These socks are superb to wear with L L Bean Boots as well as hiking shoes. The size is true to fit and retain their wearability for years. They are a great example of Bean products being the best.

My Husband and I have owned these socks which we purchased at LLBean and they have lasted so long - even with my Husband's "killer toes". I have tried two other brands of wool socks and they didn't hold up like these do, so these will be the only brand we buy from now on.

Great wool socks that keep your feet warm all through the colder seasons. They wear quite well, and have lasted years so far. Our family has purchased many pairs of these wool socks for ourselves and as gifts. Please add some new colors in the women's sizes.

I purchased these last year, must have been a sale, 2 pairs for $20. When I purchased this year, $20 a pair...but, OMGoodness, the fit is perfect, well worth the price. Wear them every day... hold up well, shape stays turn to fit. Thanks. Another sale would be nice :)

Hubby's favorite socks have been discontinued. He's been trying different brands. He really loves the comfort and fit with these. I think I found my new socks

These socks are amazing. My feet get unusually cold and these socks, along with my fabulous boots, have made it possible for me to be outside during the winter. I have three pairs and hope to get more next winter! The sizing is rather confusing since they do not say if they are going by men or women's sizing. I wear a small sock and wear a women's 7.5 shoe.

More comfortable than socks from competitors, despite (or maybe because of) a higher wool content. Some other wool socks are as little as 40% Merino wool. They do well in the washing machine.

Very comfortable socks. Love the merino wool. Keeps me warm in the winter, and cool in the summer.

I have plenty of heavy-weight wool socks. But they don't fit so well in walking shoes. These midweight socks from Bean do. And they still fell very warm. These are exactly what I was looking for.

Socks are nice looking for socks. Well made. My second pair. My first pair are 5 years old & look new. I only wear them when I go up north in cold climate.
