I was looking for a will scarf to replace an aging one. This was in the catalog as a woman's, but it looked as though it would suit my elderly self with its subdued colors. When it arrived it was obvious that it was just right, and in this cold winter here in NYC, its warmth has been with me every day. An excellent choice for man or woman

I just received my 2nd lambswool scarf. I just cant believe it. The second one I got was in the lambswool in buffalo camel tone. The color of this one is SO PRETTY and RICH. Lovely rich reddish browns and cremes. This will go well with just about anything. I wore the first one I ordered out one nite. This one was in the buffalo check pattern also but in the sugarplum colors. It is so soft and warm, as I am sure the one in camel will be also. There is absolutely NO ITCH problem to it. I have a surgical scar from a previous surgery that I try to keep protected, but also to try to keep my neck warm from winter cold and aches and pains. This does the trick, beautifully and very fashionably.. Now I will look forward to winter being here again next year so I can bring out my BEAUTIFUL warm winter scarves and wear them. Now I just have to find some spring ones to wear, when the weather warms up too much for me to wear my winter ones. THANKS LL BEAN for always having the right item at the right time....My problem solver. YEAH for LL BEAN.....YOU ARE THE GREATEST....

Gorgeous colors - I bought the one with purple / pink / pale blue / cream tones. It's very warm, and soft against my skin, although it is a wool item. I find it not itchy at all, although I should tell you that I am very tolerant of wool, and like it. This blocks the wind very well, and keeps heat in. Also, it is not a long, long scarf, with extra length to double around the neck and loop the ends through. It is plenty long enough to go once around the neck and wrap or tie off, and leave the ends out or tuck them into your coat. I'm very happy with this item.

I just received my beautiful lambswool scarf yesterday, in the most stunning colors of buffalo plaid: sugarplum colors. I was just blown away with all of the soft and muted colors in it. I just recently had neck surgery and needed someething to cover up the scar, but also to keep all of the hardware nice and warm and to keep the winter weather from causing my neck to ache. The first nite I got it I wore it out at nite. OH MY GOSH, it was so cuddly warm and didnt even itch at all. I had recently ordered, and received, a much lighter weight scarf, also from LL Bean, which I didnt like. So I returned that one and ordered the other one in the buffalo plaid, camel brown colors, which I expect to love just as much. The length is super great for wrapping or just allowing to hang loose. If there is any doubt in your mind at all as to whether or not you should order this scarf, totally get it out of your mind. This is up to LL Beans usual high qualityand standards and well worth what they are asking for it. BUY IT BEFORE IT IS ALL GONE IN ALL THE PRETTIEST COLORS......

I bought the buffalo scarf for myself and two for gifts. The colors are beautiful and the scarf is pure quality. I wear it with so many things. It's warm yet stylish. And looks good with just about anything from my Primaloft blue pine jacket to a khaki trench coat. Even my gray llbean hoodie looks adorable with this scarf. My mom and daughter love theirs too. I was impressed too with the lovely tag sewn in that says it is woven in Ireland. Just made it such a nice gift. And the price is very, very good too if you compare it to what else is out there online. Once again. LLBean rises to the occasion. :)

This scarf, which is about $40.00 is worth it!! It is very warm, and durable. The lovely color scheme goes with everything I own. Made from quality lambswool, and I have paid $30 for cheap acrylic scarves that fell apart easily. I am impressed with L.L Beans quality here.

I purchased three of these scarves for myself this year. They are soft, warm, a nice size, and the colors are rich and pretty.

The last time I was in London, I treated myself to a wool scarf in a shop on Regent Street. Alas, I lost it while doing holiday shopping in the Old Port in Portland, Maine. L.L.Bean to the rescue! I got this equally soft and beautiful scarf in almost no time.

I purchased the scarf as a Christmas present for myself. The plaid was a beautiful plum and cream. It was soft and I really looked forward to wearing it, however, my daughter saw it and and claimed it!

Soft, cozy, warm--the only wool I've worn that hasn't been itchy at all, and I leave it around my neck indoors as well as outdoors to keep away the chill. The length is perfect for looping or not. It's a delight to wear.

Believe it or not, I purchased this scarf in 5 colors from 2013 to 2014. I broke down and purchased the Camel Buffalo plaid last week in the Evergreen Walk retail store in CT. I'm obsessed with the colors and softness and warmth of this scarf. I have 4 LL Bean Barn Coats and 5 Down coats and these go so well with all of them and keep my neck warm. They are plenty long and you can wrap the scarf around your neck with plenty of room to tuck in your coat. With the mixture of vivid colors especially in the buffalo plaids, the colors of the scarves are interchangeable with all of my LL Bean winter coats. I'm especially impressed with the fact that LL Bean has made these 100% lambswool made in Ireland scarves available to us. Check these out in the retail store if you have the opportunity. You won't be disappointed.

warm, remarkably non itchy, and the added length makes it even better. This is my second one, in more pastel plaid colors. The plaid pattern is clear and the scarf is exceptionally well made. I would recommend this scarf to anyone who enjoys a light, non bulky, extra warm addition to neck and chest. One very cold morning i even pulled it up over my nose to warm the air...for me, it was perfect.

I purchased this scarf in the HOLIDAY BUFFALO PLAID and matched it up with your TEAL PEACOAT. . This scarf made in Ireland is the perfect length and I got the idea to match it after seeing it displayed together in the circular. Oh I am going broke, I was so happy with the ensemble I could not return it even though I did not need another coat, as I already purchased the Arcadia down coat from LLBean. Bottom line scarf is beautiful and nice to get away from drab winter colors. Hoping you bring back BAXTER STATE PARKER IN MARINA BLUE NEXT YEAR, DID NOT LIKE THE NAVY HEATHER AT ALL. Scarf is much prettier then it shows on line!! So soft and nice size. It is longer then most of them are!!! Happy I bought it!!!!

I got this as a bday gift in sugarplum. It is absolutely beautiful. It's very soft, lightweight, and warm. To prevent hat hair I can wrap this around my head to cover my ears and still cover my neck to keep me warm, instead of reaching for a stocking cap. It says to dry clean and to keep it looking nice I will follow these directions.

This scarf is the perfect match color wise for my coat, length wise for my height, and comfort wise for my neck!

These are beautiful scarves! They are the perfect length and width, and very warm and cozy. I purchased one in black, gray, and white plaid for my brother last year and he loves it. The women's buffalo sugarplum sold out fast last year and I had to wait until this year to purchase it. I receive many compliments. I have since purchased a second one for myself, the green and plum plaid, and will receive it soon. I think the price is fair for the quality and attractiveness, particularly with the discounts available currently.

This scarf is absolutely beautiful. It's so soft and cozy, and I will thoroughly enjoy wearing it this winter. The main reason I purchased it is that it reminds me of a wool blanket my mother had when I was growing up. So every time I wear it I will especially think of her. I was concerned this might be itchy but it was'nt It is soft and very warm , It goes well with most of my coats, jeans jacket etc.

This scarf is very well made, warm and does not cause me to itch. I wrap it over my head and when it is bitter cold, pull it up to my face. Excellent value.
