I like it, but I could do without the plaid, and that's why I only gave it 4 stars. I have in fact bought many of these warmup jackets

I can never find a women's jacket where the arm length goes to my wrists except for men's. I like the inside pocket and the fit is great, doesn't seem like a men's only jacket.

Very disappointed in the jacket liner. It is not flannel as advertised.

I purchased a warm-up jacket last year in tan color. The black equivalent with flannel lining was returned, it is too flimsy, unlike the one I already own.

Disappointed in this jacket. The plaid is way too bright and shows whenever the collar is anything less than fully zipped. The fabric is very noisy and plasticky feeling, and sounding.

I actually returned it. I bought it to replace a black, flannel line, Ralph Lauren jacket I bought in 1999, which was showing its age. It was black with a flannel lining. The Bean jacket lacked a chest pocket where I always carried my wallet. And, the jacket seemed a little lighter than I wanted for a three season jacket.

Ordered at the store but they wrote the name and address wrong.

Just not what was expected. Material much louder than expected. Much lighter/less warm than expected. Far less cozy (for a light-medium jacket) than expected. Surprisingly bulky in arms for low warmth and mobility. Maybe good for someone else in different weather, but not for me. And definitely too tailored on the fit. Thinner than it's fleece sibling.

NOT FLANNEL. As others noted, this is advertised as flannel lined but lining is thin polyester, lacking warmth and softness of flannel. Other elements: color, fit, zippers, etc are all good and I will keep to avoid hastle of return, but calling this flannel is false advertising.

"Flannel " liner is really a flannel pattern printed on cloth. Otherwise, jacket is okay..

I bought this as a fall jacket and am not pleased with the feel of the jacket. The lining is polyester and feels like a plastic fabric; not what I expected for flannel lining. The collar is also oversized and looks a bit silly when worn laying down flat. I guess if you want to walk around with your collar popped up this is your jacket. A few modifications and this could be a 5 star winner. As it stands for me, it is a 3 star return. I bought this from the website and had I been in the store would not have given it a second look.

The color isn't as vibrant in real life as it is in the picture. The collar is a little stiff too. Overall, this jacket is just so-so. I was hoping for something better.

I was hoping that this flannel lined jacket would be comparable to the fleece lined jacket which I own two of. I wanted a red jacket but that color only came in the flannel lined. I was disappointed that the flannel lined jacket did not have the same weight or warmth as the fleece model.

The flannel lining is very thin. This is basically a windbreaker.

I wanted to order one, but didn't like any of the 3 colors. Thanks anyway.

Not sure I like this. Collar is weird and doesn't look good when folded down. No inside pocket. Lining is thin and not in sleeves. May keep but disappointed.

Not happy with fit. Also the color is strange. I find myself hesitant to wear the coat. First time I've been disappointed with an LL BEAN product.

I like the weight of this jacket, it's good for in between seasons and will even repel light rain. I like that the shell material is nylon and the polyester lining is warm (too warm for summer).
However, I hesitate to recommend it any longer as after my first wash one of the front pocket zipper tabs broke off. LLBEAN offered to allow me to return it for exchange or credit, but they don't have the same color in stock any longer. So I can go without or keep a broken jacket. Seems too expensive now that it has a busted pocket zipper and I wish I had done better research when I set out to purchase a light jacket.

The color of the jacket (red) was great and the workmanship appeared high quality. But even though I wear a medium in virtually everything I buy, I swam in this. It's just way too boxy. I thought about getting a small but the fitted bottom would have been too small (it fit fine in the medium). Also (and I should have guessed this from the description), it's waterproofness makes it feel and sound really crinkly - more like a rain jacket than a jacket. It makes lots of noise when I put it on and when I walk around. Had to return it.

This jacket was fine except for one thing...the collar simply looked silly the way it laid with the plaid pattern. I returned it.

I was very disappointed when the jackets arrived. The weight and fabric were lighter than I expected. You certainly have to wear a sweater under this jacket. I was NOT for me.

The jacket arrived yesterday. Gave it away today. Flannel is thin cloth that you could not make into a flannel shirt. Fit is small. Zippers looked questionable. Wanted a comfortable Iight weight jacket. What arrived was a tight, thin, wind-breaker that did not look like a ll bean product. Very disappointed.
