I bought this medium size LLBean toiletry bag because I have purchased them in previous years, used them myself and bought them for friends. I still really like it and it is very convenient size. However, I wish that the pockets inside were a little less deep. I find that it is a bit difficult to pull out my lotion and deodorant from the pockets. Other than that, is as well made and handy and I am sure that I will get a lot of use out of it.

The design of the bag is nice and very functional for travel. (Really liked the new design, but it was out of stock. Why?) One aspect of the bag I like is the pullout container with a hook that can contain shampoo, conditioner and a razor and can be attached to a shower curtain rod in the hotel room. The monogram is what I find inappropriate; it is tiny, relative to the size of the front of the bag. Given only the option as to the style and color of the monogram, but not the size or placement, I felt sure that I would like what I received. However, I would have centered the monogram on the face of the bag front and made it about twice the size.

Unused so far, I bought it for a future trip. But it looks very well made and will perform like indicated.

I am writing this review after having owned this bag for several years (> 5). The plastic material used for the first pouch (nearest the hanger) does not last and should be replaced with the material used for either the second pouch (plastic & mesh combined). The rest of the bag has traveled well for several years and with daily use.

I ordered this travel bag to replace the one that I had been using for several years. It is the 3rd one I've ordered because the mirror keeps cracking. This one disappointed me because the pockets on the sides were much smaller and my usual items wouldn't fit. The fabric of the bag has diminished in quality.

This is my second LLBean toiletry bag. I had my first one for about 20 years and the inside of the bag started flaking off. I liked the size of my first bag which was also called a 'medium'. The new bag isn't nearly as big and the side pockets are much too small. There were no side pockets in my old bag. It's still a well made bag and I just had to pair down all the things I would usually bring with on a trip.

Very nice, good choice of colors and monogramming is free with an LL Bean card.

The bag is exactly what my wife needed to satisfy her needs.

Both were gifts for grand kids. Ended up much smaller than we thought they would be, Would think "medium" would be medium-sized; seemed to be small to us.

The organizer is perfect but I ordered a Tri color in Spruce and the color doesn't match the picture shown on the website. It's an ugly greenish mustard yellow not the brighter color I was expecting. I picked that color to match a duffle bag my Granddaughter has and that color isn't close at all. But, the bag is perfect for what she wants so I'll reorder a different color.

My boyfriend asked for a toiletry bag and after reading the reviews, I chose this one. It is deceptively roomy for a small bag, and I like the features that set it above other shaving kits - the removable smaller bag, multiple pockets, and the ability to hang it up. I was expecting it to be larger, but it will hold all of his toiletries without taking up a lot of precious space in his carry-on. I'm pleased with the toiletry bag and would recommend it!

I bought this for my husband last year and he has used it to travel all over the world! He likes it so much he just bought one for our son. It's small yet large enough to fit everything he needs, and can hang on a door or towel rack easily.

I really like the medium bag I received for Christmas. Got the Grey Heather and it's beautiful. I think if LL Bean enclosed a photo suggesting how to fill it that would help. I do think mine had been purchased before and returned as I found a hairpin in it and I don't use them. Otherwise it's terrific

The medium is a perfect size to take to the gym and travel with. I love all of the pockets. There is more than enough room for all my toiletries. My only disappointment is that the mirror cracked within the first few weeks. I really like the mirror.

Purchased to replace more than ten year old version of same item. Very happy with the updates: more zip pockets, more slots for bottles and containers. The mirror and hook placement can get in the way when closing the bag, but it is a minor inconvenience to work around. Appears to be quality construction and materials.

The travel Toiletry organizer is terrific. Very well thought out. Substantial quality. Excellent product. My only issue was it was smaller than I expected. I should have ordered the large.

I ordered three of these toiletry organizers for my grandchildren. The bags were great. However I was greatly disappointed in the size of the monogram. I had ordered one previously for my husband and the monogram was the correct size. I don't know if I did something wrong or llbean has changed their monogram policy.

I've enjoyed my Personal Organizer for about four years and have found it to be perfect for the few toiletries and electric shaver that a guy needs. I find myself ordering another one today because the plastic window in the top pocket has degraded and fragmented. I understand that it's supposed to be a waterproof pocket, but my opinion is that it should be redesigned with a mesh pocket like the other pockets in the organizer. Other than that, it's a perfect travel companion for the weekend or for a couple of weeks.

This travel kit is well-made and convenient. I like the fact that it hangs, but also opens up and lies flat. The multiple compartments are helpful for organizing, and you can see where things are located. However, the medium-sized version turns out to be just a little small for me, and I don't think I have an unusual amount of stuff. I think most men would find the large-sized version a little better.

My son took this on a cruise and loved it!

It is very nice and sturdy, well organized. But I should have ordered a size larger.

Not near as large as the picture showed and expected it to be.

I have bought several personal toiletry bags for family over the years and have been happy with their sizing & performance. I was very disappointed at Christmas season that "seasonal" patterns offered in the past weren't available this year. Please return those (like Buffalo Plaids) in the future

I have the large organizer and wanted to downsize. The specs on the medium organizer says it is 11 3/4" wide but it is only 9 3/4 inches wide and is far too small. If it had been 11 3/4" wide I would have loved it but it is too small. These organizers are GREAT, however. I wish the medium size had been to the specs in the magazine.

Too small for my items, I had a large bag for 30 years and I loved it but large wasn't an option when I ordered it. Otherwise it's a great bag for traveling.
