I bought this in August on sale, beautiful, and just wore it this week, when it finally got cold in NY. It wasn't scratchy at all in the cool air, but was warm and inviting. Unfortunately, I ordered a plaid that now looked too masculine for me, and my son gladly took it off my hands!..Another one will be in the mail asap! A great gift for no reason :-)

I treated myself to this scarf... just loved the plaid and way it looks. It is warm and good length to be able to wrap it around my neck and chin to keep the cold out. I find the lambswool soft (but I am in no way wool aversive). Lovely fabric!

This Irish Lambswool scarf in Black Stewart is beautiful, wonderful in size, texture, and very cozy to wear. The price is very good also compared with synthetics. I hand laundered this scarf right off in a sink with cold water with a bit of liquid laundry soap, gently squeezing (never twist) it only while cleaning and thoroughly rinsing, and hanging to dry; it stayed it's shape and colors, no wrinkles or shrinking.

Wishing the molten red scarf would become available.

I bought this scarf in the Royal Stewart Plaid. It is so gorgeous. It is warm because it is made of Irish wool It has a substance, to it which is a rarity to find today. The colors are vibrant and so cheerful. I love it!

This is the third Irish Lambswool scarf that I have ordered from L.L. Bean. They are plush and super-warm. I wear them every day during the cold, winter months.

I bought this scarf in the loden green to match my new LL Bean barn coat. The colors are beautiful and,though it is lamb's wool, the scarf is very soft next to my skin. Great buy!

I worn this scarf many times this year. It is very comfortable to wear (not scratchy) and I've received many compliments on it. It goes with so many of my turtlenecks and my Winter Warmer coat!

My idea of a real Christmas gift, this scarf at full price is a prize. The colours, the quality, the performance, light yet warm. Every time I wear it, I feel special.

My wife loves the Irish lambswool scarf- it's a nice weight and length, has beautiful colors, and is very soft. The fact that it was actually made in Ireland and is real wool adds a special touch. Here in Wisconsin, a scarf really helps keep you warm, and this one is as nice as they come.

I have two of these scarves, the vibrant red, copper and blue number, for myself and just gave the beautiful white with soft fuschia plaid scarf to my younger daughter. I can recommend this scarf wholeheartedly. The scarf is soft, warm and makes a difference on a really cold winter's day. The plaids are so beautiful. My daughter loved it. I'm going to order another for my other daughter, who has other scarves but not one of these. I guess I like the irish wool and the plaids LL offers, not the classic but a modern updated plaid.

I am giving the cream for a gift because sometimes we need that little bit of luxury in our wardrobe. My girls are getting quality scarves from LLB and leather dress gloves for fashion to complete their winter essential dress wardrobes. Christmas is not a time to be practical. Only the best will do.

I bought the Molten Red Plaid scarf as a gift for a friend and she absolutely loved it. The colors are beautiful and are just as they appear on my screen. Material is soft, not itchy at all. I liked it so much I'm going to order one for myself. The scarf looks like I paid much more than the actual cost.

I purchased this scarf for the beautiful colors, Two shades of red mixed with a soft brown and I really like the shade of blue in the scarf. It is wool so it is warm and really not scratchy at all. Different from all the scarfs I see, glad I purchased it.

Purchased the loden plaid it's a beauty and it's warm, soft,not itchy and the length is just right without the bulk. Highly recommend and this color is true as pictured .I found the red plaid not to be so it was very dull so I'm awaiting one more try in the multi plaid hope it's as true in color as the loden plaid.

I am wearing my scarf today, as it is the first cold day of the season. It is warm, soft and beautiful! Not at all scratchy, like some wool scarves. I am glad I bought three, in different colors.

I had been admiring these for years and finally decided to pull the trigger and try one with a promotion. I got the multi-color and it is beautiful and well-made. I intend to wear it as a fashion accessory at the office when chilly but I can see it would be warm and look great with a winter coat. I would not dawdle if you are considering as they do run out especially around the holidays. Makes a great gift and being made in Ireland makes them even more special.
