Best chairs for traveling and at the beach. We love them and they are so easy to fold up and open up. Fabulous for hiking and then enjoying a spot

When all is said and done, I love this chair.. very comfortable, not hard to get in and out ofpacks up small...couple of minor issues..assembling it requires a little effort to fit the final leg into the slot provided.no armrests but you're close enough to the ground to reach your beer, drink,.I'm sitting in it right now, writing this review..overall great buy!

Ordered 2 for RV travel as they pack small and we are short on space. These are made for folks who like to be grounded and are small to average sized. The chair is so comfortable that one is set up at home for reading when it's not needed in the RV. Glad we bought them!

This is a great little chair that's idea for tailgating and sitting on the deck in the winter when the patio furniture is stored for the winter! It is easy to set up, and all family members deem it comfortable. I think we will be purchasing another for my husband!

The Packlite chair has been great so far. The base is very easy to put together. One does have to use a little bit of muscle to pull the fabric onto the base poles, but it is not difficult. One suggestion that I would like to see is a small pocket on the back, or under the chair to put the carry bag in. I ended up just rolling the bag up and clipping it to the back of the chair with a paper clamp.

We bought 2 of these chairs to use when we kayak and hang our on beaches or on rocks along the coast of Maine. They stow easily in our kayaks, are comfortable, and are easy to put back in their case.

Packs up small so you can carry around any where in the little sack it comes in. Comfortable, support on back is better then the old bag chairs.

I have purchased 2 of these chairs and have absolutely no negative comments! I actually lose a foot to one of the chairs and LLB and Packlite both worked quickly to send me replacement parts at no cost. I would highly recommend this chair. It is light, packable, durable, and very comfortable after a long day of hiking.

This chair seems to perform every bit as well as my much more expensive Helinox chair. It's just as comfortable, perhaps slightly easier to set up, and only a few ounces heavier. I can deal with the slight additional weight to save $40 - $50.

Setup easy Very comfortable Well made like most LL Bean products.
I tried to pull rubber feet off because others say theirs fell off.
I could not move them at all.

Very comfortable and lightweight. The darker material is more like a canvas so it is very sturdy, while the inner part is a breathable mesh. Lots of compliments from other people on how easy it was to setup/teardown.

I do photography for sporting events, and often need to be low. This allows me to do that comfortably, and out of the way of people behind me.

It packs small and lite but I wish it sat a little higher. It's a little difficult to get out of, but still a good purchase I plan on keeping.

Just received it for Christmas so I haven't been able to use it, but initial thoughts are favorable. Primary use will be for kids' baseball / soccer games. Wanted something small to keep in my car trunk. I like that even though its compact it does sit a little higher than most compact chairs. Pretty easy to assemble, disassemble and pack up, takes ~2 minutes tops. I recommend the chair.

Great lightweight chair that folds down to an easy to pack size. It is reasonably comfortable for most situations but not for lounging for long periods.

This chair is perfect for backpacking, or just some short term sitting around the campfire. It's a little smaller than I thought it would be, but overall it's comfortable, lightweight, and gets the job done!

Like the chair, but the rubber feet attached to the bottom of the legs are too small and you sink into the ground. Took the chair backpacking for the first time and lost one of the rubber feet. The chair needs a lot bigger/wider rubber feet at the bottom of the legs. If I can't find them I'll just use a piece of tarp under the chair.

The chair itself is excellent. The rubber feet (4 per chair) come off accidentally, and if you aren't aware, you may lose a foot every time you use the chair. We used them at the beach and after the first use, we found, when we got home, that one of the feet was missing. Even though we were aware of this problem and paying attention, we lost 2 more feet. We're trying to figure out how to jerry-rig the feet for a fix - Gorilla Glue perhaps. No replacement feet available from LLBean
