I should buy the Hoka Clifton 9 GTX, I read a review that said the toe box was smaller than the regular Clifton 9s. On my left foot, I did find that the toe box is too small, or that the left shoe is too small. My left big toe feels cramped and I experience discomfort in my big left toe while wearing my shoes. Also, the Hoka Clifton 9 GTX are not nearly as comfortable as the regular Hoka Clifton 9s.
While the left toe box feels too small, I don't experience any lasting discomfort or damage to my toenail after taking off my shoes. Also, the Hoka Clifton 9 GTX keep my feet warm during winter running (unlike the Hoka Clifton 9 which breathe too well for winter running for me).
At this point, I don't have a need to return my Hoka Clifton 9 GTX. For now, I'm planning to run in them all winter to see how they hold up and/ or to see if I will get another pair next winter.
