Wonderful socks. Fit close to feet giving support and helps hiking shoes to fit better. Very comfy and warm, but good in hotter weather as well.

Perfect socks for everyday wear. Nicely padded that work with casual shoes or athletic shoes. I have purchased these for years. They last through multiple washings without losing their shape. They wear a long time.

I have purchased Bean's Cresta Wool socks in light weight, mid-weight, and heavy weight in a variety of colors. Living on a farm in NC, I wear my non-insulated Bean boots almost every day, and my mid-weight Cresta Wools are my go-to socks year-round. They have cushioning that works well with Bean boots, my hiking shoes & sneakers. When wearing dress boots, I have to switch to my to thinner, lightweight Cresta Wool or Smart Wool socks. The heavyweight version of these socks is a little too thick to fit well into any footwear other than my Bean boots, and I mostly wear the heavy weights when it's freezing cold outside. I've had some of my Cresta Wool socks for over 10 years, and they are just as cushy and in good shape as when I bought them from Bean! I wear a size 11 women's shoe, and the size large fits me well in these socks. And although they have wool content, they are not itchy at all. I highly recommend Bean's Cresta Wool socks!

These socks are great! They wash great and I got them in a large as I like them to be comfortable not tight! They are soft and feel great too wear. I would recommend them.

Well made and comfortable, thought thinner than the Bean medium weight hiking socks I bought two years ago (a slightly different product).

Comfortable, cushy good padding, and support, these socks hold up well wash after wash. 80% merino is wonderful for softness, breathability, and keeping feet dry while 19% nylon is necessary for durability/no holes at stress points (same composition as Bean's Norwegian sweaters from the 80s, which may be why I still wear mine). The 1% lycra helps the socks retain their shape and stay up without feeling like feet are a stuffed liver sausage. The best feeling is putting on a fresh pair after reaching a mountain peak. it's like getting new feet.

These fit like a glove and kept my feet warm in the coldness of Ohio while hiking.

Cresta Midweight hiking socks are great ! I've had a difficult time finding socks that fit my big feet, are comfortable, and don't start falling apart right away. My feet are very wide (6E), so it would be great if someone made extra wide socks, but these socks are the best I have. I'll probably be buying more real soon.

Warm and cushy. They also fit well and I wear a small size shoe 6 1/2. Many times socks are way too big even when they are supposed to be small
