I love this chair! I often bring it in my daypack on hikes, so I can sit in comfort at my destination. Very lightweight, and very comfortable!

I have been looking for a small chair to take to Tanglewood and for camping. I saw this in the store and ordered this one that is on sale. It is exactly what I wanted. I tried sitting in it when I was visiting the Hadley store and it was very comfortable. The best feature is how compact and light it is for carrying.

I'm surprised by how much I love this chair. It sits low, but that turned out to be a benefit, as I can really lounge and stretch back in it -- and it remains stable. It's easier on my back than my regular chairs. Good job, LLBean chair makers!

The chairs are comfortable and take up hardly any space. I bought 2. I was a little nervous reading the other reviews about how much trouble people had getting the seat on but I had no such trouble with either one. I did need to use a little muscle but nothing crazy. Had the whole chair together in about a minute.

Love this chair. The compact size. It is actually very comfortable. There is a learning curve to getting in and out of it,but once you have mastered that, it's great.

For those who are having trouble connecting the seat - lay the chair on the side and gently push that last bar down toward the seat pocket. Do the same thing to take the first corner pocket off. Somewhere there is a video of this, which is how I learned to do it on an earlier model.

The chair is compact, lightweight, and sturdy. My only problem is that I have difficulty inserting the final corner of the seat/back into the collapsable pole. Hopefully it will stretch a little so it's easier. Otherwise, it's a great chair!

Lightweight, sturdy, packs very small, everything you could want in a camp chair. I bought one, liked it so much I bought a second one. BUT: If you try to assemble it from the top down, you will NEVER be able to insert the bottom (front) rods into their pockets. Put the bottom ones in first. The top ones, being longer, have enough flex that you can fit them in after the bottom ones are inserted. ATTENTION LL BEAN: A simple note explaining this would save you a lot of returns and unhappy customers....

I weigh 230 lbs and the chair fit me fine. Tucking the post in the last pocket does require a little muscle, but the posts are flexible. They do sit low, but I'm 6' tall and found them comfortable. The fabric on the back is breathable which is a nice feature.

A very solid chair! A little bit of a challenge to put together but if I can do it at "80 years young", you can too. Sits low but I am able to get in and out of it. No problem!

The base of this chair is amazingly easy to set up, all one piece with stretchy cords running throughout. Extremely compact, fits back inside its case and easy to tote. Initially, it was difficult to connect the seat portion to the base. (arthritic hands). Had to leverage the seat against my body so it had a little stretch. It gets easier the next time.
Very comfortable with good support!

I was at the flagship store (we live in Freeport) and sat in this chair while my wife looked around. It packs up really small and will fit easily into a LL Bean tote or Sea Bag. We decided to get one for our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Pippa. We bring her and the chair with us when we go to breweries and restaurants with outdoor dining. Everyone asks if it is a dog chair and we tell them it's a human chair that we mainly use for our little pup, but is is super comfortable for humans too.

I'm happy with this chair. I wanted a small chair to keep in my car for post hike relaxing or changing out of my ski boots in the winter. This lil guy packs up nicely and takes up very little space.

Great compact camp chair that can accommodate adult weights, but is just perfect for the pre-teen, young adults. Easy carry to game events and perfect around a campfire. My boys love them.

Bought this as a gift for my 25 year old son. We were both surprised at how small it was both in height and width (a weight advantage for carrying it somewhere.) But both of us thought it was comfortable. My son sat in it for a couple of hours in the living room while on social media, so I think it was a hit. Setting it up, he had a little trouble getting the last fabric pocket over the LOWER support. It's easier to insert the lower supports on both lower pockets first, then insert the upper supports.
