A great handbag, but too heavy for me. Also, there is no cellphone pocket.

Thought bag would be big enough for a 14-16 inch laptop but it's not. However it's good for smaller items. Wish it had more pockets and the from open flap should be deeper. Overall, I love the strap, the look of it, and it's serving it is purpose for this city commuter.

This is a very well made, beautiful bag. I'm sad that it didn't work for me, because I would have liked to keep it. The main issue was the pockets. The outside pocket is too shallow, and I'd be afraid that anything put in it would fall out. There is only one zipped inner pocket, so no place to put a cell phone. If the pockets were improved, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. The size is perfect, and the navy color attractive and versatile.

Great bag with 1 problem. The clips on the strap catch on sweaters etc. Otherwise a great and attractive bag.

I love the look of this bag. I wish it had at least one inside slip pocket for my phone. I'd prefer a much deeper outside pocket so items were more secure. I still like it as is.

This bag is replacing my old LLBean canvas crossbody satchel. Its stiff construction allows it to stand up/hold shape, which is an improvement. Nice, plain look (grey on brown leather). However, a wider strap seems necessary, and the clips attaching the strap are awkward (you have to orient them when donning the bag). Finally, as others are pointing out, the outside pocket is oddly shallow. No room for a book as I'd expected and may require the addition of a snap to keep items from falling out.

Nice looking. Good size. But what is up with th outside pocket?? Hope nothing falls out. Add a snap or make it deeper.

This is my second bag. Love the thyme color. Only wish the side pocket was deeper.

Leather with canvas looks sharp and durable. Outside outside pocket is disappointingly short, especially since there's no snap closure. Version I bought in store in September 23 has a sewn in canvas key fob which I cut off because it keeps getting caught in top zipper

The purse is just the right size. The leather is very nice. Canvas is a bit stiff, but may soften with use. Upside pocket is wide and shallow, good for holding Kleenex only in my opinion.

Love the shape, size and materials. My only issue has been the stubborn fold in the bag from the way the bag is packaged. The side pocket is also too shallow to be be of any real use.

I love this bag for its roominess. I can even fit my IPAD into it, if I need to. The front pocket is a bit shallow and there should be a cellphone pocket on the inside, but other than that it is a great bag for everyday use.

This purse is truly gorgeous in the color feldspar. Its one shortcoming: not enough inner compartments. I've purchased a purse insert, and it's worth it. A beautiful and long-wearing bag.

Great purse! Excellent quality and good size for my needs. The only negative is the outside pocket stops at the bottom of the canvas/top of the leather. I like putting items I need easily accessible there, like keys, but with it not being a deep pocket, I worry they will fall out.

Loved the look of this bag. I chose the sage green. When I got it, I found that it is a little small for my needs. I wish it had sections inside, and the outer pocket is shallow. Hoping the stiffness of the canvas will soften in time. But I decided to keep it!

The outside pocket is disappointing. It is too shallow to hold anything. If you put something in the pocket it will fall out.

I really like the size and style, but as others reviewed it has a couple shortcomings. The side pocket isn't deep enough and I've sewn magnetic clasps to keep it from gapping open. Inside pocket is very deep but another inside pocket and strap would have been a plus for keys.

Love this bag. Just wish the front outside pocket was a little deeper and maybe had a snap or something. I want to put my chapstick in there to find it easily and it just falls out. Otherwise- love it! Good quality, love the color. Perfect size for me too.

Love this bag as it looks great with whatever I am wearing . Very comfortable strap over the shoulder which is most important .

This is an attractive bag, sturdy construction. However, the outside pocket is quite shallow and has no closure, so it is pretty much worthless in my opinion. I worried that anything put in there could easily fall out. I returned this bag because of that.

Love the look of this bag. I wish it had more organization in the inside and I don't trust the shallow outside pocket.
