I really like this bag. It's a good size, and I like the sturdiness of it. I do wish the strap were adjustable without leaving a lot of extra 'belt' hanging out, and that the outer pocket had a clasp as I worry about stuff falling out. Otherwise, this bag is fantastic.

Great style, just wish the exterior "pocket/pouch" also had a zip along the top as it is not very deep. Would be great for a cell phone if it had the zip. Very durable and classicly stylish.

I like the quality of this canvas crossbody, however, I agree with others that the outside pocket is too shallow. I also would have preferred a narrower strap. All in all, it's a good product.

It's a beautiful purse, lovely colors, holds alot. However, I'd recommend a magnetic snap closure for the pocket because it tends to gape, even with very little in it. I would also recommend a different strap design. I'm 5'2" and would prefer a way to shorten the strap that doesn't leave a long tail hanging below the purse.

Great size and well made. Another compartment would help with finding items.

I have used a small crossbody for years, but it was never large enough, so I decided to upgrade to a bigger bag. I love the look of this large waxed canvas and leather crossbody which I purchased in the very beautiful green (thyme), though I'm still getting used to the additional weight the bag carries for me. I find the bag digging into my shoulder after wearing it crossbody for awhile, but that's because I have a lot in it. This won't be a problem in colder weather if I have a jacket on. My only real complaint about the bag construction itself is the lack of a magnetic or snap closure on the pocket. The pocket itself is shallow, as well as wide, on this bag, extending down to the top of the leather base, and hangs open when anything of weight is put into it. So the only thing at this point I'm using it for is my car keys which I know won't fall out. I tried tucking paper receipts in there while shopping and they blew out once I stepped outside the store into a breeze, so I won't be using it for those again. The pocket could hold glasses, a phone, or keys, but that's about all I'm personally comfortable with. But I do love this bag and it feels like it will last forever. No regrets on this purchase!

Great quality. Simple design. Only complaint is there is no fastener or clasp for the outside pocket so whatever you put in it, can easily fall out if you're not paying attention or forget you had something in there. It's nice and open for accessibility, but I would like this bag better if that wide pocket could close. I will probably end up sewing a piece of Velcro or something on the inside to help with this issue. I just wish I knew of this open pocket before I bought it. Other than that, I really like it!

Well made bag with lots of room but needs some extra pockets on the inside for better organization. I had to use some Neetsfoot oil on the leather as it kept getting scratch marks. Darkened it a little but worked.

I love the design and look of this bag. I wish there were some interior pockets for stowing frequently used items, however, because the bag is deep enough to make locating such items difficult, and the outside pocket is too insecure for a cell phone, for example. Perhaps a snap would help.

Would have given 5 stars if there were a couple of small sleeves inside in addition to the one zippered pocket, which would help with organization, or a pocket to accomodate cell phone. The outer pocket could be deeper as I'm afrain to put anything of value in it for fear it could slip out. Overall quality is excellent but would have preferred a heavier duty zipper. Lots of room but the overall look is not oversized.

I wish it had more pockets, like one for my phone. Heavy on my shoulder even empty. Returned.

It's a great bag. But needs a divider or extra pocket. It becomes a large ditch for items to accumulate. The front pocket could really use a zipper or a snap. As items spill out. And as others have stated, it is HEAVY. I often leave the bag behind because of the weight.

Love this bag except for two minor 'issues'. The side pocket needs to be deeper. My phone has flipped out of it several times. And this one is minute,and the inside key fob is great but I would suggest putting it on the other side of the zipper so you don't have to open the zipper(bag) completely to reach it. Other than that love Bean products!

It is heavier and smaller than I planned for, and the drop pocket sits too close to the top of the bag-I am afraid things put in it will fall out. I like the darker color with the leather. I was able to adjust the belt to a size for my small frame. I have difficulty finding bags that are small enough for my body and yet able to carry enough.

I wish there was also handles on it. It is very inconvenient to only be able to cross it over the shoulder, especially when it's for a long duration. It hurts the shoulder.

I have to admit, I was a little disappointed in the construction of this bag. Two things stand out. First, the front outside pocket is not at all deep and is awkward I think because it interferes with the stiff fabric against the interior lining; second, the interior key fob is stitched too close to the zipper and there is no smooth run of the zipper. I probably should have returned this bag, but I wanted to love it so much that I reconstructed the interior key fob by removing it very carefully and attaching the latch to a large safety pin I hooked inside the bag in an out of the way place that holds my jeep fob.

Loved the style and look of this bag. Every time I saw it, I loved the look. Finally purchased it but had to return as functionally, it isn't as good as it looks. Not enough pockets inside. Stuff just gets lost on the bottom of the bad. Disappointed it didn't work out.

OK. I'm a little disappointed at how narrow it is. I checked the measurements several times and compared them with other bags but it doesn't hold anywhere near as much as another bag I have of similar sizemaybe because the sides are a lot stiffer than expected. Also surprisingly heavy, even empty. Looks great, but I used it only a couple of times before switching everything back to the older, far more beaten-up bag because it's much easier to get at things. (With all the same stuff in the Waxed Canvas Crossbody bag, the fit was so tight, the space so narrow, that I'd have to take out half the stuff in order to have room to find what I wanted!) If you aren't carrying more than a packet of tissues, keys, and a couple other small items, it'll do fine. Oh! Another complaint: the outside pocket. It appears to be deeper than it is. Barely deep enough to hold a small, slim paperbackpart of it, anyway.

Pockets are important to me. The only reason I gave it a 3 was because there is only 1 so-so pocket inside. The outside pocket is very shallow so I don't feel comfortable putting my phone in it. It is well made and the leather is soft and very attractive.

Nice size purse. 2 things need addressing. The outside pocket is a great sizebut it needs a snap to hold it shut so contents don't fall out. The shoulder strap is way too long. I am not short and have the strap on the shortest hole, now I have the long free end dangling down the height of the purse. I still like the purse but it needs those improvements.

This pocket book is very heavy when empty. It's also much larger than I anticipated.
